Hotel Alkyon has a stunning view of Mykonos town!!! Especially the sunset, it was beautiful. It was just 10 minutes walking to the center of Mykonos town, but pretty steep stairs so be prepared to wear comfortable shoes. We booked the twin beds room with extra sofa bed. The beds were on the firm side which is very comfortable and we have a balcony facing amazing view of Mykonos town and Mediterranean Sea!!! The breakfast there was excellent with lots of variety and freshly made every morning. We really enjoyed staying at this hotel and appreciated Sophia who was able to accommodated to let us have early breakfast and arrange complimentary shuttle service to pickup and drop us off to the airport! Would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone who wants to visit Mykonos.

First of all, the location was perfect for us. The hotel is located on top of the mountain so impeccable views the whole day. Only down side of this could be the stairs to the old town, but as young people we didn't mind this. The room had a good size including balcony, fridge and A/C worked good.

There were a few things we think could be improved, e.g.: there was no bottled water in the room which seems quite odd for a 4-star hotel, the airport transfer is not available during early morning or during the night, the shower didn't had a shower screen which made the whole bathroom wet after showering, there were several guests that 'reserved' their sunbeds during the day (in my opinion, this does not fit the type of hotel and destination and the staff could pay more attention to this), more variety at breakfast as the breakfast the same everyday.

Reception was Excellent, Airport Pickup also great. Location and Views Amazing. Short stroll down hill to Port. Far enough away to get away from Cruise Ship Hoards. Pool Location excellent, Room very spacious and clean. Would definitely stay here again

Great location, amazing pool, relaxing & comfortable, breakfast was superb

Location is right at the top of a steep hill - not a bad thing but something to keep in mind. Shuttle service was precarious - didn’t show up after our ferry was delayed (tried contacting but no response) & was late for our return transfer. Again, just something to keep in mind (driver was super nice & speedy, though).

Reception staff amazing and always accommodating what we asked. Our room was lovely, with a view over the town to sea, under the pool area. Buffet breakfast exceeded expectations, and it was good to stay by the pool one afternoon, drinking cocktails that were made by the pool bar attendant, and watching sunset.

Very minor - almost not worth mentioning. We may have been near the pool's filter or an air conditioning unit, so at times it seemed we could hear a slight hum and it was ever so slight in the background. Given I sleep with ear plugs when I travel, it was not an issue at all. What else didn't I like? Me having to leave - I could have stayed longer.

We had a very large room, really comfy bed, great shower (tho the lighting was a bit dim). The staff were really lovely. The highlight was the view - from the hotel and pool and our room - looking down to the town & out to sea. Just a 10-12 minute walk to town or the little beach, tho being all uphill on the way back made us stop to admire the view more than once. Really good breakfast buffet, hot & cold selection. Fantastic bonus was the free collection from the port and free drop off at the airport. Perfect place to stay on our last night of island hopping.

The staff was very helpful. I was also positively surprised by their level of English. breakfast could be better but it was sufficient and in a restaurant with a great view. the sunset view of the hotel is great. the rooms are spacious and having a balcony is very nice. It is very nice that they give towels for the beach and there is a parking lot, although it is not very large.

There could be a hanger in the bathroom to hang towels. There should be ropes and pegs on the balcony to dry things. WiFi does not work well in most places in the hotel.

This hotel was amazing! I don’t think the reviews highlight how great this property is! We were in room 103, the view from the room was amazing and the room itself was great. It was super quick to get into the main part of town. The pool was so good and the cocktails made by the guy running the pool bar was 10/10! I wish we got his name because he was fantastic. He gave us so many recommendations and was lovely. The breakfast was exceptional.

The only issue we had in our entire stay was the shuttle pick up. Unfortunately our ferry was delayed which we have now come to realise is a norm in Greece! Haha The delay caused confusion with shuttle pick up and we had to pay for a taxi to get to the hotel which was a shame. Other than this, our stay was amazing!!

Stunning view and pool. Room was really big and beautiful bathroom and toiletries. Excellent location and really just a short walk down into town. Breakfast had a lot of options. I would definetly stay again. The free airport transfer made it good value.

Great to have the free airport/port pick up, but the drop off for airport was late collecting me and then went to port first to drop others. So I was a lot later at airport than I wanted - the flight was being called for last call. I only made it as I had checked in online. So might be worth paying a transfer to be sure to get there on time.

The most beautiful view over Mykonos. Love the pool area, listening to music and soaking up the view with a drink in hand. The staff there are so friendly and helpful. The rooms were cleaned immaculately everyday. Great location and yes, there is a little walk down / up hill but it’s so short and worth it for the view. Breakfast buffet was great and lots of different choices. Had a massage booked through hotel and they came to the rooms, was amazing! Would 100% recommend to anyone and would stay again.
