We stayed at this lovely hotel for 11 nights with our kids ( age 11 and 13) and booked two rooms. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, providing all the information we needed to make our stay smooth and enjoyable. The rooms were spotless, beautifully decorated, and the beds were super comfortable, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. If you're planning to stay here, we recommend booking with breakfast included. There was a great variety of fresh, delicious food every morning. With such a fulfilling breakfast, we only needed a light lunch to keep us going until dinner. One of the highlights of this place is the stunning view overlooking the sea and Mykonos town, absolutely breathtaking! The location is ideal, with Megali Ammos beach just a few minutes’ walk away and the town centre only 15 minutes on foot. Overall, we were extremely happy with our stay. The hotel had everything we needed and more. We’ll definitely be coming back next time we visit Mykonos!

Nikos, Alex, and Margarita were all fantastic, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. They were professional, friendly, and made us feel truly welcome. We had arranged an airport transfer, which was punctual and very reasonably priced. Our room was spotless, with a stunning sea view, and just a short walk from both the town center and a nearby beach. Breakfast was generous, delicious, and delivered to our room each morning exactly on time. We also appreciated the thoughtful touches, such as the provision of towels, helpful tips for exploring the island, and even parting gifts. Overall, everything exceeded our expectations and made for a wonderful stay.

Difficult to summarise what we liked about our stay at Villa Margarita, as we loved every single aspect. On arrival it was amazing to have been allowed an early check-in with our flight landing in the morning. Then we were met by Alex who gave us an insightful introduction to the island of Mykonos, with a map to show us what areas we should head to for certain activities, including where had accessible parking. When we got to our room/mini villa, we were very pleased to see that we had massive (and comfortable) bed, A/C, an iron/ironing board, ample wardrobe space, a safe with our own code, a mini fridge, and a clean bathroom. The view from outside our room was incredible. We didn't get tired of looking out over Mykonos town and the iconic windmills down towards Little Venice. The location is excellent for anyone who doesn't mind walking down some stairs and then up a hill into the town in less than 15 minutes! The sunset over the (soon to be complete) pool was one of our favourite views. Of an evening, I took great pleasure in seeing Nicolas to give my breakfast order which would be delivered to our front porch the next morning (with no extra charge for breakfast delivery), and to give him an update on our day and plans for the next. The staff would always check to see how we were enjoying our stay but not in a way that felt like they were intrusive or nosey. They were perhaps the friendliest hotel hosts we have ever encountered. They always gave recommendations for good food spots and beach locations, telling us where to go to avoid large crowds, and strong winds. The breakfast had a great variety of options depending on what you fancied, from croissants with jam, omelettes, and yoghurt with muesli. They also had multiple juice options which were so refreshing whilst sitting on our porch as the sun came over the east facing hill behind this stunning hotel.

(continued from above) the hotels spare bathroom which included a shower. The staff were so willing in every way to ensure that we had the best stay possible, and I will 100% be recommending any friends, and family who are intending to visit Mykonos, that Villa Margarita is the place to stay. The only thing we didn't like, was leaving!

Transport from the port: we recommend arranging the transport with the hotel. Alex was waiting for us when we got off the ferry and the price is much better than you will get anywhere else Room: very well equipped with everything you might need. It was beautiful, very clean, spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Cleaned to perfection every day! Staff: amazing, thank you guys for all the recommendations, rent a car, beach towels, etc. The sunset from the rocks next to the hotel is far better than from the village. ;)

We loved everything. Our studio was perfect. Plenty of space, a big comfy bed, good A/C, fantastic shower with lots of hot water, handy kitchen with fridge, toaster and electric kettle. The balcony was a really good size, and it was lovely to look over the ocean on an evening watching the sunset. The most amazing part of our stay at Villa Margarita was the wonderful team led by brothers Nikos and Alex. They couldn't do any more than they did to make our stay perfect. They took time with us, giving great advice, answering all our questions, and arranged fantastic car hire . The location is away from the busy town and is so peaceful. It is family run, and you really feel the warmth and kindness from your first minute to the time you need to say goodbye. We highly recommend this place. We will be back Nikos and Alex.

Nothing - Everything was perfect.

Nikos and Alex were the most friendly, hospitable and helpful hosts that you can imagine. They work hard, but they will never give you the feeling that anything is too much. We felt very much Our room was spacious, clean and equipped with everything we needed. There is a well working AC in the room, mini fridge, even a flat iron. Bathroom was new. Breakfast can be ordered every evening from a list to your desired time (8-10am). Everything was fresh and tasty. You can get your beach towel everyday in the reception. And you'll get daily tips where to go from Nikos if you like :)

Everything great. An umbrella on the terrasse would be great, so you could eat your breakfast outside also in hot summer without overheating in the morning already.

I recently stayed at Villa Margarita, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience. The view is absolutely breathtaking, both day and night. From our room, we could see the beach and the cruise ships far below, creating a truly magical atmosphere. The location is perfect, just a 2-minute walk from the beach. The property itself is adorable, impeccably clean, and equipped with all the necessary amenities. The staff was incredibly lovely and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. I´m a frequent Greece and Mykonos traveller (more than 20 times) and if you are searching for a mix between a room from a private family and a hotel, Villa Margarita is your place to go. Professional, private, friendly, helpful - everything you need (breakfast from a greek Mum, a scooter, a secret advice and more) is here at one place. Nikos and his family are doing everything they can to make your holiday perfect. The rooms are big and daily cleaned. You also can get towels for a more than fair price right at the reception (the beaches are asking for a minimum of 10 Euros to rent a towel per day!) The reception also offers coffee capsules, wine and local made souvenirs, all at one place without being commercial. Try it! Villa Margarita has my full support, I´ll definetely come back!

The welcoming was exceptional, those people know how the hospitality should be like. I felt like home. The view from the top was nice too, the room was clean and the breakfast was good value for money and quite delicious.

- The price was too high for what I got, but the whole island was too expensive during that time (August). - There were few problems with the bathroom (door was not closing properly, shower problems and there was a quite a bad smell). - Although the walking distance to the shops area was not far but it was not convenient, even for healthy adults. The location was good but climbing the ‘many’ stairs over and over again up to the property was not enjoyable. - The mattress was okay but could be better. - the decoration and the interior could be enhanced.

Everything about this property was amazing! From the reception area to the rooms, we could not have asked for a better place to stay! Not to mention the views are outstanding. Nikos and Alex were the most gracious hosts and truly made our experience in Greece wonderful. They were both so kind and everything was super clean. The room service is amazing and they should be so proud of what they have created. We would recommend this place to everyone and will definitely be coming back!
