When we arrived we were given a warm greeting by Maria and Christopher, the owners, with a refreshing drink and a lovely snack. The property is in a fantastic location, just next door to a supermarket, and laundry. It is also very close to lovely cafes, bakeries, and great restaurants , and only a 5 minute walk to the beach. Another bonus is the bus stop is right outside the hotel so very easy to catch the bus into the old town. The pool area was fantastic and a great place to relax. We had a one bedroom apartment and loved it. Very spacious with amazing air conditioning in both the living room and the bedroom. It was very modern and we also loved the full size fridge and separate bathroom. The hosts were so helpful and friendly. We can't wait to come back!

The property’s lovely, we had a newly refurbished apartment with a bedroom, sofa bed in the main room, a kitchen area and a lovely bathroom. It has all been done up to a beautiful standard. A balcony on one side overlooks the mountains and on the front we had a terrace with a view of the sea. It’s a 5 minute walk to the fabulous sandy beach with crystal clear water. Some good tavernas for lunch on the seafront. There is a bus stop on the road by the hotel that takes you into the main town, chora. €2.60 ticket from the supermarket 2 minutes away. The pool was great with lots of sunbeds. We loved the breakfasts with lots of choices including Greek savouries, and delicious pastries, cake and fruit. All home made. What was great was the hospitality, Maria and Kristopher and the family are such friendly hosts and were really helpful, thanks so much for making our stay so nice.

Such a friendly family run hotel with lovely hosts. Our villa was newly refurbished and was bright, modern and very comfortable for 2 adults and a 3yr old. Lovely beds and nice and quiet at night. Spotlessly clean. Great pool (unheated) with sun loungers. Fresh buffet breakfast every morning. Great location, less than 10mins to a gorgeous sandy beach with beach bars and quiet spots too. I’d 100% recommend it and would stay again.

Birikos is a wonderful accomodations option in Agios Prokopios. Maria, the owner, and her family have run this suite/apartment hotel for over 40 years on land that had been in her family for generations. The location is excellent, with a 5 minute walk to the beach and supermarket, gas station, laundry, bakery, and car rental all right next door. The bus stop is right outside the property. The buildings are withdrawn a bit from the main road, with a large garden, pool, and sunbeds. A delicious, hearty, and homemade breakfast with many savory and sweet options is included for all guests. There is plenty of free parking. Maria and her family are the warmest, kindest, and most helpful people you can imagine, and work tirelessly to delight their guests in every way possible. The rooms are spotless and made up every second day. Some are very recently renovated. We had a one bedroom apartment with a double bed, and 2 single beds in the main living area. It was perfect for a family of 4 with 2 adult children.

There really isn't anything to point out here. Everything was wonderful.

We loved the central location in Agios Prokopios which was a few minutes walk to the beach and the shops such as the supermarket and tavernas. Our two bedroom apartment was also modern and clean. The family who owns and runs the property were very friendly and hospitable which made our stay even more enjoyable. The facilities such as the pool were great and we looked forward to the delicious home cooked breakfast every morning.

This property was perfect! Our favorite place our family had been. The rooms were lovely, clean, and comfortable. Every morning there is a very large breakfast. It’s less than a 5 min walk to the beach where the waves are calm and perfect for families. There’s also grocery store next door as well as some shops and restaurants. If you choose not to rent a car a bus stop is outside the property as well.

Absolutely incredible stay! Maria and Christofer were the most friendly, hospitable hosts, nothing was too much trouble. The space was beautiful and the location excellent. I highly highly recommend staying here, we felt right at home. Plus the homemade, traditional daily breakfast made us excited to wake up in the morning - absolutely exquisite home cooking. We couldn’t be happier with our choice of accommodation!

Can’t fault a thing!

Great pool. My kids loved the fact that it was very deep, but may not be so good for little children. Plenty of sunloungers and daybeds. Fabulous breakfast and outdoor/covered seating area. Friendly and helpful staff. Location was good - short walk to the beach and lots of tavernas and supermarket. Bus stop outside the accommodation made a bus transfer from the ferry very easy and cheap. Pool towels were also provided and beach umbrellas were available to borrow which was a nice touch.

I imagine some of the apartments have been renovated and others not, as our accommodation was perfectly functional but didn't look like the photos on the website, which was a bit disappointing.

The property feels new, it is well looked after. Place was clean, pool was quiet but large with various pool toys, breakfast offered a good selection, staff were friendly, room/appt was a short walk from pool, with nice balconies. Location was handy just a very short walk to town, restaurants, supermarket, and right by the bus stop.

Really nothing. Perhaps the BP opposite is not the most visually appealing, but that’s being picky.

The Birikos Hotel was a lovely family run traditional hotel. We loved the fact that it was clean and modern but had maintained authentic Greek charm. The grounds are beautiful and the nearby coastline has some of the best beaches in Greece. The family who run the hotel cannot do enough for you and the breakfast is fabulous too!
