The hotel is in a good location, and if you pay a little extra for a room with a balcony overlooking the sea, you will be rewarded with a spectacular view. The hotel offers good value for money. The building is 'naturally vintage', as it looks like not much has changed in it since the 1960s. But we loved the retro charm, and at just under €70 per night for a spacious double room with a sea view, it really was a bargain. Everything was clean and functional. Would stay there again.

The internet was OK in the lobby but didn't work well in the room. It would be better to have a double bed instead of two single beds pushed together.

A sea-front hotel, and the room balcony had a nice sea view from the side. The room was larger than expected. Very basic facilities but the fridge is a big plus. The staff was nice and friendly. Marathon-related and other sites (museum, tumulus, etc.) can be visited easily. I used a taxi (11 EUR) to the archaeological museum and walked back while stopping by other places like Helladic Cemetery, Tumulus, and Sanctuary of Egyptian Goods.

The staff were lovely and the hotel was very clean. The cleaner arrived daily and my sheets and towels were changed on a regular basis. Plenty of sun loungers and chairs around the pool. Great area across from the beach and with lots of restaurants in walking distance.

There is nothing i didnt like. Yes it may be a little old fashioned and you need to bring your own toiletries and beach towels but for the cost I paid it was just what I required. I would definitely book again

actually I think it’s a great place, not luxurious but well maintained. It seemed to me that the room was freshly painted, the mattress was comfortable and the under the pillowcase the pillows were bright white, they had cotton with bamboo sheets and towels. The elevator is brand new or renovated (I am not an expert). I arrived late at night, but the receptionist came immediately outside to help me with the luggage and welcome me. While I was filling out the paperwork, Fotis (the receptionist) provided me with anti mosquito tablets and the heater for them. Later I had a need for an extension cord and he provided me with one. Also, during early September is extremely pleasant to sleep with the blinds closed on open windows, but there was a properly functioning air conditioner. Actually the shower cabin was a bit claustrophobic, but if you don’t close the shower doors it’s fine, the water was very hot and plenty for long showers. The staff was very nice, friendly and most of all they didn’t engaged me with small talks (because I hate those kinds of conversations), except to ask me if I needed anything and if it was a suitable time for the housekeeping. The view from the room is unbelievable, only palms and the sea. Plenty of restaurants and bars are very close, if you want a quiet vacation and to enjoy the time at Athens you will like it. There is a good option for public transportation to Athens that costs 2,90€, stops right next to the metro station and it is very convenient to get to the centre of the city. On my way back from Athens to Nea Makri I was so happy to escape the constant traffic and noise that Athens is. Ευχαριστώ πολύ!

The hosts at Nireus were lovely. They accommodated my needs and helped me greatly. As a first time Solo traveller this place was perfect for me. Right by the sea and close to many amenities. Easy to get around.

I didn't like that the room was full of mosquitoes in the night which is not the hotels fault, and because it's an old building you can hear the neighbours. Still I loved it here.

The hotel is nextto the center and the environment is wonderful. The air contition has worked well. Friendly, and helpful staff.

At the weekend needed some parking place. It will be a good idea to mark the parking places. (Some hotel guest parking wrong way. Parked one car to two places.)

We were happy with everything because we love this style of fading grandeur. The beach corso is full of restaurants and street shops.

The swimming pool was dirty. One receptionist was super nice and helpful the other was giving me pretty sour impression.

The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. We arrived late, but no request was too much for them. They bent over backwards to make us comfortable. Also.loved that it's right by the sea.

Directions from airport wete tricky. Our driver struggled to get exact address on his device Furnitureand fittings are very old and not well maintained

The hotel is just facing the sea with a promenade in front of you, there are plenty of restaurant for you to choose. The breakfast is good and generous. The ground lobby is nicely decorated and there is a big swimming pool.

The finishes and furniture is a bit old and need refurbishment. There is a big swimming pool in this hotel, however it seems there is no filtration in operation, I can see there is a layer of dirt at the bottom of the pool so I have not used the swimming pool !

What a lovely place. The quiet has a very peaceful atmosphere perfect for relaxing and the rooms look right over the water with a sunrise view. The receptionists and whole team are so kind. Thank you!
