George, the host, has made our stay just wonderful. He saved us money and was so keen to help when we needed input (daily, for us!)… he even lent us car seats for the girls so we saved another 80 euros, he printed our return boarding cards, he lent me a cell phone gps holder for our rented car, he always suggested perfect locations that fit exactly with our needs and mood (e g « girls are tired and we just want a short ride, where do we go ?») He even gave us a gift for our departure and he waited for us with local handmade Greek cookies which we digged!… so overall, a great stay, and perfect location for religious and general tourism (st Ephraim 5 mins by car away, a local Nea Makri beach 3 mins away, st Nectarios on Eghina island is just breathtaking, (1hr to port Pireu then the ferry-boat) st John The Russian 2 hrs away, Rafina port super nice, 15 mins away (by car), Attika Zoo Park 30-40 min away, and the Acropolis 45min-1h away. Enjoy! We had a great vacation !

The apartment we stayed at was roomy yet very cosy, and spotlessly clean, so we felt right at home. It is furnished to comfortably accommodate families of up to six people, with plenty of beds, sofas, and two large dinner tables (one in the main room, one in the winter garden), plus a terrace area with outside seating, beach chairs, and swinging chairs. The kitchen is well-equipped (stove, oven, microwave, large fridge, kettle), providing enough plates, cutlery, and utensils to allow cooking your own meals (or ordering in without having to eat straight out of the containers). Clotheslines on the porch make it easy to dry beach towels and bathing suits over night. Wi-Fi and air conditioning worked flawlessly. Soap, shampoo, towels, and extra blankets are provided. For guests travelling with children, there are ample toys available for all ages, including board games. There are several apartments on the property, but they are generously spaced, so each of them is nicely secluded. Parking is right outside. The surrounding area is quiet, peaceful, and—according to the host—absolutely safe (which matches our experience). A 5-minute drive gets you to the beach. Communication with the host, George, was swift and easy. Ahead of our stay, he made sure we would have no trouble finding the place, and was very accommodating regarding the check-in time. When we arrived, he welcomed us with open arms and fresh fruit (of which he provided more the next day!), showed us around the apartment and property, and helped us settle in. George is one of the warmest, most hospitable people we have had the pleasure of encountering during our journeys. Friendly, kind, knowledgeable about the area (his beach recommendation was spot-on), and happy to make his guests’ stay as pleasant and special as possible, always with a smile. The host's cordiality and helpfulness touched us in particular! Thank you so much! Both rooms had air heat pumps, we used them especially to remove moisture. The draft and glazed porch made it easier to stay in the apartment on warm evenings. The doors had good nets to repel insects. The car could be parked off the street. The location of the place was excellent for our needs. The tap water was drinkable. The apartment had WiFi.

The mattresses on the beds were too hard for both an adult and a child. Mattress protectors would maybe soften a little, I recommend trying it. The quilt on the double bed was abrasive polyester. We slept intermittently for all six nights. The apartment was decorated with children's soft and plastic toys - too much miscellaneous stuff for our taste. Perhaps a more suitable milieu for families with small children. Amidst the abundance of goods, we still missed a hand mirror, scissors and a working electric water kettle.

First of all the host, Iorgos, was the most pleasant and peaceful person I ever met as a host. He supplied us with all our needs, even extra, with fruits. The house felt familiar with full personality having a loving terrace. The location is perfect for families with kids. Very quiet area. George is very kind person, he was very hospitable and generous. He treated us with great kindness. We recommend every family with children to try staying at Villa George. The place is quiet and close to the beach. Lots of restaurants and supermarkets there. It was a great vacation by all standards 🤩

Is like HOME;George,the owner is an amazing man,very friendly,helpful and kind. the location is EXCEPTIONAL;is near to everything especially to Saint Efraim Monastery. George is such an inspiration person,full of energy of positivity and joy.He makes you to feel part of the family. He picked up me from the Athens airport and in the next day he dropped me to Saint Efraim Monastery. The property was fantastic, very clean and tidy. Lots of space and comfortable beds. The stay was great, the best host that I have ever met. Very helpful and kind. I would recommend this place to everyone who is looking for a place to stay in Greece.

The best thing about Villa George is ... George :) great host, who will make your stay in Nea Makri unforgettable❤️very helpful and always there to make you smile. It's a nice place to stay for a few days when in Nea Makri, very close to the St. Ephraim Monastery, not so far from the seaside. For us it was a good place to stay during a festival.

For some the interior might be slightly overwhelming with all the small details but I think it had its own, positive vibe :)

Mr George, the host is just our family 💕. We came to Nea Makri every year already and it’s just lovely to be back and feel like home. We love everything about the place , location and host . We highly recommend Villa George to everyone and for sure it will be an unique experience for you !
