The room was spacious and comfortable, maintained to a high standard of cleanliness. The breakfast was satisfying, and the on-site restaurants offered quality food.

The town appears to be poorly maintained, with significant cleanliness issues and a noticeable presence of stray animals, many of which are unsterilized and pregnant. This situation is quite disheartening and can significantly diminish the overall holiday experience.

I recently stayed at Sokratis Hotel, and it exceeded my expectations! From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the high standard of cleanliness of the hotel. The rooms were spotless, and the attention to detail in the housekeeping was remarkable. The staff at this hotel are truly exceptional. They were incredibly kind and accommodating, always ready with a smile and helpful advice on local attractions and dining options. Their warmth made my stay feel even more welcoming. The breakfast offered was a real highlight. There was a fantastic variety of fresh and delicious options. Location wise, the hotel is conveniently close to the beach, while the city center is just a short walk away, making it easy to explore local shops, restaurarnts, and cultural sites. There was free parking on site and usually it wasn't difficult to find a parking space. Overall, Sokratis Hotel provides an exceptional experience with its cleanliness, friendly staff, great breakfast, and prime location. I highly recommend it for anyone looking to enjoy a comfortable and relaxing vacation.

Great location, 5 minutes to the beach, the rooms were very clean and comfortable. We stayed in a familiy room, it consisted of 2 rooms, each with their own bathroom, which connected with an inside door. The host is very kind and responsive, helped us a lot for renting a car or taxi reservation. Will definitely recommend for stay.

Everything was perfect at this hotel. The room was comfortable, clean and very modern. The staff cleaned our room every day and changed the towels every day even though we stayed for 3 nights. The air conditioning was perfect! I am so thankful to Theodora who welcomed us so warm and was so kind and helpful. She made me feel like I am at my mothers home! We checked in at the afternoon and were so tired she served coffee refreshments toast and pancakes and she didn’t want to take even a cent for this. The breakfast is incredible and full of homemade food. The whole experience at that place made me feel I want to go there again. Me, my husband and our 3 year child haven’ t been to a hotel with such friendly staff and nice atmosphere!

The hotel is just perfect! It is very clean and comfortable because everything that you need is very close. The atmosphere in the hotel is very kind and friendly. Every morning you can enjoy the sweet surprises during your breakfast. The whole staff and especially Theodora are very friendly and positive. I sincerely recommend this hotel. The hotel is really nice, the rooms are clean and the staff is friendly and willing to help. The location is OK, 10 min walk to the beach, 10 min walk to the restaurants and taverns. A Daily bonus desert for breakfast.

Breakfast was good overall, but when staying for a longer period it can be limited and/or repetitive.

The suite was spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff incredible! The included breakfast was solid, we enjoyed it pretty much every morning :)

I wish the AC would work more consistently. It would always turn itself off after 2 hours. There is some limescale here and there, that should be sorted out.

The lady at the reception is very nice and welcoming. She upgraded our room 3 levels up because we were traveling with a small child. The breakfast is great with a lot of choices. There is parking places right in front of the hotel, which is very convenient.

The bathroom needs a bit of fix up. The shower's door couldn't be closed completely. And the shower head holder is all the way up next to the ceiling which cannot be reached or used. Other than this, all good!

We really enjoyed our stay. We had the family suite and it was definitely spacious enough for 4 people and equipped with everything you need, super comfy beds, a/c, big bathroom, tiny kitchenette and a big balcony. The staff was always super friendly and helpful and everything was very clean. The included breakfast is a cherry on top. You have the typical breakfast items and on top of that every day freshly baked goods. Theodora, the owner of this great place is super communicative and truly cares about her guests. She will always pack you breakfast items for a lunch snack later and as well she prepared us a big food package for our drive back home. The next plus is that the hotel is somehow at the edge of the city, so parking is no issue, while on the same time you can walk to the beach and the city centre within a few minutes. We truly loved it here and we'll definitely come back!

The only minus would maybe be that one room in the family suite had no own a/c, so you have to leave the door open to use the hallway one. So, this may be distracting if you're a light sleeper as the suite's hallway maybe used by family members for nightly toilet visits. For us it was no issue though.
