The hotel is set in an olive grove and the entrance is resplendent with bougainvillea. The pool was a great option when one wanted to cool off instead of going to the beach. Breakfast was tasty, filling, and nutritious. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Hotel Marina Village was excellent value for money and I would highly recommend it to others. Palaikastro is an unspoiled part of Greece that I would definitely like to visit again.

Good quality furnishings, excellent design with lots of shady corners.. Delightful pool and isolated setting create a peace and harmony amidst the olive groves. Really friendly, helpful and unintrusive staff. Great beaches close by, but also worth travelling a little (Kato Zakros was simply amazing). Palekastro town is lovely, Old Crete with an identity not defined by tourism. Seek out Maria at the Wellness/Massage clinic too.

Rooms were small (but how long do you spend in your room?), and dated, but as previously indicated, good quality.

Very pleasant place surrounded by olive trees, just outside a small village that can be reached by foot in few minutes thanks to a private passage. The room was big and clean, with a nice balcony and comfy beds. The staff was always really kind, welcomed us with a drink near the swimming pool and gave us suggestions for dinner. Good breakfast in the patio outside, with coffee, cake and fruit, greek yogurt, boiled eggs, and much more. The position is perfect for reaching the beatiful beaches nearby and visiting the east area. We really enjoyed our days here and would definitely recommend it.

All was perfect, just a suggestion: a small drying rack could be nice for hanging wet swimming suits

Our stay at Hotel Marina Village was amazing. The location was perfect, close to all the beaches around and to the village but also very secluded. The staff were very welcoming and kind. To our surprise there was a tennis court in the property. It was definitely the perfect choice for a relaxing trip.

Spaciaus rooms, very clean, comfortable beds, room does not get hot during the day (july, august +30 and above outside) no critical need for AC. Away from road, quiet.

Very well positioned, close to the sea, big and clean rooms, air conditioning, parking in front of the room, nice warm pool, good breakfast, friendly manager. Everything you can ask for. We are a family of 2 adults and 2 children. Really enjoyed our stay!

They did not have everything (it is a small hotel) but everything they do have is very good quality. Fresh food, home-baked cake, lovely meze to go with a drink. Also, knowledgeable advise for things to do. And last but certainly not least: the friendliness of the two brothers who run the place!

The only thing that was missing was a drying rack for towels and swimsuits on the balcony

The host, he was absolutely lovely into the details, very caring and helpful in regard to the road to take and we went to Voila village an old village up to the hill. A beauty, I can recommended - thank you, 🙏🏼

Beautiful garden & pool, quiet surroundings & excellent position to explore the area. Super friendly family that make you feel at home and are happy to give suggestions. Comfortable room with balcony. Great value.
