Itanos sits at a great spot in Sitia, with a good view of the sea, close to the restaurants (Zorba's is fantastic) and a short walk away from the bus stop and museum. It's pretty good in that regard.

When I went (during the off season) the room's cleaning was lacking, particularly on the balcony. Room service was good and made it ok, but still.

The hotel has its own parking area, about 300 mtrs away, and is located in the newly paved pedestrian area of the port. Near to shops and restaurants. Has it’s own restaurant and rooftop pool bar

The breakfast room although functional could be made more comfortable and welcoming with the addition of different tables and chairs, instead of the refectory type that are currently in use

The location was excellent, as the hotel's position on the waterfront of the city allowed direct access to the city centre, which was in close proximity. Great selection of shops for coffee and food, easy access to the town's airport, perfect for a relaxing stay in Sitia.

I can't find anything I can describe as negative. Of course you can always, if you look hard enough, add something, I would say maybe a few more options to the breakfast. I personally needed certain things, and I found them, but that of course, is a purely subjective opinion. The hotel met my requirements and I am very happy.

The breakfast was rich, the staff was friendly and helpful with anything you might need. Their restaurant, called Thalassa. offers very good prices and has a perfect roof bar with an amazing view! Thank you ITANOS!

The shower could be a bit better!

Great place to stay. Sea View room wonderful. Room clean and very comfortable. Location excellent. We visited in the winter when the rooftop wasn’t open so will have to come again and experience that but it looks amazing! All the staff friendly and extremely helpful, lovely continental breakfast to start the day. We will come back for sure!

Booked for 1 night ended up staying 3 nights . Off season March , weather was very good +17 to + 20 sunny every day , no crowds . Hotels and car rentals much cheaper. Hotel gave me harbor view room at no extra charge. Steps from restarants , shopping and harbor.

Hotel like others in Sitia was a bit dated but it was clean and everything you basically needed was there . More important was every body was very accommodating and friendly.

Location was excellent, breakfast was good, staff were excellent, overall the hotel was clean and comfortable and as my wife is disabled they couldn't have done more for us.

We only stayed one night before flying out of Sitia. The room was a bit small with double and single beds but ok for one night. Clean, staff are nice and roof top bar has a great view.

The roof top pool is very small and a tired space. We decided not to use it.

Reception staff wonderful at check in. We were going to miss breakfast due to our ferry schedule, but he had it waiting for us when we left. Very kind. Location perfect. Hotel had a nice restaurant across the street on the harbor and ice cream bar in lobby. Room minimalist and dated but fine.

Rooms could be updated.

Overall it was a'great place to stay with friendly staff and good location. Rooms were clean

The bathroom/shower was very small with plastic curtain around an area on the floor. Not much room to move. Wasn't ventilated except for tiny open slot at the top. The fridge and air conditioning didn't work until keys put in slot. It would have been nice to have cold water in the fridge on arrival and a cold fridge.
