Everything was lovely in Tholos. Spacious, spotless room with beautiful views from the balcony, excellent hospitality and care of all staff members, and amazingly delicious food. AC works great too and so does the wifi. Couldn’t ask for more! Highly recommended, great value for money. Also, there are two friendly small dogs at the property and the beach is close by. I hope to return soon!

We decided to book this appartment pricewise since it was one of the cheapest in Crete. We also knew that the nearby beach is quiet with an exotic sense.. The room was bigger than we ecpected . All areas and linen were very clean and neat. It is located in a very quiet area with breathtaking views of the olive grove and tholos gulf. Giannis the owner, is the representation of the authentic cretan hospitality. He was always welcoming us with kindness and even almost insisting to sit with him with his company and enjoy the local delicacies and drinks they were enjoying. Giannis runs additionally a little quet restaurant near the reception which as we found out is a meeting place for locals with low prices and excellent quality. The handmade stone baked pizza is for sure a must to try. We enjoyed our stay so much that we even booked to return back ... next week for 3 more days! We hope the prices and the hospitality stay the same the years to come in a world that vacations become more and more not affordable.

The room we stayed in had everything as expected. Our room had nice views and the hosts were very helpful. It’s a 15min walk to the village where you can find a couple of cafes/restaurants. Tholos Beach was one of the nicest beaches of our stay, so the location is superb, especially if you prefer peace and quiet away from the touristy spots. We really feel like we got an authentic Cretan experience staying here.

The mattresses on the beds felt like they could be in need of an upgrade, but other than that everything was perfect.

Great location, close the famous Beach Tholos and many archeological sites and surrounded by tourist attractions. The restaurant downstairs offers tasty traditional dinner options and wooden oven pizza!

Coffee machine in the restaurant was broken, so the breakfast was gathered elsewhere. Also the fridge is very old and scary, so don't count on any sort of kitchen in the room.

It was great to be able to reach the beach in just one minute and enjoy a very picturesque quiet place. Also, the silence and stars at night were literally something out of this world!

It would be great to have softer matrasses and to have the floor cleaned every 3 days (we stayed for 5 nights and the floor was pretty dirty with sand)

Very quiet. No one bothers you unless when being helpful to your requests. Absolute silence ...you can fully relax. There is a dining area .. you can see foid being cooked in the wood burning oven.

Great value and very beautiful location with a sea view. Modest accommodations but quite beautiful and good location. Kavousi village is a great place to chill and enjoy authentic Crete there’s not many tourists there. I would definitely come back

Nothing it was great

Located off the main road and surrounded by olive trees, so it is quiet and has its charms.

The shower curtain was about 20cm too short and so water splashed all over the bathroom floor.

Great location. Very beautiful surroundings. The host and staff made you feel like family. Will definitely book Tholos Rooms again.

Beds could be a little softer but definitely was able to get a full night's sleep.

I loved this place. Such a nice view from balcony and so peaceful and quiet. Spacious and comfortable room. Nice family owned place with good restaurant. Room had fridge , however no kettle but in the Kavousi village are 2 cafes for good morning coffee. Good wifi for such a remote place. Its a great place for walks in mountains or one can walk the road down to Tholos Beach
