I recently stayed at Galaxy City Center Hotel in Patra and had a pleasant experience. The hotel is located right in the heart of the city, close to the shopping mall and main square, which makes it very convenient for exploring the area. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable, offering a relaxing space to rest after a day of sightseeing. From the hotel, I could easily walk around and enjoy the town center of Patra.

Hotel does not have its own parking lot, but there is a public parking area available at the old port nearby. However, it can be quite crowded, especially during busy hours.

Helpful staff. Kettle on request at booking. Clean room, comfortable large bed, balcony, fridge with water supplied. Lift to all floors. No steps. Buffet breakfast 5 euro great value with good choice of hot and cold food. Will always use this hotel for Patras visits. Close to the ferry port so it is ideal for hopping over to Kefalonia. Also no problem later check out to tie in with ferry. Luggage storage. Great value.

Next time I will understand that kettle in room on request means just the kettle, no cups or supplies. Not a problem but my morning cup of tea is important to me.

The location of the hotel provided access to the city center, making it easy and convenient to walk around the city and reach popular locations of the city by foot. Bus stations and car parking spots were also relatively close to the hotel. The room was clean and the hotel provided a sumptuous breakfast to start the day. The bed was also very comfortable and restful.

Apart from the sound insulation in the room which sometimes made it easy to hear noises coming from the hotel corridors and other hotel rooms during the night and early in the morning, I can't think of any other negative remark about the room and the hotel in general.

This was our second visit to Galaxy, it will be our go to hotel in Patras for sure. It is so modern and pleasant, great views over the city and the gulf from our room both times. Lovely shower and nice to be able to have breakfast on the terrace overlooking the bustling street. Staff very friendly and helpful.

It was very noisy in the morning - think the room above us was being cleaned and all the noise carried.

Breakfast was good. The people at the desk were most pleasant and helpful. The hotel was an easy walk from the bus station and a 2 minutes walk to the ferry to Kefalonia. Nice-sized, clean room with a comfortable bed and nice balcony.

The shower was nice but very slippery. There is an overhang above the head of the bed which is a hazard - we each banged our head on it more than once. Be careful!!! Good for a night but this area of Patras is very busy - not really a good area for relaxation.

We had a brief overnight stay, but it was a great hotel in the centre of Patra. Very helpful and friendly owner. One of the most comfortable beds we had in 10 weeks in Greece! The location was close to bars, cafes and restaurants.

A bit of a panic when we realised there was no parking onsite or on the street, but the owner showed us free parking about 200m from the hotel.

Wonderful, comfortable clean bed in a cosy room. Very quiet inside and hotel could not be in a better location for shops, castle and all amenities. Very good choice for breakfast of hot and cold items. Nice filter coffee too. Excellent value for money. The receptionist provided me with a kettle for my room upon asking.

A good basic hotel in a very central location. The gentleman at the front desk was very polite and helpful.

The towels seemed a bit overused and the mini fridge didn't work, but we didn't mention it since we only stayed for one night. As an improvement, it would be nice to have a small table and some chairs on the balcony.

We had a family room which was fantastic It was two adjoined dbl ensuite rooms with a connecting space on the outside which essentially gave you an extra space to place your luggage etc. Good wifi Good shower pressure and amenties Very helpful staff especially Panagiotis who went above and beyind the call of duty in helping us as we made adjustments to our journey. This man deserves a medal. Location was very central within easy access to all the shops, bars, restos, train station etc I would definitely reccomend this hotel.

We cannot fault the hotel for what it is. Everything was as expected and for the price really quite reasonable. If there was anything to complain about it would be the actual city at that time of the year (Aug 1-15) a lot of places shut down and run off for their summer holidays. So try and avoid this period if there for touristic reasons. I imagine especially when the students are back in town it can be a lively and buzzing city.

Overall, I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Patras. With its prime location, delicious breakfast, and well-appointed rooms, it offers a fantastic experience for travelers.
