excellent breakfast in a well lit area looking on to the street with mainly cold choices (from what I remember) but all excellent; reasonable hours for breakfast; the hotel room was a fair size with a balcony looking out on to the street to match it; quiet area despite the proximity to the central area; reasonably close to metro stop (10 minute walk at most) and a trip from door of hotel to the Acropolis is almost a 45 minute trip but the price point is well worth it especially if you are leaving Piraeus via ship; grocery nearby (closed Sundays); fridge; friendly staff at all times of day and I liked that it was a small hotel and all the guests were very quiet and respectful while moving around the common areas but otherwise earplugs are always recommended if you are a light sleeper

I always felt unsure if I could actually lock the sliding doors to the balcony from the inside; lighting in the bathroom could have been brighter; the single biggest issue was that I had to remember that the toilet lid and seat did not ever stay in the up position but I managed to find a workaround but not everyone will

Always a pleasure to stay at this hotel. It’s in a great location, close by Zeas Marina and all it’s attractions, and a short 15 minute stroll from the main port, or a 7 euro taxi ride. The airport bus is round the corner and you can pay the driver on the bus. The rooms are comfortable, we had a big balcony this time. It is very clean in all areas of the hotel, and there are nice toiletries in the room. It has a comfortable lobby area and a good breakfast is included in the room price. The staff are super friendly and will help with anything you want, or with any information. A main pedestrianised shopping area (Sotiros Dios Street) is also very close, with fabulous shops. There are lots of restaurants and bars of all types nearby. We will always look to stay at Lilia when in Piraeus.

I had a lovely experience at the hotel, the room was cute and comfy, the location is perfect for walks on the waterfront and it's near many restaurants. The young woman at the front desk was superb. The big port is only a few moments away by car. Will recommend.

The only complaint I have is that an older gentleman in charge of breakfast was obviously ill, sneezing continuously, and I never saw him wash his hands, because I watched for it. As a veteran of the hospitality industry, it is common knowledge that illness and food handling do not mix. With everything we know about the ease of transmission of disease, and best practices in food service, I was a little grossed out, and he should know better.

Lilia Hotel is a family run property that deserves a higher star rating. Great location with a multitude of eating and drinking options only minutes walk away. Close to bus and metro connections to Athens City or Athens Airport. 15 minute walk to Ferries for the numerous Greek Islands offering inexpensive travel options for day trips. Literally just a few minutes away from Pasalimani/Zeas Harbour, encircled with restaurants and cafes or a short walk to Mikrolimano for a more upmarket feel of dining options. Alternatively, the bustling port city of Piraeus is just 15 mins walk with all of its Upmarket shopping and restaurants both modern and traditional. Breakfast was adequate and the staff very attentive. They are happy to make a cappuccino or latte instead of the normal fare of black coffee or tea which was refreshing. Our room was spacious, with a balcony, which we used on a number of occasions with a glass of wine or an Ouzo or two. We also had plenty of storage for our 4 suitcases and 2 backpacks. The cleaning staff rate a mention as they do a magnificent job keeping the rooms clean and tidy. I’m a bit of an Air Con cleanliness freak and upon inspection of our unit, I found it spotlessly clean, to the point that there was not a trace of dust inside. All of the reception staff were very friendly and super helpful with suggestions for sightseeing and connections to Athens as we were staying on for 9 nights. They were happy to book a tour to Cape Sounion on our last day in Piraeus which went off without a hitch, getting us some memorable sunset pics at the Temple of Poseidon.

Our bed was a little hard for our liking, especially after a week sleeping on it. Safe was not secured to anything which was a concern for us so we didn’t use it. Hot eggs would be a welcome addition to breakfast.

The hotel has a great location — right next to the metro and close to the port. That’s exactly why we chose it, as we needed to get to the port early in the morning, and it was only a 15-minute walk. Super convenient! We also appreciated that breakfast was included. The staff were very friendly and welcoming — the front desk works 24/7, so no matter what time you arrive, they’re ready to greet you with a smile.

We booked a triple room with three separate beds, as shown in the photos, but in reality there were two beds and one small extra folding bed. It didn’t match the pictures. The room felt small and tight for three people. However, we were tired and only needed to stay for one night, so it was okay.

I loved everything about this hotel! The room & bathroom were perfectly appointed and the staff exceptionally friendly and helpful They even helped me print out my ferry ticket. At first I thought I had made a mistake by booking too far from the main port of Piraeus -- the nearby circular yacht harbor is not the main port. But it turned out the taxi ride there is quick and cheap. What's more, the hotel is so thoughtful that they start serving an excellent breakfast at 6:00 a.m., knowing that many of the island ferries depart early. In the hotel trade this is unusual!

Friendly and helpful staff, delicious and plentiful breakfast - continental style but lots of choices. We liked the little balcony and having a lift to get luggage up to our room. It was also close enough to the port for a 15 min walk or a short taxi ride of about 10 Euros.

It would have been good to have tea and coffee in the room but on request we were able to borrow a kettle to make a cup of tea. Much appreciated!

Easy to check in. Reception staff was funny and cracking jokes after midnight which was nice after a long day of travel. Was informative about breakfast and room information. The room was just what we needed for the night. We had a balcony which was nice we could hang out towels outside to dry over night. Had soap and shampoo in bathroom. A main towel and a hand towel and a face cloth. Well thought out and easy. Breakfast was decent. Cereal. Buns. Toast. Cold meats. Boiled eggs. Orange juice. Coffee. Milk. Butter. Spreads. Uber to port was 6 euro.

The staff were wonderfully helpful and the breakfast was delicious and filling. The location was perfect for getting to all of the ports and inlets. The gelato shops and restaurants were within easy walking distance. They let us leave our bags in the lobby on our last day after check out while we went out and booked us a cab for the airport later that afternoon when we came back.

The room was small for the 4 of us and the elevator could only fit two of us at a time with our luggage. Minor things but worth noting if you book.

For plus: Good price to quality. Good localisation You can order food from city restaurants to Your room. The room was cleaned every day. For minus: A small selection of breakfast products (every day the same). We got little bit different room than this shown on photos (in description of our room). Thin walls (You can hear people from other rooms) A kettle in the room would be a great solution...
