We were upgraded to a suite, and the room was amazing. The location, the beach, the bar at the beach, the restaurant and the breakfast buffet.

The hotel has only one pool with 2 bassins and was closed few hours everyday due to fecal discharged from child, isn’t the fault of the hotel, but the hotel should dissociate the pool in 2 completed and separated areas for adult and child.

Insanely helpful staff - they truly tried their best with everything. The beach was incredible. Relaxed atmosphere, good number of food options for lunches and dinners.

The pillows were too hard and it would have been nice to be able to control the temperature in the room (it was slightly warmer than we wanted).

Everything was just excellent! Perfect service, chill out bars and delicious restaurants. We have tried also buffet which was very high quality. Nice atmosphere for couples and families as well. The grecoland for kids is a big highlight.

We stayed at the hotel over the Easter week, the very beginning of the summer season, and couldn’t be more impressed with how smoothly the hotel was running! The hotel is well-designed and spacious, there are plenty of social areas for family chit chat and cute alleys for taking a walk. We loved seeing all the palm trees and hearing birds chirping throughout the day. The staff at the hotel were super friendly, without an exception, and genuinely interested in helping guests have a great time. There are two swimming pools to choose from: one for kids with slides, another one for adults, and a carefully maintained beach with lazy chairs and a beach bar. The restaurant is great and operates very efficiently, we never had to wait for more than 5 minutes to get seated, even during the peak time. And I don’t need to tell you all how amazing the Cretan cuisine is. In short, this is an absolute gem of a place to stay in!

I would recommend improving the gym since it has only a very basic equipment right now and could benefit from sprucing up. Other than that, all was great.

Really pleased with the staff - everyone was helpful, friendly, courteous, and responded quickly to requests. Location was fine - easy access to the beach, Beach bar was very good Good facilities, great little shops on site including a mini market Wonderful breakfasts, although the queue for the fresh egg station took 15-20 mins twice Very clean everywhere, very well looked after, good maintenance and condition.

The pool and poolside are a bit undersized for the number of guests. We were there 5 days in May and every sunbed was taken by 10am every day, so we went to the beach instead and didn't use that pool at all. The car park was too small - one evening we had to park outside the hotel grounds. Not a big deal, but disappointing The sea view - we paid 30 euro per night for a sea view which was barely a glimpse. see photo. Disappointing that I did not get anything worth having for my money. We really didn't to move rooms so didn't ask.

- The water sport club. We wanted to do jet-ski/ parasailing / crazy sofa....(these activities take max 15 min). During the day the sea was a bit agitated, so we were not allowed to do anything for safety reasons. Fine. Later, when the sea was very calm they wouldn't let us do anything as they said they needed to close. That was at 16:45-17:00 even though they were closing at 18:00. Disappointed. - Indoor pool needs a serious renovation

We really liked that the hotel was large enough but still compact — everything was within walking distance without being tiring. Unexpectedly, there was also a lunch buffet and snacks included for kids, which made things so much easier for us. The room was very spacious and the bed was incredibly comfortable. We also really enjoyed the beach and the beach bar; the area was wide and never felt crowded.

Everything was great overall, but the kids’ pool was surprisingly deep, which didn’t feel very safe for younger children. Also, the area with the water slides could have been better designed or more engaging.

Had a lovely stay with my wife and two young kids. The staff were extremely professional and helpful. They accommodated our request for an earlier check in and even gave us a complimentary room upgrade. There were lots of small touches that made our stay very pleasant such as complimentary champagne / wine in our room, welcome drinks, etc. We made use of a number of the hotel’s facilities including the main restaurant, the gym, pool and the kids club and were very happy with everything. We look forward to staying here again the next time we are in Crete.

The hospitality and all the staff were amazing. A beautiful resort that is kept impeccably clean. A big thank you to the lovely front desk manager and Nikos, the Assistant General Manager who personally upgraded us to a garden villa with pool..a surprising and very gracious offer. We could not have had a better finish to our holiday. Everyone is so nice and welcoming at all levels from managers to waiters. We had a fabulous stay. Also a big thank you to Spiros who supplied us with water and fruit every day in the cabana. A big hotel chain that delivers on wonderful hospitality, food and service. The food is fabulous, fresh and lots of variety. The buffets never ran out of food and was constantly replenished with made to order omelettes for breakfast also. If you ask for a cup of coffee, they bring you a carafe. One minor area for improvement... felt the sauna and spa areas could be bigger for the size of the hotel. All else is of a very high standard. It was also nice to do the free yoga classes which were great..thankyou Cleopatra. There are lots of complimentary exercise classes to try almost every hour...6 days a week. We loved our stay and look forward to returning and or trying another Grecotel hotel if this one is anything to go by. They over delivered in a lot of respects and go out of their way to accommodate you and make you feel welcome. A wonderful experience all up.

Beautiful hotel in a beautiful location with incredibly friendly and attentive staff and excellent food. We appreciated the upgrade to our room and generous offer of wine.
