- the pool area was exceptional, and very clean. - daytime activities were very good, including water yoga, darts, volleyball! - the food at poolside restaurant was very reasonably priced & tasted good - breakfast was above average I would say. Maybe some variety with pastries. Bacon & Sausages weren’t great, but you’d always struggle to get nice bacon abroad. - night-time buffet was very reasonably priced. The food was well worth the money. - staff were very attentive and friendly. From reception, to poolside to the cleaners. Special mention to Vana in the main restaurant, exceptional service. - whilst i did not do any excursions, there are plenty available, with pickup right outside reception - well stocked mini-market, albeit slightly overpriced, but expected. - for families, I would say a car would be needed, as you’re a nice bit away from supermarkets etc. - the room was decent, with a fridge too. - bus stop 2 minute walk away - the grounds are well maintained - cleaners were in every day, made beds, changed towels etc & even folded clothes one day!

- ants in bathroom, couldn’t complain too much - communal walkways were a bit uneven, so wouldn’t be suitable for people with mobility issues. - sun beds were a small bit scarce, but there are more located nearer to the beach and behind volleyball area, which I only discovered on last day. - bit of an unusual complaint, but personally with my room (632), there was a big gap underneath the main door to the room, which meant you had light coming in under it during the night from outside. Wasn’t a big deal, but just something i noticed.

The cleaners did an excellent job and kept the room spotless. The room itself was spacious, the beds were comfortable (though it was two singles pushed together rather than a true double), and the air conditioning worked well. The bathroom was a little tired in appearance but functional. The pool and pool bar were pleasant, and despite the pool area being busy, I could always find a sunbed. There was background music, but it didn’t affect relaxation. The hotel’s proximity to the bus stop made travelling to Rhodes Old Town and Faliraki very easy. Staff were helpful; they booked my return taxi to the airport, assisted with arranging the Lindos boat trip, and kindly allowed a one-hour late checkout. The sea view was nice, although it required stepping onto the balcony to enjoy fully (the room was side-on to the sea, so more of a partial sea view).

Breakfast was average for a 3-star level rather than what I’d expect of a 4-star hotel; the coffee was poor quality and service finished at 10:00am, whereas extending to 11:00am would suit folks who want to sleep in. I was also surprised that pool towels required a deposit rather than being complimentary. The cocktails were very disappointing; best to stick to beer or wine at the bar.

The pool, the views and the friendly staff

Room was pretty dirty. We saw someone else’s nickers under the bed. After the second say we kept getting hand towels to dry ourselves.

Nice facilities, great view, good value, nice staff. Was nicer than we expected given quite a good price. We rented a scooter (from the hotel, really good service) and went to some of the beaches to the South, which were terrific, but the pool at the hotel was nice too. Decent breakfast. Recommend going up the hill to Koskinou for a meal, some nice restaurants in the quiet little pedestrian alleys.

Some other guests were kind of noisy, that was the only annoyance, but not every night. Rooms a bit tired, but view and value made up for it.

Perfect place to relax and recharge, as there’s not much to do on walking distance. If you want to explore the Old Town or other areas, the reception can always call a taxi. But the hotel has everything one needs (from massage to gym) so I would come back for a relaxing, “dolce far niente” time. The staff were amazing. Vicky and Arta from the pool restaurant Sam, Eleni (and a sweet lady who’s name I didn’t remember) from the reception, Mihalis and Giorgos from the pool bar, Antonis from breakfast , Augustin and Zino from the animation team; just to name a few. They were great. Always smiling and willing to help. Making one feel like the only thing that one has to do here is to relax. I hope they are treated by the management and by clients as good as they are treating their guests.

The location is great, easy access to the old and new town of Rhodes by rented car. Located on the east side if the island, comfortable driving distance to all major locations and beaches. Staff was very nice. Breakfast was standard.

The wifi internet in rooms is very poor. We had 5 beds in the room but only recived warm bedding for 4, dispite asking the reception over and over. when returning to the hotel in the late evening the hotel parking spaces are all full and we had to improvise parking with in the parking lot.

The staff were very kind and welcoming, which made a big difference during our visit. The price is reasonable, and the breakfast was fine. The location is also great – only about 15 minutes from Rhodes town, which made getting around easy and stress-free.

The rooms could benefit from some updates, especially the bathrooms. We experienced low water pressure throughout our stay, which made showering a bit difficult. The bathroom setup is not very child-friendly – the sinks are quite high, and the soap dispensers are mounted too far up for younger children. The doors are not soundproof, and we were woken up a few times during the night by other guests walking in the hallway and speaking loudly on the marble floors. The pillows were almost non-existent, but when we asked for better ones, the staff kindly provided them. It would also be great to see more comfortable sunbeds and moveable umbrellas by the pool.

Our stay at Kristen Palace was more than just a vacation – it was a deeply moving and heartwarming experience that we will never forget. From the moment we arrived, we were embraced with kindness and care that went far beyond anything we could have imagined. Due to circumstances back home, we found ourselves stuck in Rhodes – and the team at Kristen Palace became our second family. Helena, the hotel manager, is an absolute angel. She helped us with everything – from upgraded rooms to emotional support – always with grace, patience, and genuine concern. Her professionalism is matched only by her heart. Nana at reception was also incredible – always smiling, helpful, and welcoming. She made us feel safe, seen, and cared for. Even in the mini market, the manager was so kind and thoughtful, always checking in on us and even asking about our family back home. We have stayed in many hotels around the world, but nothing compares to the human warmth and generosity we experienced here. We highly recommend Kristen Palace to anyone visiting Rhodes – you won't just find a place to sleep, you'll find a home away from home. Forever grateful, Cohen Duiker families

Very nice, big hotel with lots of facilities. Large pool and plenty of things for the kids (kids pool area, kids club, gaming room). Also, the staff were very helpful and friendly like Mrs Nena at the reception, and the waiters at the restaurant and pool area. The food was quite good both at breakfast and at dinner time with a lot of options. Moreover, the mini-market in the hotel was very convenient for us.

The hotel needs a renovation and definitely more cleaning. Every afternoon, the halls in the outer building were full of leaves because of the wind, and there were a lot of spider webs here and there. Also, the floors in the rooms weren't so clean nor were the balconies. Another thing was that since the hotel was full, every morning at breakfast there was lack of cups and glasses and you had to wait to find one.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel and want to express our gratitude to the entire hotel staff for their excellent work. The hotel exceeded all our expectations: excellent service, cozy and well-maintained grounds, and beautiful design. We especially want to highlight the work of the staff, who were always friendly and ready to help. The breakfast was very good, and the private pool added a special charm to our stay. We were also pleasantly surprised by the room upgrade, which made our stay even more comfortable. We recommend to visit Kallithea bay (near Restaurant The Roc). It is just 10 min walk from the hotel but it is one of the most beautiful in the island (believe us we took a boat and explored all the bays in Rhodes :-)) There is also free tennis court that we used every day. We are very happy with our choice and will definitely return here again. Thank you so much for a wonderful time!
