Great location, clean, cheap. Pleasant staff. Big shout out to the English girl who advised me to get a bus to the airport from the main bus station, i might've missed my flight if i went to some other station as the bus was packed and noone could enter at the next stop.

Bathrooms are rather impractical, nowhere to leave your stuff. There were also beds in what was a kitchen in our dorm, which was basically a 2 room apartment.

The staff were super lovely! Made me feel at ease straight away. As a solo female, it's always quite daunting travelling, especially abroad, but I felt so safe. The female at reception also showed me to my room- on the way to the room, we were chatting, I mentioned that it was my birthday and she said "OMG whattt! It's mine tomorrow!"- just super friendly. The hostel hosts different things each night (so one night is karaoke, another would be pasta night- which was yum), but one of the things they offered was a sunset sail boat trip. When I tell you, how incredible it was. It was 25euros, and transfer from the hostel to the marina was provided, a drink was provided and I got to meet a group of lovely fellow solo travellers. We were taken- on the sailing boat- to a lovely bay, where we had fair amount of time to have a swim around (pretty sure we had a whole hour), then once back on board, were given a drink. On the sail back to the marina, we watched the sunset and listened to music (I'll see if I can find some photo's to attach). Just good vibes. The communication from the hostel, was also brilliant. I'd even contacted them prior to my arrival, to see if they'd be able to offer advice on how to travel from bus from the airport to the property and they promptly sent step by step instructions/tips. Just fabulous! The location of the hostel was also ideal. To walk to the beach (a bit where you can plonk your towel/rent a sunbed and have a swim, probably took 10/15 mins). There's shops/restaurants all around- whether you're wanting snacky bits, meals out, drinks or a full on shopping marathon, there's everything. STAY also provided free aircon, fan, WI-FI (great WI-FI as well) etc. So good.

Soooo, the only thing that would potentially prevent me from staying again would be the sound of the doors closing- because the rooms within the hostel are pretty echoey, you can constantly hear doors banging (you have to pull the door and close it pretty hard to lock it). If STAY would be able to change the locking system to something like key cards, or just something quieter, I would be back in a heart beat. I had to go to sleep wearing earphones (I am a pretty light sleeper though). The person staying next to my private room was also out on our shared balcony until gone 3am every night talking loudly (but this obviously isn't STAY's fault, just you obviously don't know who you're going to be staying next to).

Amazing location with friendly atmosphere.. Kitchen facilities were quite good.. Meeting other travelers via social events was fun… 10-15 minutes walk to Elli beach and Old town..

No privacy at all in the rooms.. Our room was quite small and beds were way to close to each other.. no space even to walk around.. do not bring any big bags since there is no room to put them and the lockers were kind of small.. a bit overpriced in my point of view.. I am staying right now at my own big spacious studio in Rhodes town with a big terrace only for 350 euros for a week whereas I have paid 255 euros for 5 nights at a shared dormitory at this hostel..

Staff and location are probably unrivaled. Very relaxed and helpful. Available 24/7. Location is almost dead center of Rhodes Town. Everything is a short walk away.

The general access bathrooms are a little outdated, needs renewal. The ones in the dorms are nicer, but I quite small, especially the showers. Having a glass door instead of curtain could make both the shower and the bathroom feel bigger, and help keep the water from going all over the floor. Oh , and one of the dorm room doors was squeaking a little, making it hard to keep completely silent when entering the room at quiet hours.

Great hostel with a really social environment. Clean, convenient, nice staff, and the bar downstairs has a great atmosphere and a range of tasty, affordable food and drinks (on some evenings dinner free with a drink!). The activities organised are great and it's a really chilled and friendly atmosphere, easy to make friends. Highly recommended!

The rooms are clean and comfy but just note that the setup of the beds is on the ground and close to each other, so I would recommend girls to go for a female-only room, as mixed (which usually I'm totally fine with) could feel a little odd in this setup.

I stayed in the 6 bed female room and had such a great experience. The room was clean and comfortable, and I felt completely safe throughout my stay the hostel is staffed 24/7, which really gave me peace of mind. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always available if you needed anything. They also organized activities every night, a perfect way to meet new people and enjoy the social vibe without feeling pressured. I met some truly wonderful women in my room, and the hostel made it so easy to connect with others. Highly recommend STAY Rhodes if you're looking for a fun, safe, and welcoming place to stay in Rhodes. I'd definitely come back!

The aircon in the rooms worked really well ! And could be set to whatever temperature you wanted. The location is so convenient to the old town, wharf and bus stops. Doing a day trip to Lindos or Anthony Quinn Bay on the private busses here was also really convenient with only a 5 minute walk to the bus stops. The hostel can be social if that’s what you are looking for but it’s also easy to just keep to yourself in the bar area or kitchen. Kitchen had great facilities a full stove/oven area and loads of fridge space. The food and drinks at the bar downstairs are also amazing and very reasonably priced (they also do happy hours every night). The rooms were really clean and the staff were all super lovely and helpful!

The shower would flood the floor after being used but a mop is provided to get any extra water. However especially in the heat all that extra moisture made the bathroom incredibly humid and hot. But as soon as you go back into the air conditioning room it’s okay.

The atmosphere is quite social with friendly staff. The place is well kept and tidy. The pier, Ellis beach and old town are easily accessible on foot.

I booked for my whole stay spontaneously but I realised that it’s going to be difficult to drive around the city and then get out to drive towards the beaches (30-50 mins south of the island). It’s also difficult to find parking, as only street parking is available (and it’s in the middle of the busiest town in Rhodes). So I found that the location is not suitable for people who plan to explore the island by car instead of tour boats.

In Rhodes' "low season", this hostel was an unexpected treasure. Situated just off a shopping street, a five-minute walk to bus stations, ten minutes to Medieval city. Stay Hostel was clean, friendly, both manager and staff knowledgeable and friendly, with two outdoor terraces and a restaurant-bar. (We only had coffee, so don't know about food.) Rooms and shared bathroom were spotless, beds made up every three days. After a long day of hiking to old cities or traipsing through the Medieval town, it was a pleasure to return.

All was terrific in mid-March, when Stay Hostel was quiet with a few visitors. The "High Season" (mid-April to mid-September), it would probably be crowded (as a hostel should be), but we loved Low Season friendliness and informality.

Best hostel in Rhodes town with: 1. well designed and arranged indoor community area (lobby, bar, and kitchen) 2. nice joint terrace with plenty of tables where you can interact with other guests or just relax outdoors 3. young and enthusiastic staff 4. excellent location (in between old town, the beach and nice restaurant area in Nikiforou Mandilara street) 5. rooms with 2 beds, AC and nice shared terrace (spent 9 nights) 6. possibility to use facilities of Stay hotel (at few minutes walking distance) especially quiet working space 7. good organization and proffesional manager (David).

Just few things: 1. very small room with 3 beds and AC (spent 2 nights) 2. noisy walkthrough room with solo bed (spent 0 nights) 3. breakfast at the bar could be more tasty and with at least 2 boiled eggs instead of one (took once)
