The owners are so welcoming and friendly. They took my bag up to my room as soon as I arrived, gave me a shot and all the information I needed for WiFi etc. The hotel is spotlessly clean and well laid out. Big room with generous balcony and everything I needed with the kitchenette. The rooms are better than the photos too. The pool was an added bonus since it was so hot and the it was so peaceful there with it only being a 3-5minute walk to the centre of town. Lots of shops and food close by and close to transport links and beaches. I’ll be coming back here if I return to Skiathos. It was amazing! I’m so grateful I stayed here. They booked a taxi for me too when it was time to leave. Cannot fault it.

Firstly the warm welcome from Rania and Stavros, secondly the surprise location to everything in town. Literally around the corner to a great street with restaurants etc then the main tourist street. Both ports are so near by. The room was so clean and had everything we needed. Water pressure in the shower was so powerful at all times. Large TV (we didn’t use it much) We knew in advance the pool was small, but it was great to have a pool in such a central location. Tiny hotel so we never failed to get a sunbed. When we left we were so sad, Rania has such a sense of humour and warmth. I nearly cried. We are going back next year

Such a nice stay and owners Rania and Stavros went above and beyond to satisfy our needs. They have great knowledge about the town and island as a whole, so dont be afraid to ask about anything from restaurants to beaches. Hotel and rooms are kept spotless, and the location is great..close to everything but also quiet in the evening. We will definitly visit this gem next time on Skiathos. Thank you Rania and Stavros for all your recomendations, that made our stay even better.

Lovely friendly welcome when we arrived and also provided with a thoughtful and nice cool glass of water - as it was very hot! The room itself was fabulous - nice large bed with air-conditioning and overhead fan. But we also had the option to open the balcony door as there was a mosquito net. Perfect kitchenette area, and nice and clean bathroom, with everything that you need. Excellent location, with everything that you need in walking distance. Nice looking pool, with sun loungers. Highly recommended!

I very much enjoyed my stay at the Anthena. My room was very clean and a good size for a solo or couple. Plenty of storage/wardrobe space and hangers. A kettle and sandwich maker are provided to make coffee and toast of a morning. Small bathroom with wet-room style shower with curtain. Warm water at night, but not in the morning. The room had a lovely view of the pool. Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to use either my balcony or the pool due to the weather, but it would have been lovely to do so as it was very quiet and chilled. My hosts were exemplary. Both were very friendly and exceptionally helpful.

Everything was so clean, the rooms were cleaned every day which we did not expect! Everyone was so helpful and kind, drinks on the house were frequently bought out to me at the pool which I really appreciated. This was me and my sisters sixth and favourite trip to skiathos - we wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else it was perfect and an excellent location.

The owners were extremely pleasant, welcoming and very helpful. The apartments were incredibly clean, done everyday and towels changed, bedding changed at the half week mark

Unfortunately the position of the apartments were on a road that was constantly full of loud motorbikes going up and down the road, all day from early morning, so if you were put on the road side ( which we were) you couldn't sit out on the balcony relaxing because you couldn't hear yourself speak, the pool view was the quietest, pool was tiny, not enought outside space for everyone to relax

I loved the location, the rooms themselves were spotlessly clean, were of a high standard with comfortable beds, with all bed linen and towels changed daily. The bins were emptied and rooms cleaned daily too. There was adequate, modern cloth storage comprising of a wardrobe with shelf, a dressing consul with mirror above, a separate clothing storage unit, a table and three chairs. A furnished balcony with a clothes drying rack and pegs. The kitchen area had a double hob, electric kettle, electric coffee maker and an electric sandwich toaster. Washing up liquid, scourer and wiping cloth and tea towel were all provided. There were sufficient pans and pots and glasses were provided, if anything else i.e. wine glass was needed, they would be happily provided by the owners. The bathroom was tastefully decorated, with a large clean, curtained shower area with raised step at side, so no overspill, toilet, sink, mirror, shelf, towel rack, hairdryer, bin and toiletries all provided. There was air conditioning and a ceiling fan, a safe with key, at no extra cost for either. There were adequate sockets for appliances Our room was on ground level opposite reception desk and pool bar, our balcony overlooked the pool. The pool was lovely and clean, private to studio guests, of whom shared the 11 rooms within the studios. The location was ideal being about 500mtrs from Papadiamentus Street, the main area of Skiathos town, with its many bars, shops and restaurants. The old and new ports are easily accessible and they too are a short distance away. The studios have their own large car park for guests. Stavros and Rania own and run these studios, with Linda who helps with the cleaning. Nothing is too much trouble for this beautiful couple, whom I am happy to call dear friends. It was my 4th time in Skiathos, my 1st time at the Anthena, but will not be the last. A jewel in the crown.

Rather than coffee maker and sandwich toaster, I would have preferred just an ordinary toaster, but we managed.

It was in a brilliant location very close to all shops and restaurants. The property was very clean in all areas. Rooms were cleaned daily. The hosts were fantastic 👏 very friendly and welcoming you were made to feel part of the family by the time you left. 😊 A big thank you to Rania and Stavros we will be back x
