Small typical Greek hotel. We were very pleased with our room everything we needed for our holiday. All the staff working at the Elsa gave us a lovely welcome and very helpful.😊 Alessandra deserves a special mention. Would definitely return. Pool area and gardens lovely, lots of places to sit and relax or sunbathe.

Think the hotel is missing a trick Pool menu was fine , enough choice if they were all available.?.? If you order a meal for four together, you want to eat it together. So perhaps the way forward to encourage a social environment and increase food and drink sales is too give this area some thought.

A generally well maintained and clean property with a nice elevated location/pool and restaurant/bar area. The hospitality was really good; any questions or issues (only one which was intial wifi problem) we raised were handled quickly, helpfully and professionally. Eveyone was really accomodating. The aircon was good and after an initial site wide wifi issue was resolved, the wifi was fast and reliable. It was a perfectly good base for us.

The location of the room we had (with kitchen) was off the parking area (rightly or wrongly we had thought from the photos we had seen/focussed on that it was a little more secluded) meaning that it was noisy; cars doors, engines, kids running about screaming, which based on our “lifestyle” was inconvenient. It is not something that can be changed; i.e. not the hotels’ fault.

We only stayed here 1 night on our last night before flying back to Uk. After island hoping and staying in an array of accommodations over 14 days. For a 2 star Elsa did not disappoint. We really enjoyed our short stay there after travelling and needing a wash and resting place. The out door grounds was so clean and beautiful with all the grape vines and the views of the town. Staff was great. Friendly and inviting. Family run business. The lad at reception and bar… forgot his name. Was an absolute asset to the business. Everything was ready for arrival when we booked that morning. Absolute bargain for a family of 4 with a decent breakfast to start your day.

We had a wonderful stay at Elsa Hotel. The staff were incredibly polite and attentive throughout our visit, always going the extra mile to make sure we were comfortable. The rooms were spotless and cleaned daily, with towels and sheets being changed frequently. It was such a pleasant experience to return to such a well-kept room. The pool area was lovely and made for a great spot to relax. It was perfect for unwinding with a drink or two after a day of exploring. The breakfast was delicious and always fresh, though a little more variety would have been a nice touch. Overall, Elsa Hotel provided an excellent experience, and we would gladly return. Highly recommended!

The position was excellent, 10 minutes by walk to reach the center of Skiathos. Owners were always kind. The breakfast was minimal, always the same every day, but good (salty and sweet). Very comfortable the balcony in the bedroom; fridge and air condition available; closets and bedside tables were comfortable. Relaxing swimming pool areas. Cleaning activity in the bedroom every day.

In the bathroom there were always a bad smell :( probably caused by the shower drain or the fact that the shower was on the floor. Due to this last aspect, the floor of the bathroom was always wet, despite the fact there was the dedicated carpet. There was only one hook for hanging the towel, behind the door, which was on the opposite side of the shower. In fact we used the closet hangers to hang towels and let them dry (the bathroom was almost always wet)

The hotel was so so pretty and picture perfect. Lots of greenery and flowers. For a small hotel it had various different seating areas. Decent sunbeds ( no one put towels on them!) Two big cabana type beds arrived too on the day of our departure which were super comfortable. The pool was great and it also had its own bar which was much cheaper than the bars in the town. The staff were really helpful and knowledgeable and took the time to chat. It was just a two storey hotel and also had little self contained bungalows.

The shower, it had one side screen so the whole bathroom got wet. You had to remember to move the toilet roll or it wasn't usable . The limited menu

All in all, we were satisfied with the accommodation. Its location was just perfect for us, suitable for the town centre. Cleaning was daily and satisfactory. The pool and the sunbeds around it were a huge plus, perfect for relaxation. The pool bar was also great with reasonable prices.

The breakfast war the very same every day. We spent there 7 nights and had to have more or less the same thing for every breakfast. Towards the end it was really boring. The selection was very modest too. Just by widening the selection, the whole breakfast-experience could have been so much better. Though the bathroom was clean, certain parts of it were covered in mould.

Swimming pool area is fantastic. Try to get a room on the ground floor with direct access to the pool. Breakfast is great (although a bit weird that the man in charge is there staring all the time) anyway pool staff lovely. Room was a bit small but again outdoors is that gorgeous pool and garden.

It is on a busy street so lots of car noise motorcycles and beeping. Bus stop and supermarket are 5 or 10 minutes away which in the sun and heat up the hill is a bit tricky. Also 10 minutes to the old town and port. It’s 5 minutes from the airport. We paid 10 euros in the night from airport to Elsa hotel but to leave We asked for a taxi from the hotel and it cost 25 euros at 3 pm. So be aware of this detail.

The hotel was in a great location - just 5 minute drive from the airport and 10 mins from the main street, and 15 mins to the old harbour. So so many bakeries and shops close by. The double room was a good size, each with their own little terrace and drying rack for swimwear. The pool was small but lots of options of sun loungers and deck chairs with good shade options. The breakfast each morning had a good selection of continental options. Bar was well priced and bottled water was especially cheap

As others have mentioned, the beds are VERY firm but this wasn't a huge negative for us. The bathrooms are wet rooms and I managed to flood it having a very long shower (that's on me really)

Beautiful setting only a short walk from the town centre. Tucked away off a road going into Skiathos Town, this accommodation is a gem of a find. Vera and Yiannis were the front of house staff that couldn’t do enough for us. It was my birthday and Yiannis had taken the time to decorate our room with balloons and a complimentary bottle of wine for our arrival. Vera was such good company and she went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable (I think she will remember us for a long time to come too - apparently we were very entertaining). Rooms were clean and beds comfortable. The pool was lovely and the poolside furnishings were comfortable and plentiful. Food was delicious and service was prompt. Prices were so reasonable too. Shower facilities available in case you have a later flight and want to freshen up before your onward flight. Blondie the resident cat gave us a very warm welcome too.

I really can’t think of anything to dislike.
