Everything about Elsa Hotel was beautiful..lovely pool area with plenty of seating and shaded areas. Pool bar and food avaliable throughout the day. Rooms were cleaned daily plus towels and bedding changed every other day. Staff were exceptional and couldn't do enough to make our stay enjoyable. Short walk into town or bus stop 3 to get to all the fantastic beaches for just 2/3 euros fantastic value. I would definitely stay again and recommend Elsa to anyone visiting Skiathos. Also have to mention Vassilis not sure about spelling, ghe owner who was a very charming host.

Our stay at Elsa hotel was well above our expectations. The hotel staff including the dog Karma was really warm and welcoming, and they made our stay tremendous. The staff helped us with information such as directions to the bus, information on the best restaurants and beaches to visit. The cleaning of the room was top notch and cleaned every day. The pool areas was also great with a lot of sun beds and a clean pool that our kids loved. Nice touch with a pool bar that served us cool drinks and a light selection of meals. The location of the hotel gave us a great view and it was just a short walk to city center. This hotel is perfect stay for a family of four!

Hotel was a small and very traditional Greek family run hotel. It was exactly what we wanted, ten min walk from Skiathos town, with a balcony, pool and very clean! Rooms were cleaned everyday and supplied with fresh towels daily!! Alexandra the hotel manager was a real gem of the hotel, she was always very friendly and nothing was too much trouble! We will definitely be recommending this beautiful little hotel to our friends and family and we will 100% come back! If you want a traditional, clean, Greek hotel with grape vines hanging above your head and cobbled walk ways that’s a short walk from the town with a pool and balcony - this one is for you!

Could have done with some more cups and glasses in the room and some complimentary herbal tea bags would have been a nice touch, as there was a kettle and only 2 cups and 2 small glasses and we were a family of 3. But that’s a small problem to have, it didn’t ruin our holiday in the slightest, just a little feedback from us.

Small typical Greek hotel. We were very pleased with our room everything we needed for our holiday. All the staff working at the Elsa gave us a lovely welcome and very helpful.😊 Alessandra deserves a special mention. Would definitely return. Pool area and gardens lovely, lots of places to sit and relax or sunbathe.

Think the hotel is missing a trick Pool menu was fine , enough choice if they were all available.?.? If you order a meal for four together, you want to eat it together. So perhaps the way forward to encourage a social environment and increase food and drink sales is too give this area some thought.

A generally well maintained and clean property with a nice elevated location/pool and restaurant/bar area. The hospitality was really good; any questions or issues (only one which was intial wifi problem) we raised were handled quickly, helpfully and professionally. Eveyone was really accomodating. The aircon was good and after an initial site wide wifi issue was resolved, the wifi was fast and reliable. It was a perfectly good base for us.

The location of the room we had (with kitchen) was off the parking area (rightly or wrongly we had thought from the photos we had seen/focussed on that it was a little more secluded) meaning that it was noisy; cars doors, engines, kids running about screaming, which based on our “lifestyle” was inconvenient. It is not something that can be changed; i.e. not the hotels’ fault.

From the moment we arrived, Alexandra made us feel truly welcome. Her warm hospitality and professionalism were exceptional. She took the time to explain everything we needed to know, offered great recommendations, and was always available to help with any questions or requests. It’s rare to find someone so attentive, friendly, and genuinely dedicated to making guests feel at home. We wouldn’t hesitate to return and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for outstanding service and a personal touch.

If we had to mention one small thing, the breakfast could be improved a little—but honestly, that might just be because we Italians are a bit spoiled when it comes to food! 😉

Alexandra was amazing. We had a room mix up and despite it being no trouble at all she went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. She helped with everything we asked and her little dog was adorable. The pool is small but deep and clean. Loads of sunbeds, and we didn’t struggle once to find sunbeds together with a mix of sun and shade. The room was cleaned thoroughly daily and new towels given. The food and drink from the pool bar was convenient, reasonably priced, and tasty. Breakfast was simple but nice, particularly the little croissants. The main road of shops and restaurants was about a 10/15 minute walk away, with the port about 20, and a nice beach again 20. Not crazy steep hills. The outside of the hotel is beautiful covered in vines. We had the best stay. Taxi was €15 from the airport (only four minutes). Alexandra booked one for us on our return. Hairdryer in bathroom was really good, and decent little kitchen for basics in the studio. Pool toys and floats were available, as well as seats and loungers away from the pool (if you don’t want to get splashed!). Good, friendly atmosphere.

The rooms could do with a little spruce up. Our first room had a dodgy bathroom door handle, and the second a slight drain smell. Additionally the water pressure isn’t great. The beds were firm (a negative for me).

The staff were so helpful and the place was very chilled out. The poolside and relaxing area were really well thought out lots of places for sun or shade. It was a bit of a walk into the centre but that suits us as we like a quieter place and a good view and the view was decent..

The nearby road was busy and noisy, but you do get used to it. The walk down to town is not the safest, fine for us, but with younger children, I would have been worried. A toaster to toast bread would be great. Overall, it's a really good place to stay and we'd recommend.

We only stayed here 1 night on our last night before flying back to Uk. After island hoping and staying in an array of accommodations over 14 days. For a 2 star Elsa did not disappoint. We really enjoyed our short stay there after travelling and needing a wash and resting place. The out door grounds was so clean and beautiful with all the grape vines and the views of the town. Staff was great. Friendly and inviting. Family run business. The lad at reception and bar… forgot his name. Was an absolute asset to the business. Everything was ready for arrival when we booked that morning. Absolute bargain for a family of 4 with a decent breakfast to start your day.

Alexandra and the staff were very hospitable and friendly. They accommodated all of our requests. The pool was big and the kids had loads of fun with the lilos and balls provided. It catered for a family of 4 well. It’s a beautiful boutique hotel and the variety of fruit trees around the venue made it feel homely and abundant.

The breakfast could have slight tweaks to improve the way it is supplied but is very much inline with a 2 star offering. The yogurt and olives were incredible.
