We had a truly unforgettable stay at Mystery Skiathos Luxury Hotel. Nestled in an excellent neighbourhood, the hotel offers a perfect balance of tranquillity and convenience — just a short walk from the vibrant city centre, stunning beaches, and all the key attractions Skiathos has to offer. The access to private parking was a huge plus, making it easy for us to explore the island by car. The hotel itself is a gem — elegant, spotless, and incredibly welcoming. The swimming pool was perfect for children, with a safe and relaxed atmosphere. One of the highlights of our stay was unwinding in our private jacuzzi each evening — a magical way to end the day under the stars. What truly made our experience special was the staff. Everyone we encountered was friendly and approachable, going out of their way to make us feel at home. Katerina, the manager, was exceptional — warm, attentive, and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. In terms of value, Mystery Hotel delivers far more than expected. The luxury, the location, and the genuine hospitality made our trip one to remember. We’re already dreaming of our next visit!

Nothing really!

The staff at this hotel are delightful, always smiling and exceptionally helpful. It's a few minutes walk into the main town, just far enough to be away from the noise particularly in high season but close enough to walk in a few minutes. Everything was very clean and the view from our balcony, on the top floor, was well worth the steps to the room!

The hotel is built into the hillside so there are a lot of steps and no handrails. If mobility was an issue then maybe request a lower room. The bathrooms are also a little small, modern and good quality fittings but not a lot of space.

Review of the mystery hotel We arrived at 9 pm (ish). Katerina from the hotel kept in touch with us, and was there to collect us and deliver us 2km (shortest ever journey from an airport in my life!) to the beautiful hotel she calls home. From arrival until we left 7 days later nothing was too much trouble for her and her wonderful team of staff. Our room (2 bed suite) was spotless with a super comfy bed. It was cleaned by a lovely lady daily with towel changes and to a continuously high standard. We ate in the hotel restaurant both for some lunches and some evenings and all the meals we had were delicious and very well priced. We had breakfast included and this was pre ordered the night before which was for me a memory of my youth staying in an Italian ski hotel but this one in skiathos had a much better chef and staff !! Everything from a perfect omelette to a poached egg to Greek yoghurt and honey and fruit and crepes all were delicious including a Greek salad for breakfast which I regularly indulged in. The eating areas are both inside and on the outdoor patio overlooking a beautifully lit pool area and although the mystery hotel is expanding into the adjacent new building they are creating there were no active building works to disturb us. Everything was quiet and tranquil. We sunbathed by the pool and enjoyed waitress service to our sun loungers (very pleasant), and the stone facades and decorative greenery on the walls around us were a lovely backdrop. The hotel is situated around 8 mins walk from the waters edge in the old or new port. It is important to listen to Katerina’s directions as we took a much longer route on our first day and ended up literally on a mystery tour up a very steep hill to get back to base when there is a flat road merely 10 metres away which would have saved our legs. However that’s all part of the fun I suppose. The bus service from the town all down the island is excellent and we ventured down to stop 16 and found some

The hotel was small and positioned in a quieter spot up from the harbour. The pool was quiet and the guests were all pleasant and respectful. The staff were really welcoming, friendly and helpful. As they were busy, the room wasn't quite ready and they were quick to respond with a complimentary cold drink. They were happy to store our bags before check in time. The room we were in (30) is one of the newer rooms and it was massive! The balcony was lovely. The bathroom was high end spec. The curtains etc all worked by remote. The air conditioning was great. The breakfast offered lots of choice and it was freshly made to your preference. You were also offered more to ensure you had had sufficient. The waitress was lovely- really accommodating and spoke really good English. The managers were both lovely too- we had a transfer back to the airport with Thomas at 15euros. The price of a standard taxi fare. We wish them well with the new hotel accommodation block.

Nothing in particular- a point to note to others- don't follow the SAT NAV from the ferry port, as it takes you up a step road and hill. It is better to walk up the main street, turn right at the shop ERA and walk all the way past Capella Town and beyond and then turn right twice and pass LA Piscine (5 *hotel) and it's on left ( advertising SAVOR restaurant).

Beautiful and very boutique. Cleanliness and very bright. Rooms were lovely and modern. The pool was a lovely area to relax and enjoy cocktails. Breakfast was lovely, food was presented exceptionally well and tasted delicious. Authentic with local produce. All the staff were very professional and also very friendly. Smiling and very personable making recommendations and genuinely interested in making our stay memorable and enjoyable.

Gorgeous modern hotel run by a lovely family. Good location for a short stroll to the town. The room was fabulous and so spacious and immaculate. Nice balcony overlooking the pool. Split level accommodation which suited us as a family of 5. Clean pool area. Only small but nice and relaxing. Pool towels and comfy loungers. The breakfast was made to order and table service and the food was excellent. We only stayed 2 nights but had we stayed longer we would have dined there in the evening too.

Amazing 2 night stay in this lovely hotel! Everything was faultless!! Staff and guests very friendly. A shout out to Katarina, who went out her way to make all guests feel special! Those pictures will always make us smile 😊. Hopefully back soon

We stayed one night at Mystery Skiathos Luxury before returning home. The hotel is very well maintained and very clean. Also very well equipped (pool, restaurant). It is located in a quiet environment despite its (convenient) proximity to the airport. In particular, we would like to highlight the efficiency and kindness of the lady managing the hotel. We also noted a smiling staff, clearly happy to work there. The city centre and the port are only a few minutes away thanks to the hotel shuttle.

Katarina and her husband Thomas were lovely and very hospitable. The staff were fabulous and made us feel so welcome and were very helpful. The breakfast was delicious and home cooked. We had a lovely stay.

There was a derelict building next door as some building work going on so we didn't know about that until we arrived. The view was not particularly nice looking at it when we first arrived but it didn't affect our stay as we didn't experience any noise.

Breakfast was excellent & the breakfast staff made you feel very welcome.

Still a lot of maintenance work still going on & didn’t get the room as described by booking.com as these facilities didn’t exist as was told by the owner she would get in touch with booking.com as to why they were advertising facilities which didn’t exist.
