A fabulous location, literally 5 minutes walk to the ferry and even less into the heart of the town where the selection of tavernas and shops was outstanding. My room and bathroom were spacious with a lovely balcony looking over the pool and the sea. Also close by was a bicycle rental shop. I rented an ebike which was perfect for such a small island.The breakfast was a very pleasant surprise with so many choices both hot and cold. The pool was great and having a drink at the swim up bar at the end of a hot day was a real treat. Overall a very clean and spacious hotel with plenty of shady spots to sit and relax in. The beach was one minute away also and the main tourist attractions such as The Holy Monastery and cave were within easy reach on my bike.

The only negatives were lack of tea or coffee making facilities in the rooms and I found the mattress hard and lumpy but solved this problem by putting the winter blankets in the wardrobe over the mattress which helped make things more comfortable.

We found this hotel to be exceptional in so many ways. It’s perfectly located on the harbour yet set back from the road so that it feels quiet and peaceful. It’s just minutes walk to a plethora of shops, bars and restaurants and about a 20 minute hike to the Cave of the Revelation. The beautiful citrus trees, flowers and vines in the grounds create a scented, natural oasis of relaxation. The interior of the hotel is tastefully decorated with many cultural touches. Our ground floor room was simple yet perfect for our stay. We enjoyed the view of the harbour and pool. The breakfast buffet was well stocked with multiple delicious options and good coffee. The hotel pool is a lovely salt water pool with plenty of sun and shade while we were there. Most of all the staff, and the welcome they provide, were unmatched by anyone else on our trip. We found them to be extremely helpful, informative, generous and kind, bringing in depth local knowledge and ensuring we had all we needed and more. We would highly recommend this hotel to visitors and hope to return ourselves for a longer stay in the future.

Just a note that tv channels were primarily Greek but the hotel had excellent Wi-Fi for those with their own devices.

The staff are super efficient and friendly. The check-in process was very efficient, and we were made to feel very welcome. Our room was clean, well equipped, and comfortable. The breakfast was outstanding, they had a very extensive range and once again the staff there were excellent. The location of the hotel is within walking distance from the port, shops and restaurants. I would recommend this hotel and will definitely use it again when returning to Patmos.

The only minor thing was that the beds were on the "hard" side. But otherwise, there are no other issues.

The hotel’s location was great, very close to the port, city center, bus and taxi stop-all critical spots. Walking distance to the beach in the city, still very clean. The hotel is ok, clean and comfortable. The lady in the reception was an amazing guide for us, briefing us on the places to go on a map, bus schedules etc. We were very happy with the hotel and would happily stay again

We booked a room with an extra bed for three people. The extra bed was not comfortable, but the room provides ample comfort for two people. The location is truly fantastic, with a nearby public beach that is well-maintained and offers good facilities. Additionally, all restaurants and bars are within walking distance, and there are beautiful beaches just a 5-minute taxi ride away. The hotel breakfast was surprisingly good. However, the only downside is that although breakfast is served until 11 AM, most of the food is gone if you arrive late, and it is not replenished.

The location of the hotel is perfect, you can see the entrance to the courtyard from the ferry pier. We were able to check in early. The staff were incredible. We came to Patmos to visit the Cave of the Apocalypse and the Monastery of St. John. The staff's advice about how and when to go proved invaluable and improved our experience immensely. They also suggested wonderful restaurants and other activities. The breakfast was wonderful.

This was a last minute booking after a bad 24 hours on another island. When we arrived we were greeted by Ariadne, she was so welcoming and friendly, we instantly felt relaxed and happy to have arrived at the Skala Hotel. She is a star ⭐ Nice location but still quiet. Very clean, bed was firm so had a great nights sleep. Lots of choices for breakfast and also has a pool !

We liked soooooo much. Great location - 5 minutes walk from the port, set back down an avenue from the street. Really helpful staff, gave lots of information to our questions. Seaview room with a balcony. They helped us celebrate two significant life events!

Breakfast was fine but could have been better with fresh orange and hotter food.

Everything about Skala was amazing, the facilities, breakfast, absolutely amazing staff who provided such excellent service & care. We felt safe & very much cared for. Thank you every single staff member, very appreciative for all of you. Also huge thanks for fulfilling my requests prior to coming, everything was perfect.

The hotel staff were so so nice they had a solution for everything. It was in the centre of everything but set back so quiet .The place was spotless without being clinical .Towel provided for the pool and breakfast was exceptional .
