We booked a room with an extra bed for three people. The extra bed was not comfortable, but the room provides ample comfort for two people. The location is truly fantastic, with a nearby public beach that is well-maintained and offers good facilities. Additionally, all restaurants and bars are within walking distance, and there are beautiful beaches just a 5-minute taxi ride away. The hotel breakfast was surprisingly good. However, the only downside is that although breakfast is served until 11 AM, most of the food is gone if you arrive late, and it is not replenished.

Everything about Skala was amazing, the facilities, breakfast, absolutely amazing staff who provided such excellent service & care. We felt safe & very much cared for. Thank you every single staff member, very appreciative for all of you. Also huge thanks for fulfilling my requests prior to coming, everything was perfect.

This is the best location for an hotel in Patmos Skala region. It is a waterfront hotel minutes from the town center. Also the hotel is at a walking distance from the ferry port, no need to take a taxi just walk 10 minutes.. There is a decent beach nearby and a nice pool in the hotel. Rent a car from next door shop and visit other beaches and Chora, the medieval village around the monastery. Staff is very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay. If we come again Skala Hotel will be the only choice for us.

Breakfast is acceptable but not superb. Rooms are not very large but almost all hotels in Greece are like that.

Location is unbeatable - you can really maximise your trip from this location. Even though it’s so central it was never noisy at night when in the room. Convenient on premises parking. Staff were all so lovely and helpful and bear in mind I was travelling with a child and a noisy toddler but was always made to feel welcome. Cleaning staff very friendly and immediately came to help when I needed. Breakfast was great, large selection and helpful staff

Decor in the room is a bit dated. Bathroom was a bit small.

This is a really nice hotel with good rooms. The grounds are lovely. The breakfast is excellent. I would happily return another time.

It is coming time for an update. There are some silly things in the bathroom. The glass shower door hits the toilet and has no protection against the tiles if you open it fully. The door stopper on the bathroom door is in the wrong place and doesn't do anything.

We visited in June 2023. Very friendly hotel with easy going, tranquil atmosphere. Set away from the main road within its own courtyard but within very easy walking distance to a little beach and centre with shops/bars/tavernas. Good quality, simple breakfast on the terrace. Bedroom very tranquil, excellent a/c.

Some of our room furniture appeared in need of replacing/fixing, e.g. cupboard door handles and old-fashioned springy mattresses!

Rooms were super clean, a good choice for breakfast, and staff were a delight. Dimitri was a great bar tender.

Beds were quite firm and uncomfortable.

Hotel very close to the port. Old town and beaches are about 45 minutes by foot, shuttle buses start close by the hotel too. Since I arrived in pre-season the pool and what seems to be a pool bar were not yet operating, but the area appears nice. Breakfast was good as well.

Stunning entrance nice pool, good breakfast, great atmosphere, very clean, nice room nice balcony, good views of the harbor Very close to the city center, cafés, and restaurants, very close to the ferry port.

There isn’t really anything i did not like. I had one uncertainty whether I had already paid in the evening of arrival versus I still had to pay. I think the standard payment method is in the morning of your departure. Just be aware of that.

The lady who worked the night shift was very helpful and friendly. We arrived on the overnight ferry from Piraeus at 2:00am. and she made us feel so welcome. We were a family of 6 spanning 3 generations and all were very happy with the Hotel. From the breakfast which was very good through to a late afternoon dip in the pool, all more than made for a great experience. Location and quiet setting, perfect.

We could not find any problems. We were all so happy with the Hotel!
