There was so much to LOVE about our stay at Living Theros. The hotel was our sixth place in our bucket list adventure and their accommodations were stunning. Opulent (yet somehow casual) touches throughout: marble stairs and flooring, crochet lamps that cast a soft, warm glow, cave bathroom. Comfortable nooks were appropriately designed. Views of the water and ambient nature sounds (goats, cicadas, birds) struck a peaceful vibe. It was a serene and unforgettable experience of elegance and relaxation. The delightful breakfast spread was carefully crafted with the finest local and fresh ingredients. We loved walking around this gorgeous village set into the mountains of Kardiani and enjoyed talking with residents and we took many photographs. Panagiotis and Vassilis were excellent hosts. With good health, we hope to return.

The village of Kardiani was out of the way, about 12 miles from the town of Tinos. It appeared that there was bus service from my research, but when we arrived, we discovered that the bus stop was blocked by parked cars. It appeared that the beach was close by and walkable, but actually there were no sidewalks. Taxis are expensive. For me, that I feel uncomfortable renting a car, ATV, or motorcycle, this was a problem. Also, when booking about six weeks ahead, the nightly rate was high and nonrefundable. (Now the price is quite reasonable for the same room.) I would say, caveat emptor, but if you are willing to rent a car, stay there!

Tastefully appointed room, jaw-dropping view across the sea to Syros, and traditional village setting. Our 'Deluxe suite' was a great size for a couple for a weekend, practically set out and complete with amenities. Breakfast brought to your room at a pre-agreed time of your choice.

Everything was great, only the welcome could have been a little warmer and an offer of help carrying our bags to the rooms would have been appreciated.

Believe it, I liked everything about the property. A beautiful home away from your perfect home. Worth visiting outside your Tinos attractions on its own. Host and property beyond the stars we can afford. If off-season weather allows, and you are a seasoned hiker, the walk down (and maybe up) to the beach is amazing. If you are island hopping, this is a perfect spot to rest and restore. The attention to home and detail is beyond expectation, aesthetically and functionally (LG Fridge and Bosch washer)

Nothing to critique

Second time in Tinos but first time in Kardiani and I will definitely visit again. The property is very well located and our host did his outmost to make us feel welcome and share his passion for the island. The room was small but had access to the most gorgeous terrace overlooking the Aegean. The breakfast was good, served at our preferred time at the room or the terrace. Good selection of drinks and snacks at the mini bar. Great value for money! Perivoli restaurant is just 5 minutes away and we really enjoyed their fabulous cousine twice.

As mentioned the specific room was small so if you are planning to stay all day in your A/C reading your book I would not recommend it. Also Kardiani is a traditional village with limited car access and parking capacity. The folks from living theros helped us with our suitcases on arrival and departure but you still park 10-15 minutes away. I would not recommend the place if you have mobility issues. Parking was ok during our stay however we were there at the beginning of the touristic season so not sure how easy it'd be finding parking in August.

I had a perfect stay in the smallest room of the hotel, it had everything I needed, even a beautiful little garden. It has a comfortable bed, great linens, a small fridge and a perfect bathroom, plus many other treats and unexpected luxuries! The decor is minimal and traditional in the most beautiful way and the breakfast delivered to my room was out of this world! Local delicious products, the best breakfast I've had in a long time! Kardiani is also a breathtaking town! The manager went above and beyond to be accommodating and kind, he was wonderful to talk to about the town's history and even had a small treat for me at the end of the stay. There was someone to help with luggage as well. Staying here was more than a visit, it was a wonderful cultural experience in Tinos! I hope to return again!

The facilities with great and simple Greek style design. The amazing views from the terrace, from every window you open and especially from the roof. The amazing roof equipped with everything you need to relax, including a gorgeous small pool. But on top of all of that, amazing owners who did everything that they could to make our stay perfect. Panagiotis was more than the hotel owner he became a friend, helping us with everything we needed. He has amazing knowledge about history and a great partner for a good conversation. The location in the middle of one of the most beautiful villages in Tinos is a bonus as well. And last, Perivoli = a culinary jewl in the heart of kardiani 2 minute walk from the hotel that can easily be named the best tavern in Tinos and one of the best in Greece

it is traditional house with exceptional views to the seaand rich breakfast.The rooms have inner stone decorations and the neighbourhood is really quiet.The car you leave at the parking outside the village.The family owning the hotel is really friendly and you get to know more about their lives.It is not recommended for those on strict time schedule because they expect certain check-in and check-out times and they are a bit inflexible on that.

The suite is beautifully decorated, every nook is cozy and comfortable. The standout though is the view. It is breathtaking and you get to enjoy it from a stunning private balcony. Nice breakfast too brought to your room

Getting to it can be challenging—you leave the car at the beginning of the village on a steep incline and there are several steps and a path-gorgeous but challenging. Pack light though the staff is always willing to help. It did get easier after the first time and the end result is worth the effort

Very beautiful hotel suites in a graphic village of the island. Clean rooms with view, very quite area, you hear only the nature! Perfect for relaxing vacations! Breakfast was good too.

There are lot of stairs and walk to go to the rooms. There is no road near and that was a bit difficult with our luggages and the baby stroller. However, the hotel staff helped us to carry our stuff to the rooms.
