The hotel is ideally located in the middle of the Kalamaki main road, however despite of this there is no disturbance from the nearby bars and facilities. The hotel is clean, sheets and towels were changed regularly. The hotel apartments have the best self catering facilities I have experienced, they have a fridge freezer, cooker top, microwave, kettle and more than enough pans, cups, glasses, plates, bowls and cutlery etc - I was able to prepare food for my family properly whenever we didn’t fancy eating out. The hotel apartments are spacious, there is air con, safe, hair dryer, TV, WiFi available in the rooms. The staff are helpful and polite. The snack bar on site is reasonably priced. There is a pool available which is clean and not too busy, always sun loungers available - although I didn’t really use them much as I am a beach person.

The floor in the bathroom floods when you shower - however this is the norm in Greece, I have been travelling to Greece for over 40 years two plus times a year and never ever stayed in a hotel apartment where the bathroom floor doesn’t flood when you shower haha.

The location of the Vanessa hotel was spot on, right in the middle of the strip in Kalamaki. Load of Restaurants and bars within a short walk. Rooms were very spacious with everything we needed. Cleaners in every day , clean towels every other day, and fresh bedding every third day. The pool was a lovely walk in pool with plenty of sun loungers at hand to relax and soak up the sun. The Vanessa also had a great pool bar with a great range of drinks and food , it was also open until the early hours so if you fancied a night cap they would be happy to serve you. All the staff appeared to be very happy and friendly and would help you if asked nothing to much trouble. Overall a fab base to explore Kalamaki.

Available air conditioning, warm water and furnished. The hotel comes with private kitchen and bathroom. Fridge is available for storying frozen or cold food. There’s an optional shared swimming pool hosted in front of the bar which makes it handy for times where there is no right mood to go for a swim in the beach. Pool bar offers restaurants service, bbq and traditional band music. The property is placed in the heart of the main kalamaki road where all restaurants and main culinary consumption is placed.

The kitchen is furnished but the electric stoves are not sufficiently hot to cook. Warming up milk is fine, frying eggs or in general food such as bacon is not.

The location was fantastic, right in the centre of the main strip surround by bars and restaurants. Our room was around the back of the hotel so we didn't really hear any noise. The pool was clean and plenty of sunbeds. The bar on site was great, with plenty of choice for drinks and cocktails and the food was great, served 9am till 5pm. All the staff were so friendly and helpful and they hosted a Greek evening with food and entertainment on one of the nights we were there.

Only had air conditioning in the bedroom so if the door was shut, the other beds in the main room didn't benefit. There was a bit of noise from the corridor outside the room.

The staff were lovely, very welcoming and helpful. We were able to check-in early which was a bonus. The hotel is in a great location, not too far from the beach and along the main strip for bars and restaurants. The bar within the hotel was also good value for money and the food and drinks were just right! My boys enjoyed spending time in the pool.

The facilities in the room were a little tired but we didn't use them much- leaky kettle, although saying this I am sure it would have been replaced if we had asked as the staff were very helpful.

The location is superb, central on the main strip of Kalamaki. The pool bar provides excellent food and snacks throughout the day. Staff both in hotel and pool bar very helpful and friendly. Not the first time I have stayed here and would stay here again and there are many other returning guests, which to me says an awful lot.

Sunbeds are looking tired and maybe could do with a face-lift, but then lying outside in the Greek sun all day every day would do the same to anything.

The hotel is located in a prime position on the main strip with everything you need within walking distance. The bar/restaurant area is excellent and service just as good. They accommodated my room request which was most welcome.

The large balcony attached the rom I had would benefit from a sunbed as it was a real sun trap.

Great location, close to stores, restaurants, bakeries, best ice cream. The walk to the beach is a pleasant one even with kids. The stuff is very friendly. Everything was clean. The room was cleaned every day. The room was equipped with everything you need for making a breakfast or a simple dinner. The beds were comfortable. The pool was clean. Being at seaside I really appreciated having a broom to clean the sand and a lot of space for drying the beach towels and clothes. Due to season ending we could check out later. I just wish we would have known this before.

Some improvements can be done: mosquitoe net as there were many, in the bathroom the shower was a bit rusty, a coffe machine would have been nice since I don't like instant coffee. One of the beds was noisy but we were able to find a workaround by removing 2 boards while we stayed. The cot was very old and missing some screws. Our baby was small enough to use it but for babies that are already standing it was not appropiate.

Clean , quiet , family friendly, clean deep large pool, restaurant / cafe/ bar on site that made excellent breakfasts and snack food. Super friendly and helpful staff especially greatly assisted with extending our stay (I booked incorrect date to leave 😊) , communicating in Greek on phone and booking tours ( thank you Angela 😘)

About 10 minutes slow walking to beach which was fine for us as we prefer to be near supermarket and choice of restaurants in small town.

Vanessa Hotel is amazing value for money. Staff are just wonderful. Having stayed in a number of different hotels in Kalamaki over the years, we would 100% stay here again. The location is superb, and Kaleigh & Costas in the bar are just the best. Can't wait to book again.
