Zante Maris is an exceptionally beautiful resort, and it’s run with remarkable professionalism. The standards are high, and the presence of a large, attentive staff is noticeable throughout. The rooms with private pools are amazing—clean, comfortable, and very well-maintained. Breakfast is generally good, with a wide variety of self-service options. However, I wasn’t impressed by the hot dishes—there’s definitely room for improvement here. The bread served under the eggs is often burnt from an old toaster, giving it a bitter, unpleasant taste. I also felt the egg dishes could be more carefully prepared—the omelettes were dry and hard, and the toppings seemed added without much culinary thought. In contrast, the à la carte restaurant is exceptional. The food is Michelin-star quality—flavorful, beautifully presented, and clearly made with care. Room service is also excellent: quick, efficient, and the food is just as impressive. The cocktails are fantastic—so good, in fact, I could sip them all day (though that wouldn’t be great for my health!). The hotel staff is extremely well-trained: always greeting guests politely, offering help, and someone is always nearby if you need assistance. The only thing I might have hoped for is a bit more warmth in their interaction—though that could just be me being a cheerful soul! I would have also appreciated more tips or suggestions from the staff on what to explore around Zakynthos. That said, the staff is absolutely professional—just what you’d expect from a top-tier fife-star hotel. All in all, Zante Maris is an outstanding resort that fully deserves its excellent reputation and pricing. It’s definitely the best hotel experience we’ve had on the island.

This was our second time at Zante Maris Suites, and just like our first time it did not disappoint. This hotel is absolutely outstanding, both in terms of service and facilities. A tip is to pay the little extra fee for the private pool suites, which are absolutely beautiful and makes you never wanna to leave. There is a high possibility of us returning next year again, and I cannot recommend this hotel enough for anyone wating a relaxing summer holiday.

Last year the hotel organized more events, such as a movie night. We appreciated those happenings, however this year the calendar was much more limited. Doesn't take away anything from the quality of our stay.

The restaurant served some of the best food we’ve had on the island—fresh, creative, and absolutely delicious, with a focus on local ingredients and Mediterranean flavors. Breakfasts were generous and varied, with à la carte options and excellent coffee. The whole atmosphere is peaceful and romantic—ideal for couples or anyone looking to unwind in style. We left feeling relaxed, refreshed, and already planning our return. Highly recommend Zante Maris Suites for a luxury getaway in Zakynthos. A truly special place!

I’ve stayed in many hotels over the years, but this one truly stands out above the rest. From the moment I arrived until the day I left, everything was flawless. The facilities are beautifully designed, modern, and incredibly relaxing ,every detail has clearly been thought through with care. What truly made the experience unforgettable was the staff. Warm, professional, and genuinely welcoming ,they went above and beyond to make sure every moment of my stay was perfect. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and extremely comfortable. The breakfast and other amenities were also top-tier. It felt like a true oasis of luxury and hospitality. This hotel was without a doubt the cherry on top of all my travel experiences. I’ll definitely be returning ,and I can’t recommend it enough!

The room with private pool was lovely. The food was exceptional with huge portions at both breakfast and dinner of some really exceptional food.(but see note below on what we didn’t like). Staff were very pleasant and keen to please. The Movie Night by the pool was a fabulous treat. From check in to check out a fabulous stay.

It’s a minor thing but we decided at check in to go half board for 45 euros each per day, as discussed the food was exceptional with ample portions, so we would often share a starter and we never eat dessert - looking at the a la carte prices we wouldn’t have spent 45 euros on food on any day of our stay and would have been better off going a La carte. Just a word of warning if you are considering upgrading to half board! Also the Zakynthos themed dinner (on Sunday) was heavily ‘promoted’ so we booked but found out in the day it was exclusively fish dishes and we would be charged an extra 35 euros per head for it. As it happens we’re not fish mad, so the hotel happily provided us with dishes from the half board menu.

I had a wonderful experience during my stay! The suite was exceptional – spacious, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable. The pool with a view was a real highlight – perfect for relaxing and enjoying the surroundings. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, always going out of their way to make sure everything was perfect. Breakfast was delicious each morning, with a great variety of options to choose from. Overall, a truly memorable stay. I would definitely come back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway!

Sofia, the Sommelier, guided us through incredible wine pairings each evening, making every dinner a memorable culinary journey. Between the breathtaking suite, the private and peaceful surroundings, and the attentive yet discreet service, our stay felt like a dream. We left with full hearts, recharged spirits, and memories we will treasure forever. I loved Zante! I was very lucky and was upgraded for my room type and got a private pool villa. The room was massive, quiet and comfortable. Huge shower, outdoor tanning space and pool. The hotel grabbed my suitcase from the car/parking area and golf buggy'ed it to my room. Breakfast was a great spread with both a la carte + buffet. The staff were very friendly and the hotel grounds / space was beautiful. They offered olive oil at check out as a parting gift, the housekeeping staff were lovely and provided water and a great turn down service.

The location is a little secluded. Which is totally fine if you have a car (I did). But if you are wanting to explore close towns or go out for dinner, then you would need to taxi/drive. I like being able to explore/walk around, I had a car so was able too. Just an FYI if you think the hotel is 'close' to things.

Great place to relax for a couple of days. Zante is a rather small boutique style hotel, very stylish and tasteful decorated and great location on the island. Probably one of the best and most beautiful hotels on the island together with OLEA next door. The staff is super friendly, attentive and helpful. Also the food, breakfast and dinner, is outstanding and made with a lot of love for detail and great ingredients, mainly from the region. I had a great massage with Helen, the therapist, which was amazing! All in all we really enjoyed this place and would recommend to anyone!

The small gym is in the neighboring hotel but currently a new bigger one is build and Looks soon to be ready.

The property location was great at the top of a hill with a beautiful view of town but close enough to be able to walk down into town or the beach. The moment we arrived the staff was amazing and all very personable and friendly. The grounds are beautiful and very relaxing and our room was huge! The pools were heated which was nice and all the food was delicious. Not only did we receive a welcome bottle of wine with desert but also a last night thank you bottle of wine with an assortment of honeys and upon check out a bottle of olive oil as a parting gift. The AC worked great, showers were warm and the bed was very comfortable.

The only downside for my husband was the gym at the partner resort was small and some things broken.
