I was a little hesitant to book this hotel because it's a fitness facility and I was worried it would be too noisy. Even though there are raquetball courts and a weight and fitness room, there was no noise. I was very happy with how quiet, peaceful, and tranquil my room was. The hotel is in an excellent location if coming by train. Less than a 5 minute walk from the station! Old town, with pedestrian streets and shopping and cafes is about a 10 minute walk. Everywhere I went the city is very walkable, and hardly any hills. The reception staff spoke English and check in went well. I couldn't find the swimming pool and the clerk left her desk to show me the way! The room was very clean when I arrived and furnished adequately. Decent breakfast served - several juices, a coffee machine that makes different coffees, tea, scrambled or fried eggs, cereal, yogurt, cold cuts, cheeses, fruit, pastries, breads. Even tomatoes and cucumbers that I made a sandwich out of! I loved the pool area, I guess it's kind of what I imagine a Turkish bath looks like. A cooler pool, a warmer pool that has jet bubbles on a timer every 15 minutes or so, and a hot tub that also is on a timer for bubbles. There are saunas off the pool area. Lots of deck chairs to relax after a swim.

The air conditioning worked but was very weak. I woke up during the night sweating, even though I had it running on high. The comforter was too hot for summer bedding. My room didn't get cleaned at all during the 3 nights I stayed. I don't require bedding or towels changed, but the floor needed to be vacuumed. I didn't "opt out" of housecleaning and I was out of my room frequently. Plenty of time for a cleaner to pop in for less than 5 minutes for a quick tidy up.

It was very close to the train station which is amazing, lovely vintage hotel, very clean & the food is AMAZING and the pools are lovely too, which we had them mostly to ourselfes, the seating by the pools are super comfortable!

The only thing we didn’t like was that the bar wasn’t open during the day and only from 4pm which is very weird when it’s 30+ degrees because the only drinks available were in the mini fridge in the room and 2nd thing we didn’t like was that there are no massages available!

The very old fashioned look and feel of the hotel. It was easy to find, check-in seamless, friendly young man helped us. The breakfast was lovely-they had the most divine chocolate cake-FOR BREAKFAST!As well as lots of other unique items to tempt us. The pool/spa/sauna was amazing!!!!

Mattress is a bit worn and the bed in general small for a couple, but all in all it was fine for a night.

The pool and other wellness facilities. The breakfast buffet had a great selection. The dining area is beautiful. The entire hotel is stunning. A 5 minute walk to downtown. Great location! The hotel sits in a park which is well maintained. Free private parking on premises. We loved this place. We would return.

The wet sauna was inoperable. However, the dry sauna was working. The restaurant and bar were closed. It would have been nice to be able to have drinks at night on the park patio. It is beautiful outside.

The location is ok, 10 minutes walk from the pedestrian area- just take the right direction, on the other side is the train and buss station. The SPA is really nice, with several saunas, jacuzzi, a swimming pool. Breakfast is great. Nice staff.

We needed some more space do hank and dry the towels and bathrobes. Some towels and one bathrobe "tired".

The breakfast was amazing! The staff is also very friendly. The room is spacious and comfortable. The bed is top notch!

Unfortunately, there were no hot drink (coffee/tea) available in the room. In addition, the room was a little loud as the noises from the corridor came in easily. Finally, there was a small fee I had to pay when leaving (some type of tourism tax) about which I missed the memo.

Breakfast, Gym, accommodations. The staff was very friendly and attentive.

Maybe, update the gym. I really like working out.

The location of the hotel was great, close to the railway station, but also to the city centre. The interior design was absolutely gorgeous! The breakfast was good, with both warm and cold dishes.

In the wellness, only a portion of the pools (1 jacuzzi partially, and one wellness pool), and one sauna was working, out of 2 jacuzzis, and 3 different saunas. Although it was enough as there were not many people.

wellnes is great, sauna is hot, not crowded. 3 minutes walk away from the center.

we had to pay extra for wellnes flip flops… we didnt bring our own, since two years ago when we last visited this hotel, got complimentart flip flops. I asked for a corkscrew at the reception but they only had one in the bar. breakfast was bettet two years ago too. but its still a great hotel and we will gladly come back to here.
