I like this Hungarian hotel chain. My charming old-Style, clean room was great with a refrigerator and AC, a comfortable bed and an amazingly comfortable bathtub and super hot water at a great water pressure ( thanks!). Staff is helpful and polite, they were in a process of training some young women, as historically it was men’s job in Hungary (in my experience). Wi-Fi worked great. Location is convenient.

Overall, I had no big issues with noise from other guests or outside, but I couldn’t sleep with the window open, as there is a busy intersection there. I had a great view, but maybe I ask for a quieter room next time.

Great hotel in the heart of Gyor beside the beautiful historical government building. The room was clean and comfortable, was facing with an amazing view of the park and the beautiful historical building. There is limited parking space, parking should be reserved in advance. Excellent location of the hotel, within walking distance to the train station only a few minutes from the hotel, and it also faces on the main street. You can have a walking tour of the historical “old town” with a lot of different shops, café and restaurants. There is an aqua park nearby for a family with children. The breakfast had a lot of options. Nice restaurant downstairs with a great food. The staff were friendly, professional and provided an excellent service.

The hotel is very well located, just a short walk from the city center, which makes it perfect for exploring the area. The room was clean, nicely furnished, and comfortable. However, the bathroom was quite dated and could use some renovation. The surrounding area can be noisy, especially at night, so light sleepers might find it a bit disturbing. On the bright side, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout the stay. Parking is available but not included in the room rate — there’s an extra charge for it(10€/day). Overall, a good choice for a short city stay if you don’t mind some street noise and an older bathroom.

Great hotel in the city centre with parking that has to be reserved in advance and paid extra. There is nothing extraordinary about this place, but still comfortable, and the sauna as well as the small gym are not crowded. One has to ask for the sauna at least an hour in advance before using it, but it is included in the price. There are many restaurants and shops around the hotel. The train station is only a seven minute walk.

Out of three, only one elevator worked during our stay. Parking was complicated by the fact that we had to ask the reception for releasing a barrier before parking and during this time we blocked the circulation in the hotel area.

The hotel was within walking distance to the train station which was helpful in the rain. The hotel is also located off a biking path at the end/start of the main shopping street. The staff was friendly and accommodating even with my pet/dog. The room was front facing with an amazing view of the park and main government building, Even with the rooms location, it was extremely quiet considering the street traffic, location to the train station, and the bells chiming on the government building. The breakfast was good and well stocked, there was plenty of seating which we chose to sit in the bar/restaurant area where it was quiet and intimate. The hotel can easily accommodate a large party or wedding. There was a spa area with two sauna and workout facility.

Nothing. Was a wonderful stay.

Good breakfast and great location

Don't believe the pictures you see on booking. The rooms don't look like that They are small and the furniture is rather dated. The bathrooms are very small, could use a bit more cleaning and the sinks drained very slowly. We travelled as a group, rented 4 rooms. Two of them were connected through a common door and we could hear each other through it. The breakfast was generous, the staff helpful and the location central. Although we had reserved parking spaces for 3 cars when we arrived we found free public parking in the street and the hotel didn't charge us for the reserved parking which was great. Noisy at night because the windows are old and not soundproof.

- The location is fantastic - There is a public pay parking at the door, which is for free from 20:00 to 8:00. So, excellent if you stay only overnight. It costs 1 EUR per hour and can park maximum 2 hours. - If you plan to stay longer, they have private parking that costs 11 EUR per night. - The breakfast is quite good. - The rooms are quite cozy, nice and clean. - The building is also nice and spacious. - It has 3 elevators which are quite fast.

- The staff doesn't even say "good evening" or anything, they just take our passports and start with the check-in paperwork, but we already are used to that.

The hotel was first of all clean and well equipped, the room was fully carpeted, thick drapes at the windows, the room featured a bath with a tub and a smaller toilet and sink bathroom, the beds and pillows were comfortable, The room also featured 2 tv's. The hotel is located in the centre of the city, 2 steps away from the restaurants and shop. We had a delicious stop at Rétesbolt for local pastries and pizza and pasta at Osteria del Tempio, both lovely, i do recommend them both.

Maybe the breakfast could be improved but it was good none the less.

Flexibility of situation handling. Provided upgrade. Tasty breakfast. Location is excellent. Close to shops, restaurants. Nice city view. We are staying in this hotel mostly when we are in town. This last occasion was so far the best.

The breakfast staff could be more friendly. A smile cost nothing. And starting your day in the hotel seeing the staaf (some of them) making faces behind the guest is not very professional. Parking by the hotel is a bit tricky. Not many spots owned by the hotel. However parking houses are 10 minutes walk away. Or paid spots on the street but this option is the most expensive.

We loved the location of the hotel, the size of the suite with the pullout couch and 1.5 bathrooms. Breakfast was wonderful with delicious Hungarian salami, teperto, bread, croissants, delicious coffee variety and comfortable seating for all.

Our window was right above the front entrance door where people smoked outside, therefore our room kind of smelled like smoke, which was not pleasant. Our other smaller 2 person room on the other side of the hotel did not have the smoke smell problem.
