I was travelling from Northern Ireland through the entire continent and Hungary was one of many stops. I chose Gyor as it was the 1st big city after crossing from Austria and needed a good night sleep. I read the reviews and chose Hotel Revesz based on these. I was pleasantly surprised as the hotel exceeded my expectations. Nice quiet location with a private secure carpark and 24hr reception. Staff were very professional, spoke great English and made the whole experience of checking in and out very pleasant. The price was very reasonable especially when you consider you get free breakfast too. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. I would highly recommend to others and would definitely visit again if in the area.

The breakfast was really good. The room was a bit to small, yet eventually was ok. Same thing about the bathroom. The hotel has a large parking lot which was great since I travelled by car. The staff was nice and helpful. There was a little problem with the WiFi connection and the front-desk clerk accompanied me to my room and checked what was going wrong, fixing the problem. Thank you!

Actually, there was no air-conditioning system in my room (as correctly mentioned in the check-in sheet) yet the cooling fan I expected to find was working at low speed only.

We loved the monarchial vintage vibe with lots of wooden details, amazing draft beer at the bar. We booked the hotel based on reviews and photos of both interior and exterior, very convenient walkability to the beautiful baroque city centre and breakfast included. When we arrived, we got all of that, plus welcome drink in the bar and sauna spa included in the price. All was clean and well taken care of, staff super friendly and amenable, great bbq food in the restaurant (we dined there) and good quality, highly diverse continental breakfast with a traditional Hungarian twist. The pillows were stuffed with feathers which wasn't the best for our allergies. We would recommend switching to hypo-alergenic ones for better accessibility.

Nice, traditional, "farm feeling", a bit labyrinth amenities. Very easy, spacious parking. Good breakfast. The guy at night-shift reception was very kind and explanatory. Also, when later I went down to have a cigarette, he went out with me (for his own cigarette) and we had an interesting chat about greenhouse effect and planet's future and so on. Thank you my friend (didn't keep your name), it was a nice brainstorming, very much appreciated! Also, although I thought I had paid the hotel through booking.com (which I finally didn't) the personnel at morning-shift reception asked me for this in a very polite way. Sorry guys, I didn't mean to cheat, it was my mistake, finally everything went ok, thanks!

We had a big room with a very comfortable bed. Parking was specious. The staff were very friendly. Atmosphere was very cozy. Breakfast was awesome - big variety of sweets and savoury options. Dog friendly with green spaces around the parking for walking the dog. There was a dog fee of 5000HUF/12.7€.

The bathroom was crystal clear and there was a bit of smell. There were not basic showering accessories. Not big deal for us.

The check-in was easy and efficient and the receptionist spoke good English which was helpful. We arrived by bicycle and were offered secure parking for the bike in a basement area which I was impressed by. The room was well furnished and very clean. The price included a free breakfast and the selection and quality of the breakfast was extremely good. Overall we enjoyed our 1 night stay and found it good value for money.

A kettle and fridge would have been nice for tea and coffee in the room .

Lots of parking and lovely receptionist. Room quite spacious and clean. Sadly the restaurant was not open on the day we arrived. Initially our internet did not work but the receptionist soon sorted it out by plugging in a modem on our floor. We were only there for one night (in transit) so sadly did not get to try out the spa facilities although the receptionist did explain how to. Breakfast was really good and lots of variety. Some nice cycling around as well.

We basically liked everything. Good breakfast. Friendly staff. It was convenient that we could check into our room at 23:30 - thank you for that.

There was just a question about the hot water in the shower. There was weak hot water pressure, the water was only warm. Also, I had to wait a few minutes until the warm water started flowing. I was very cold at work. I wanted to warm up in the shower. It didn't work.

In my opinion, this location is good only for transit, not for spending more than one night. The breakfast was acceptable. The receptionist, the boy with long hair, was very nice and helpful. You can park your car at the property, but there is no light during the night. Luckily, there are cameras, but I am not sure if they function all the time. The rooms are clean, but not too big. All in all, it is a good accommodation.

The breakfast was excellent and various dishes were available. The location is ok, the parking is vast and free. The staff was extraordinary, friendly and helpful. We quite like them all.

The tvs in the rooms are quite small, they could be bigger, they can't be seen from the bed. Apart from that, everything was fine.
