The location is excellent, very central and there's lots of restaurants and cafés nearby. It's about 15 min from the train station. The windows are well isolated, so it was very quiet, but you could still open them to let in fresh air. The kitchenette was very functional and spotlessly clean, as was the bathroom. The room was very comfortable and big, even for a double room.

The breakfast buffet was pretty standard compared to the quality of the accommodation (a good standard selection though). Overall, though, there's nothing I really disliked about my stay.

Hotel is located in the heart of Gyor, and is a little gem of a place. I particularly liked how the staff welcome and treated me whilst staying, and they knew and acknowledged it was my first stay. The room I stayed in (12) was outstanding and very spacious. The bathroom was clean and the living spaces very nice.

It would have been very nice to have more tea/coffee/milk provided in the room, and a complimentary soap bar for the bathroom.

Hotel as such was very good and cannot say any bad word about it. Nice historical building, located directly in the center. Very large room, clean, quiet. Very good breakfast.

I think, that info about car parking provided by Booking is very inaccurate. No parking garage available. Do not believe, that you can park somewhere close (I mean less then 300-500 meters) to the hotel. Parking on the street is forbidden for tourists, parking places are crowded. We came in the evening (19:00) and spent 30 min to find one free place for paid parking around 500 meters from hotel. Not very convenient if you travel with luggage, small children, in the winter etc.

Absolute stunning hotel, history, decor, modern decor, location and room size. Beautiful room overlooking the bridge. Location right on entrance to this fairytale land. Bernie was the best checked us in and gave us all the information and history and just a delightful person.

Nothing really though the Saturday breakfast staff not the friendliest compared to everyone else at the hotel

Very nice property in the center of the city with high-quality and very comfortable accommodation, which is really excellent for the four-star level. I stayed in one studio (No. 13) and my mother stayed in another one (No. 16); both were very spacious and impeccably clean with very comfortable beds and bathrooms as well as with fantastic kitchens that had amazing selection of utensils. The staff was very attentive and one of the front office employees spoke English as if it were her mother tongue. Even though the property does not have its own parking, there is public garage nearby and it has very affordable rates.

The units in which we stayed are marketed as superior rooms, but they are in fact very spacious studios, so I think it would be good to name them properly. It is really pity that these studios do not have small sofas or lounge chairs to sit down during the day (they do have standard chairs by the table, but not comfortable to be sitting for longer). My mother's studio did not have the possibility of assuring the full darkness in the night so the morning light was entering the space (it could be solved with movable curtains above the entrance). The breakfast could be somewhat improved (with more selection of food, especially pastries).

Location, size of the room, quietness. Friendly staff, more than correct breakfast.

Room door has a semi-translucent panel on top which lets in lights from corridor when they are on, although they are motion activated. Sound insulation of the room door is poor so you can here conversations held in the corridor.

The hotel itself, location, quality and style of furniture.

It’s the third time we go there and each time at breakfast the smell from the kitchen is all over the dining area and it even goes up on the stairs. For such a top quality hotel maybe worth considering solving this inconvenience.

It was very clean and nice.

Because it left such an indelible impression for the night, I expected the breakfast to be of high standard. Unfortunately, it wasn’t. There wasn’t enough fried eggs, and there wasn’t much variety. The coffee machine kind of splattered when making coffee.

It’s an amazing hotel, spotlessly cleaned, super friendly staff, nice breakfast. Huge rooms and fully equipped kitchen.

The only downside I would highlight is the design as it is not fully accessible/step free. There is a lift; however before that, there are a number of steps. Staff was always happy to help me to lift the buggy as I was travelling with a one-year old but what about a wheelchair user? I hope they will make the necessary changes.

Good location, the hotel staff sent us a message prior to arrival advising of available parking nearby. Receptionist was profesionial and immediately put things right when needed. I would go back thanks to her. Very spacious and comfortable rooms right in the city centre.

Cleaning staff need to be more thorough.
