The location of the hotel is excellent - right in the middle of the town, perfect if you want to have a stroll through the town but not have to get very far away from the hotel. There are stores pretty close and places to eat. The hotel was beautiful, in an old building that used to be a monastery, so full of history. The staff was nice and welcoming and the breakfast very tasty.

While it is stated that there is free parking on the property, they only have available a few places in front of the hotel, which are most likely to be occupied since the hotel is big and therefore there seem to be many guests. The staff was nice and indicated us to a paid parking place very close to the hotel, however we made the reservation thinking we'd have where to leave the car. It was a bit misleading to be told there is free parking when in fact the chances of having a parking spot on the premises are low.

I liked that there is a breakfast option. The hotel itself was also quite nice.

I didn't like that the hotel parking was paid and parking on the street was free till 08:00. The receptionist didn't know how much the street parking costs and how it can be paid. If you are staying for the night and leaving in the morning it doesn't make much sense to pay for a whole day parking in the hotel.

Staff were excellent and very helpful and polite. The room was very clean, the air conditioning excellent and necessary. The history of the hotel was very evident and great to be a part of.

The toilet being across the bedroom and separate from the bathroom. You could also hear everything and I mean everything going on in the adjacent bedrooms. This was especially annoying first thing in the morning, late at night and in the middle of the night. I do not believe changing rooms would change this as the sounds appeR to travel via the extractor fan venting systems

We stayed for a few nights. Location was fantastic, central and right by the river. It was an interesting stay in what used to be a former monastery, and we chose the hotel because of that. There are some historical pictures and information on the walls in the corridors, reception, as well as in the breakfast hall. Breakfast was good with some good options that did not get boring after a few days. Breakfast staff were also very friendly and helpful !Reception staff were extremely welcoming and accommodating. The hotel is a walking distance from the thermal baths in the city, which was an added benefit. There are some shops and a supermarket a few minutes away.

The internet was quite slow, my phone struggled a lot during the stay. I would not risk being here if I had to get some business done quickly.

Perfect location. Easy to finde. Reception staff was very kind. They showed us nearest parking garage, as there were no free parking space in the front of the Hotell. Room was clean, bad comfortable. We had pleasent stay. There is a nice restorant garden, but we did not use breakfast service. We have spent one night. There are lot of restaurant, caffee bar and shops neare by. We recommended Gyor for visit.

There is no elevator. Our room was on the 2nd floor. So it is little bit havy to carry luggage. As the hotel is in an old classic building, it is obvious and I shoul realise that.

The hotel is close to the river, in a few minutes walk you find restaurants and little shops. The lady from the reception was really nice, she explained us how to get to nice hungarian restaurant. Breakfast was good, a lot of things you can choose from, the fact that it starts really early in the morning was good for us. The room was clean, you have enough space and there is also a minibar with reasonable prices. I highly recommend this hotel and when travelling to Gyor we will stay here again for sure!

The location was fabulous. Breakfast was good and the building itself was beautiful.

Parking was difficult. There is parking for a fee of 6 euros per night--which is not bad--but there are a limited number of spots available. I went by car, and luckily, there was space, but I got the last one on a Wednesday. I would just be worried if it were busier. If you go to Györ by train or bus, however, no problem at all; the location is so good you probably don't even need to take a bus very much.

The Hotel Klastrom is very easy to find, the staff are very welcoming and helpful. The local parking was perfect and cheap for a city. All of the information that we needed was sent prior to our arrival. The location of the hotel means that you are right in the heart of the city, so you can walk to all of Gyor's attractions. There are bars and restaurants literally on your doorstep, with shops for all of your drinking and food within 300 meters. Breakfast was served from 06:00 and served everything that you could want.

Location, is the main selling point of this hotel. It lies on a riverbank, close to the city centre and all its nice places and tiny winding streets. It is also close to the Raba Quelle aquapark and easily accessible by car and bus. The staff was super helpful and nice, from the front desk to the maids, they were smiling and helped with anything we needed! The ambience is also great - it is an old monastery and looks the part!

The room was tiny for a family of four, but manageable. We severely lacked racks to dry our towels on though. The equipment is a bit worn out and it shows - while the brand new AC worked flawlessly, the shower leaked, toilet bubbled at odd times of night and closing and opening the window was an adventure. Nothing major, but don't expect a shiny new hotel - expect some character instead :)

Perfect location for visit of historical part of Gyor. Pleasant atmosphere, you can feel a spirit of former monastery. Very kind and helpful staff.

Although breakfast is served until 10:00, the staff does not replenish the food after 09:00. If the hotel is full and you come for breakfast after 09:00, it can happen that you will be hungry.
