this is a small hotel in a calm part of the town, with its own parking (reservation needed). The reception works untill 16hrs but we checked in on our own (online) and everything was ok. The instructions given by the property were clear. The rooms are large, well decorated and one could stay here for seveal days. The place also has its own garden with tables and chairs.

upon the arrival the doors of the breakfast area/entrerance from the parking lot were blocked and cleaning person didnot see us or did not bother with us so we had to go to the street and come from that side. the same door were also blocked by the people having breakfast the next moring. it was a minor issue baceuse we had our lugagge.

I've stayed at this hotel several times and each time I've appreciated how chic and elegantly decorated it is. The breakfast is so delicious that I've always looked forward to it (including the coffee, which isn't always a given in a hotel). The hotel is located on a quiet side street, a 5-minute walk from the train station, and also very close to the city centre of beautiful Györ. I always arrived late in the evening (Györ is a very safe city), and the self-check-in worked perfectly. In addition to the lovely breakfast room and the friendly staff, I also have to mention the courtyard garden. It must be a delight to sit and have breakfast there in spring/summer/fall—unfortunately, I've only been to Györ during the colder seasons. I will definitely come back, when it's warmer!

The good: floor heating in bathroom (already on scorching by the time we arrived, which was really nice), extremely strong water pressure and spacious shower, wide bed, padded door for extra sound insulation.

The less good: Fairly stiff mattress and some construction work that we were not informed of (around 2pm, could've used a break after lunch). All lights in the room are incredibly bright, including bedside ones. Curtain is not blackout (about 80%) so eye covers might be needed. Fridge and kettle could not be plugged in at the same time, I think. Overall just small things that only put a small dent into an otherwise really nicely designed, clean room that was close to all the places we needed it to be.

This hotel offers a truly unforgettable experience! The location is fantastic, making it easy to explore the area, and the staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, designed with a perfect blend of modern amenities and classic charm. The breakfast on Sunday was a highlight — delicious, with a wide variety to choose from. The hotel itself has an amazing style, housed in a beautifully renovated historical building that preserves its original character while providing all the comforts you'd expect.

The facet in the bathroom was leaking a bit - we reported it and were assured that it will be exchanged shortly

What an absolutely beautiful place! A few 100 yards from the train station and within easy walking distance of all the bars and restaurants. The staff were all superb, very friendly and professional. Our room was fantastic. There's a beautiful garden to the back along with an hot tub. You can get drinks from a fridge and just let the staff know what you had later. The breakfast is also beautiful and cooked when you order it. We only stayed for one night on our anniversary trip but loved every minute.

This is a little gem, nice rooms. The hotel operates with a self serve model where you can grab a coffee from the machine or a bottle of wine from the fridge. Nice outdoor patio to drink your wine or beer. Very pleasant. Privat garage area for your car for extra euros. Good location to shopping and restaurants

Hard to say what I didn’t like.

Clean, spacious room in a charming older but thoughtfully renovated and well-maintained building. The common areas are great -- there's a lovely outdoor space with seating and lots of space to roam, as well as a terrace on the second floor. The staff here is welcoming, friendly and helpful. Check-in was a breeze and I was offered plenty of tips for what to see, where to eat, etc. Gyor is a super charming city and the property's location is perfect for getting everywhere within 5-10 minutes by foot. Finally, I decided to try the breakfast and ended up having it both days I was here as it was excellent. I look forward to visiting Gyor again in the future and will no doubt stay here when I do.

David was very efficient in messaging us about codes for accessing the property and our rooms, and about booking in on line prior to arrival. Our room was spacious and a good breakfast was included in our deal. There was a garden to the rear of the property with a jacuzzi which guests could use.

I felt that the bedroom needed curtains to close over at night, although the net curtains and opaque windows gave privacy and we slept well.

We had an amazing stay to this hotel. The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, making us feel right at home from the moment I arrived.The room was spotless, comfortable, and had all the amenities we needed. The hotel's central location was perfect, putting us right in the heart of the city, with easy access to main attractions, shopping, restaurants . Overall, a fantastic experience, and we would definitely stay here again!

Cosy place, the bed was very comfortable and AC worked perfectly. The garden/terrace looked nice.

I requested a specific room and got the only one I didn't like. The room was dark, the lighting was insufficient both in the room and the bathroom. Also it was at the attick, which was a real hassle for us after travelling 80 km on the bikes. We arrived at 16:07 and there was already no reception, the key and instructions were left for us, so nobody there to address the issues. Also I contacted the property the day before about earlier check in considering an early departure for us to avoid cycling the full sun, and the messages were only answered the next day at 10:20.
