I really enjoyed my experience at this 5 star hotel. Every evening I looked forward to the all-you-can-eat buffet dinner at the Palato restaurant...so many choices and all so mouthwateringly delicious! The gym is equipped enough for a good workout. And then there is the pool scene...WOW! The infinity pool gives a magnificent view of The Taj Mahal in all its grandeur. I was mesmerized - everyday enjoying the pool facilities and the hypnotic view of The Taj Mahal. I do have to commend the pool attendants Anshul and Bhartendra who unconditionally captured amazing Instagram-grade images of my experience which I instantly posted on social media. These two gentlemen are talented and so pleasant.

The interior design was very pleasant, the rooms and public spaces attractive and comfortable The reception and room staff were great, the service staff were lovely.

The coffee was terrible... our group kept hoping it would get better but the beans were obviously burnt and it was 3 days of the worst coffee we had in 3 weeks in India. The service at the pool and bar on the roof terrace was understaffed with two "managers" watching and not lifting a finger to help the overworked 2 waiters, who were swamped during Divali - it was ridiculous to watch - hierarchy and self importance gone mad. The prices on the food in the main restaurant were way too expensive. The travel desk guy was ridiculously persistent, to the point where we avoided him.

The highlight of our visit was the incredible dining experience — Chef Ashish crafted each dish with such care and perfection that every bite felt like a celebration of authentic flavors. The presentation and taste were both world-class. A special mention also goes to Pervin, whose attentiveness and genuine warmth made our meal even more memorable. He ensured that every detail was taken care of, making us feel like valued guests throughout. The elegant ambience, combined with the stunning view and impeccable service, made the entire evening unforgettable. Taj Agra truly lives up to its reputation for excellence — a perfect blend of tradition, luxury, and heartfelt hospitality. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Agra!

The staff at this hotel are very friendly and welcoming, going above and beyond to help. The pool with it's Taj view is a highlight, although they really need a few more sun loungers. A drink in the bar over looking the Taj was also special. Breakfast was great, lots of choice and even at busy times we didn't feel rushed. Our room was very spacious and we slept very well in the extremely comfortable bed. The hotel is very well positioned for trips to the Taj and other Agra sights.

More beds by the pool would have been helpful.

We were absolutely delighted to spend at least one night at this hotel — it’s just a shame it was only one! We would have loved to stay longer, but our journey had to continue. What we appreciated most was the rooftop pool, a truly relaxing spot complete with a bar and excellent services. The breakfast was rich and well-served, and all the activities offered by the hotel really enriched our stay. The location is also strategic — just a 10-minute walk from the Taj Mahal, which was incredibly convenient.

One small note: we believe more attention to detail in the room’s cleanliness would enhance the overall experience. In some areas, we noticed dust, which slightly detracts from the otherwise pleasant image of this beautiful hotel.

Breakfast buffet was good. We stayed in suite, so the room size was very good and spacious for 3 adults and 1 kid. The view from pool of Taj Mahal was mesmerizing. My daughter had lovely time in pool and the food options in breakfast and dinner buffet were good and ample. The Taj Mahal "Noor e Taj" show conducted in evening was good and my daughter enjoyed it a lot. There was puppet show and pottery making also.

When we arrived by car, no staff came to assist us with our luggage. We had to unload all our bags ourselves, and only after we had enter the hotel the staff approached us. It was not much of a deal but they do expect tips from you , but we had already done the heavy lifting. Everything else was good.
