1 No Room Service 2 Eggless items in bakery section very few. Nowadays one gets a wide choice in eggless bakery items at other Hyatts too. 3 One restaurant with very closely placed tables 3 No proper signage on roads for directing to hotel.It is set in a rural location and we wasted 1 hour in torrential rain searching for it. Google did not work. 4 The 1st look - Just near the Out sign huge broken mirrors were kept 😕 5 In the Spa the body massage staff only was doing facial while both are diametrically opposite in techniques.Body massage was good not facial. 6 Mini gym very near to massage rooms - very loud & disturbing

The breakfast selection and the cooked breakfast options were extensive and great. The fresh juices were a real plus. The staff served with love, care and attention. The check in and check out was smooth and swift. The chef and his team really love their job and that shows in their food. The place has an amazingly peaceful vibe and the staff do really want to go out of their way to make the stay comfortable and help in any possible way.

There is really very little to fault in this extremely peaceful place. Small things that can be improved are: topping up the fresh cups and kadak chai packets in the room more frequently (although they came swiftly on request,), hot water wasn't working on the first day but again very quickly fixed on complaint, the dinner offering was great but perhaps the dum biryani can be made better, the bins in the room can be cleared more frequently and the finger bowls can be offered at the end of every dinner without asking for them. These are however only points for perfection, otherwise the staff and the place are amazing.

Amazing staff - attentive, helpful. A gorgeous hotel setting. Everything was spotlessly clean and relaxing. An excellent restaurant. Lovely features like a library space with books about Buddhism, a small gym, free yoga classes in the morning and a meditation room. We also used the spa and had a seriously fabulous massage and steam.

The hot water stopped working part way through my friend’s shower and the water pressure was poor at that point so she had to shower and wash her hair in cold water (it had been fine the evening before so I don’t know if this was an issue due to the number of people using it?) It is a long way out of the main part of Bodh Gaya and there are no other restaurants/amenities on the doorstep. This wasn’t a problem for us as we had already been in Bodh Gaya for 8 days at another, central hotel but I can’t see that could be a factor for others (although taxis/rickshaws can be very cheap)

The location is not as described by Booking.com. It is well out of town amongst paddy fields, 2.7 km from the main temple. The road access is very poor for a major hotel - a rutted path. Absolutely astounding that this is the case. The hotel booked a taxi to take us to the airport but the cost of that was ridiculously high and the driver absolutely dreadful. One of the worst and most dangerous drivers we experienced in India.

The best thing of my stay was the room I was given. It was a corner room with very large windows and a beautiful view of green fields all around. Apart from the room, the food was also quite good. We ate all our meals at Gallery Cafe for our entire stay (2 days). Asian, Continental or Indian....every category was very good.

There were frequent power fluctuations. The back up system kicks in after some delay. That can be improved.

The breakfast was very good, tasty and well presented. The meals had a good variety and head chef Anura Kumar is doing a great job. The restaurant staff is exceptionally friendly and attentive and special thanks Raushan and Rajesh were outstanding The Spa services also very nice We met a very nice Tuk Tuk driver on road and he provided an excellent service to us and he was a very pleasing young man and his name was Prince

We would have preferred if the hotel offered half board accomodation

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel HyattPlace Bodh Gaya! A wonderful modern new hotel in a beautiful green corner of nature. A wonderful place for relaxation, reflection and meditation. The entire hotel staff tried very hard to provide us with the best comfort and service. The restaurant staff even brought us a piece of cake before the trip. Our Best recommendations!

We recommend that the hotel organize a travel department for its clients. We asked the reception to arrange a taxi in Varanasi but they offered us too high a price through a third party and we had stress to find a transfer as it is difficult to find a reliable car in this area.

Couldn’t have been better. Staff really friendly but not invasive. Perfect for a meditation retreat as it’s 30 mins walk from the famous mahabodhi temple. Only £1 for a tuktuk there. Really clean! Perfectly clean even! Food is ok. Free water - plenty as needed. Spa is available always without booking. I came at quiet time but even then was surprised by this as a regular person in Hotels. Great library about relevant Buddhist things - really useful. Gym is basic but sufficient.

Having stayed at numerous 4-5 star hotels across India over the past decade, I can confidently say that this hotel ranks among the very best. Tucked away in a peaceful corner of Gaya, it's a true hidden gem with a unique and intimate atmosphere. The food was outstanding, particularly the South Indian dishes. The staff went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay, even arranging car services for us.

The hotel is very aesthetically designed and has a wonderful ambience. The rooms were big and beautifully furnished. The staff were very helpful.

The location was very disappointing. Though it was very close to the Main Buddha temple, the approach road and surrounding areas were very bad. Such a beautiful hotel could have been located in a better area. The single restaurant needs more food options in the menu. Room service is not yet available.
