Location: Nice Location Breakfast was good. I do not eat processed foods but eat whole foods. For breakfast I used to have eggs, vegetables, chole, avocado. Lunch: For lunch Sumit prepared mixed vegetables and black chana as per my requirement. Room: Nice big room, one big table and nice big TV. Staff: Staff at the restaurant were excellent. They went above and beyond their duty. They treated me like their family member (some names: Pankaj, Sumit, Puja). Sumit made excellent lunch for me. The other staff were also very good (Rahul, Karim).

Our recent stay at the Taj Hotel was truly memorable, largely due to the outstanding customer service and hospitality shown by the staff. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the warm welcome and attentiveness of the team, especially the front desk staff, who went above and beyond to make us feel at home. One of the most heartwarming moments during our stay was how they treated our daughter. Although the hotel lacked child-friendly facilities and there were no English TV channels catered to kids—which initially made her a bit bored—the thoughtful gesture of giving her a stuffed toy instantly lifted her spirits. It was a small act that made a big difference, and for that, we are deeply grateful. The cleanliness of our room was also commendable. It was always well-maintained, and offered a comfortable retreat after a long day. Housekeeping clearly takes great pride in their work. The dining experience was another highlight. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of delicious options to suit all tastes, and the à la carte dinner menu was equally impressive, with each dish prepared to our satisfaction. In summary, what truly made our stay special was the genuine warmth and care of the staff. While there is room for improvement in terms of child-friendly amenities, the exceptional service more than made up for it. Thank you to the entire team at Taj for a delightful and memorable experience—we look forward to returning!

One aspect of our stay that didn’t quite meet our expectations was the swimming pool. Coming from a colder country, we were especially looking forward to enjoying the warm weather and spending time relaxing by and in the pool. Unfortunately, we were quite surprised by how cold the pool water was. We had anticipated a slightly heated or at least mildly warm pool, as we’ve experienced in other hotels we’ve stayed at, where swimming was a highlight of our visit. Due to the unexpectedly chilly water, we ultimately decided not to swim, which was disappointing, especially since we had been looking forward to it. A warmer pool would have definitely enhanced our overall experience and made our stay even more enjoyable.

They take care a lot. The live music during dinner at café 17 made the night special) Room Service: 5/5 (Liked the way they send the tea and sandwich) Ambience: 5/5 (Really good, The sitar performance in the morning was very soothing) Housekeeping: 3/5 (They need to do cleaning in depth) Maintenance: 3/5 (They need to work on proper maintenance in rooms and also outside the rooms. Also some finishing touch (in depth) is required at various places of Hotel. Valet service: 3/5 (They are good, but they need to park the vehicles under roofed parking else they should clean the vehicles from outside before returning).

1. Cleanliness in the room was not up to the mark. The carpet and chair seats were not drycleaned properly and the floor under the carpet was very dirty. The toilet seat was not cleaned properly. 2. Two lights in the room were not working and the cold-water tab of the shower just came out as I started to take a bath. I have to fix it a bit to have a bath. 3. Car Valet service is good, but they should also make sure to at least clean (dry mobbing) the cars from outside before handing them over to guests. Due to some rain during the night the car was looking very dirty as it was parked outside hotel, and they handed it in as such. They should park the vehicles under roofed parking else should return vehicle after at least cleaning the car from outside.

Everything is perfect. Especially your staff members. Great food & exceptionally focused, joyful & helpful staff members. Chandrika & Meenakshi from front desk are so sweet & helfull & welcomed us with a big smile & all your staff members at food & beverages took so much care of us, it felt like we are being served by our family members. Taj never fails to impress with its hospitality but would like to mention Taj Chandigarh plays a very important role being a milestone in building Taj's reputation. This was my second trip at Taj Chandigarh & I guess many more to go...see you all very soon...

Great location. Excellent service. The entire hotel staff was quite polite and courteous, at the same time extremely cooperative as well. Thanks to the manager on duty who allowed us early check-in. Breakfast spread was awesome with lots of options to choose from. Room size was quite good. View from my 6th floor room was breathtaking. Never did I see the scale of greenery across the globe that the garden city of Chandigarh is endowed with. Cleanliness of the room and washroom was worth praising. Won't finish my review without mention of Abhas Bhandari who always showed his concern for our comfortable stay at the hotel.

The property is very beautiful and in perfect location in sector 17. Very accessible to the market and sightseeing places.. The food is awesome. The property is beautiful and the staff go out of their way to make you feel special. Had some really scrumptious breakfast buffet and dinner. Special thanks to chef Simranjeet to go out of their way to make our dinner special. And not to forget the live music when made our day and evening even more special..Must stay when you visit Chandigarh.

Booked for myself and my 15 year old son and the booking confirmation clearly stated so. However when we arrived late at night, I was told the room was single occupancy. The room was kitted for single occupancy only.

Located in Sector 17, it is convenient to visit any place in short span of time. The staff is excellently courteous and well-mannered. Visited with family & every moment was worth it. Taj has retained the old world grandeur and I love them for it. If you love authentic Chinese, do not miss their Black Lotus restaurant.

The breakfast layout or options could be a improved upon.

I tried calling +911726613000 (the number mentioned at your website). Must have called 6 or 7 times, either no one answer this number or even if they do, they never keep to their words. Getting the booking done through this number is impossible. Also, 10 - 15 minutes before we were to leave, I requested your front office to keep my final bills ready; we had a flight to catch. This too was not done.

TAJ is the best place to stay when in Chandigardh! Nice and spacious room, good bed, bathroom and amenities. Breakfast buffet is excellent, with delicious Indian and European options made à la minute (delicious Amritsari kulcsa and masala dosa) . Dinner buffet is also yummie and recommended! Staff in the restaurant is top, thank you Rishi. We loved the pool too. All the staff is extremely professional, friendly and helpful. We got travel advice, thank you Mayank, and got help to book train tickets, thank you Navneed from the reception. Over all fantastic stay. We planned to stay 1 night and stayed for 4.
