Our stay at Kolam Serviced apartments was wonderful and peaceful. Each apartment has three rooms. each room has its own private bathroom and the door with lock. We reserved all three rooms in one apartment so we could have family members staying with us. It was peaceful and enjoyable. In the morning they made a tasty breakfast. Dosa or idli with fresh sambar and chutneys. It seemed that everything was made fresh in the morning. We are from USA - we ate the sambar and chutneys and never got sick. This was wonderful to be able to trust the food they prepared. We stayed for several days and will definitely visit again.

Greeted with a smile, the staff here are warm and welcoming. The rooms are clean and comfortable, which made 3 nights here very easy. The room was super clean and cool, beds were comfy, loo roll in the bathroom, and nice hot water! The shared social area of the apartment gives a warm homely feel, as does the prepared traditional breakfast and coffee. Staying here as a couple was great, and we'd stay here again if we're ever in Chennai again. The helpful staff are what makes this place feel like a home away from home on one of the quieter roads in busy Chennai.

Good location. Really good customer service. Free basic breakfast. A/C worked well. Hot water in the shower. On-site laundry services. A relatively quiet place.

The wifi was inconsistent and unreliable in my room on the 3rd floor. The view from my window was not a desirable one. Many shelves and surfaces in my room were not clean. In the bathroom sink and the shower, there was so much grime and build-up of gunk and rust, that I was hesitant to turn them on and use the water. The roll-up curtain and the window especially were covered in dust.

The rooms and common area were all very clean. All toiletries and needs were provided for. The location was excellent as well.

The rooms are part of a 3 bedroom apartment. We didn't figure this out when we booked through booking.com. I don't know, maybe it wasn't explicitly clear. So the living area, dining area, kitchen etc. are common areas between the tenants of the 3 rooms. The owners let us know about this before our stay, but I would have preferred to know about it during booking as well. Also if there was a 1 bhk apartment option that would have been good as well. Because the dining area and kitchen and so on were very well equipped, perfect for families. Also a small thing, the pillows were too big n high.

The staff are awesome (Bhuvana, Munnar & Tamil) went above and beyond with customer care and support. They also taught me useful Tamil phrases to use when I was out and about which saved me time and money. I loved everything about the area and people. They are booked up for my next visit but 🤞they can sort something out. I am spoilt now don’t want to go anywhere else😍

There was some building work going on in the morning for a couple of days. However they gave discount for the inconvenience caused.

Located in a quiet residential street, 30 minutes by taxi from the airport and 5 minutes walk from a busy main road with ATMs, shops where you can buy a SIM card for your phone and lots of restaurants. It's not a touristy area though so no sight seeing nearby. It's clean and comfortable with hot water showers, a water cooler for guests and there is Wi-fi. Good local style breakfast. Lovely helpful staff who can give you advice on local amenities and arrange taxis for you, e g. onward travel to Mamallapuram for Rs2000.

Everything. The staff were very pleasant. The apartment was excellent too.

Can't think of anything. When I got back around 11 pm one of the other occupants of the apartment had locked the main door from inside (you're only supposed to lock your own room, not the common areas) and it took 20 minutes of knocking, ringing and calling to get them to open it. This wasn't in any way the fault of the Kolam staff. In fact they helped me solve the problem.

My stay was really good. All people was very helpfull, supportive , advices to explore the city, an enviorment of sympathy. That was a big plus when someone is traveling alone. The location was very good, I felt safe all the time.

Cleanliness, food, staff, the whole experience, fellow guests. Special mention for staffs Mr. Tamizharasan, Ms. Kanaga, Mr. Ramakanth. Ambience and the theme of the property were tastefully created by their MD.

Very good location! ATM nearby! The best Indian restaurant is around the corner. 30 minutes walk to the coast. Very nice staff!
