I had the pleasure of staying at Novotel Chennai on Chemmiers Road for 10 nights, and overall, it was a fantastic experience. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with a warm welcome by the friendly staff, who were always ready to assist with a smile. Room Quality: The room was spacious, clean, and well-appointed, offering modern amenities that made my stay comfortable. The bed was incredibly comfortable, providing restful sleep each night. I particularly appreciated the large windows that allowed natural light to fill the room and offered pleasant views of the surroundings. Location: The hotel’s location is excellent, situated in a vibrant area with easy access to local metro station.It was convenient for both leisure and work-related activities, making it a perfect choice for business travelers and tourists alike. Facilities: Novotel Chennai boasts a range of facilities, including a well-equipped gym and a lovely pool area. The restaurant served a delicious variety of cuisines, and the breakfast buffet was a highlight of my stay — offering everything from local delicacies to international favorites. Service: The service at Novotel was exceptional. The staff went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay, promptly addressing any requests or questions I had especially providing with large sum note changes whenever needed. Their professionalism and attentiveness truly enhanced my experience. Overall Experience: My 10-night stay at Novotel Chennai on Chemmiers Road was thoroughly enjoyable. With its excellent location, comfortable accommodations, and outstanding service, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Chennai. The only reason I didn't give a perfect score is that there were occasional delays during peak breakfast meal times, i wish they had more staff or had organised well but this did not significantly detract from my overall experience. I look forward to returning on my next visit to Chennai!

Last time when I came in mid July , the breakfast was Dissapointing , informed the reception on the same . Both myself and spouse developed stomach ache and decided to have it from outside saswatha cafe . This aspect needs to be looked into . You can also check others review on the same .

Location is good, easy access to main roads. Room size is adequate for a couple, though the hotel allows children but the room is small to accommodate them.

I booked the airport transport from the front desk paying for an SUV due to luggage needs. At time, a sedan arrived and accommodated the luggage, when I queried about the higher cost I paid, I was promised a refund of the delta amount which was never received. It seemed a bit unprofessional for a big brand to miss such an important aspect.

1. Senior staff Khushboo, Prabhakar, and Pravin are very committed. They took care to intervene personally on every issue and also arranged a really memorable evening ! 2. Housekeeping staff are marvellous! Special mention of Payal is required !

1. Vegetarian menu is hopeless. People don't come to South India, especially Chennai, to eat paneer and aloo jeera. 2. Saturation level usage of garlic in every Vegetarian dish, without a thought as to whether there is a need. 3. Staff have English language problems 4. Staff can be better groomed 5. Establishment seems to cut cost on trivial items while charging premium prices

Good location if you want to be not too far from airport but also away from airport area. Pool was lovely, no drinks in pool area. Breakfast had good selection including a few western choices also open from 630am which was good for early flight and earliest in all our India accommodation. Japanese restaurant on roof was great although expensive by India standards. Staff, especially the doormen were great.

Shower has rain head or normal head but that one is mounted really low (chest height) making showering/hair washing hard. TVs very limited English channels and no option to stream personal devices.

They are keeping up there standards in terms of there service, Cleanliness of the room, quick check in , Check out process, and the food served, staffs are well trained and they are very good in dealing with the customers.

One thing i noticed that , for the breakfast service i thought they are short staffed, may be they can some more people there it will be ideal. so the requests made by the guest can be attended with out any delay.

The service and cleanliness , the staffs , the security staffs …the breakfast was king size and superb. Even if it’s jam packed , we had staffs to take care of us . So much happy and satisfied .

The front office staffs lacks a smiling face , I believe they should learn from the security personnel’s outside how they greet and see off the customers . A smile is the best thing someone can gift without any cost. So please do a check on this . Thank you

love the swimming pool and the gym. The room was also quite comfortable, I love it when the bed is just the right amount of soft, not too much or less.

Pricing according to location and timing of the year could be better. Also, booking.com does not have all the pictures of room and amenities, you should upload them. Like it was not mentioned anywhere online that there is a gym also on the property, which was strange being a Novotel. But I got to know one is there once I reached.

The staff was very friendly and as we have a child who is allergic for dairy products the chef (Amit) ensured to prepare something for the kid that was non dairy products included. That was a great thumps up and thank you very much for this. Overall the stay was very good and also the room was very clean
