This place is simply amazing.It is our go to place when staying in Chennai,located in such a awesome residential layout in a posh and neat locality amidst bungalows.It is an awesome hotel with beautiful decor,the rooms are clean,comfortable and the ambience is so satisfactory.Has a nice little garden,a coffee place and a spiritual aura about the whole place.The food served for breakfast is good.Special mention to the staff at the reception who have always been very courteous and helpful to reach out for all help required.Mr Kapil and Mani's service is really appreciable.We look forward to staying here again and again.Thank you very much!

More bath essentials in the rest room etc can be considered.

The place exceeded my expectations.The location was mindblowing as situated in a very posh and clean layout amidst bungalows and villas.The home like hotel looks very beautiful and serene with the green gardens and antique decor.Totally enjoyed the stay with friends and got some great pictures taken in the beautiful spaces there.Loved the stay! Breakfast was good and the reception staff was helpful and courteous.Will stay again.

The basic amenities provided in the room like drinking water bottles and coffee sachets etc to be refilled on daily basis like is done in good hotels.

The furniture, the garden, flexibility of kindness of reception staff. (Special thanks to Mani :) ) Oh and the great breakfast (please forget the toast here, try the local one), loved the idli - the sambar was of great quality and loved the freshly pressed mango juice, too.

Actually it was a perfect fit for me

The place is like a home away from home: cosy and pretty with unjal and chairs placed in different areas so you could sit with a cuppa tea and enjoy a nice chat. It's also wheelchair friendly so one can bring seniors here too. The location of this house is in the best area in chennai city and walking score is 100! We enjoyed taking long walks along boat club and madras club areas. The food served at breakfast is also quite good with lots of options. The staff are so helpful! The rooms are large and comfortable as also the bathroom. I would definitely visit Niketana again!

great/homely setting, great location (personally) and helpful staff

This is my second time staying at Niketana boat club in the last 3 months. My room price the second time was significantly higher than the first time. Both times, the reservation process was identical....I am a frequent traveller to Chennai and would look forward to receiving your response....

I had a fantastic stay, and I must commend the Kabillan staff for their courteous and helpful nature throughout. I believe that the staff's behavior was even more impressive than the quality of the accommodation itself. Also the Server at Restaurant also was very helpful with great attitude

Location is very central. The house is kept with a lot of love and its evident in the cleaniliness. I was a little apprehensive as i am a solo female traveller. But i didn't feel unsafe at all.

I have reviewed this hotel before and I came back to stay with them because of the fabulous location, the ambience and the friendly staff.

The room I stayed in this time was not as comfortable as earlier. I recommend not booking the Deluxe rooms or staying on the ground floor.

The location was perfect for me. The staff were super responsive and helpful. It felt like a home away from home. I must commend Kabilan and Niranjan in particular.

Some of the rooms are too dark but there is nothing one can do about that!
