There were 2 reasons why this was a fantastic stay. The location was perfect just a short stroll from the atmospheric Jewtown and the Dutch Palace and with plenty of cafes and restaurants also just a short walk away. Breakfast was very good and plentiful but the biggest reason for it being a great stay was Alain who was so helpful when we wanted to arrange a trip on an Alleppey houseboat, even managing to get me a discount, and always available with advice on the locality and offers of assistance to arrange transport. He even was happy to look after our luggage when we checked out to spend our last night of the holiday on a houseboat. Highly recommended.

Lovely staff at Daffodils! Very attentive and welcoming. Handy location in the middle of Mattancherry. Easy to reach the spice markets and other attractions like the synogogue and palace. Comfortable bed and pillows. The room was small but clean. nice breakfast each morning.

Some music in the lobby might be nice to live the atmosphere up a little. Having to take the stairs up to the second floor was a bit of a pain but not the end of the world. Shower pressure wasn't amazing.

THIS WAS SIMPLE AND TASTY AND LOVELY COFFEE. Indian breakfast was delicious when requested, we had to ask for it - was lovely. Service good and nothing too much trouble., staff really helpful and went the extra mile. New years eve was fantastic and helped us have a fun but safe evening.

The communication regarding how to get to the hotel was very poor.We are international Travellers and got a prepaid taxi at the airport, poor coms with a very aggressive taxi driver meant we had to rush to a ferry at ten pm. Had we missed the ferry we would have been stuck on the mainland. The hotel did not convey any of the possible challenges we may face arriving late at night. I think assumed far too much about us as visitors. They did all they could to rectify the situation and we managed to get in after 11 pm on our first night - not ideal.. The airport in hindsight should not have taken the booking, it was a scary start to an otherwise lovely visit.

I have travelled around India pretty extensively and staying at this place was like meeting a unicorn. It was not only spotlessly clean but for a property that has been running for almost a decade, it looked practically brand new. The maintenance and care that is going into this property is next level. It may not be fancy, but this place is a real gem and the icing on the cake is that it is set in a fantastic part of historical Kochi in the wonderful and charming Jew Town district. We found all the staff to be very professional, helpful and accommodating. The breakfast was simple but very tasty and filling. This property really delivered in terms of quality of service and value for money.

A safe for guests to store valuables in the room would have been nice.

Great staff waiting for us on arrival. Gave us a fresh coconut to drink while all the formalities were being sorted. Location is excellent for Fort Cochi and the Jew Town shopping area. No restaurant but plenty nearby. Nice breakfast provided with fresh fruit. Nice room with a/c and ceiling fan. The guys arranged an Uber for us for our onward journey. Would definitely stay here again. Good WiFi.

The Hotel had a very good location sunce it was in the jewish quartet near to many shops and restaurants and also it was easy to reach Fort Kochin since with a tul tul it was 10 minutes. The rooms were very good and extremely clean and the people in the reception were very professional and helpful providing us with all the necessary info on attractions and restaurants. The property is very cute and has a lot of character. Great location and the best part was the amazing staff. Allen made sure our stay was extremely comfortable. He was attentive and went above and beyond to help us with our needs. The rooms are tasteful and clean.

A hidden gem in a quiet road only a short stroll from the synagogue. It’s a clean and safe place with only 8 rooms and all the staff, especially Alain, went out of there way to make us happy and comfortable! Breakfast is huge and amazing and has always varieties.

The staff here was very accommodating and nice. Alain in the reception always helpful and a source of information. Without his help our onward travels would have been a lot more expensive. He also allowed us to have breakfast at an early hour very morning. Excellent service. Another excellent thing was the location and we found Jew town nicer to come back to for shopping, eating and drinking than the more noisy and hectic Fort Kochi where there were more traffic and more tourists.

The room was very small and cramped with no space really for suitcases. No area to chill out and we were confined to relax sitting on the average size bed. We also found no other communal comfortable place to be. The shower was not enclosed and after using it water was everywhere causing a very slippery floor.

Excellent location for people looking heritage sites and experience the true cuisine and feel of Kochi. A 10-minute ferry ride takes you to the heart of the city as well. Daffodils Spice Court is clean and well-maintained, the staff is polite and helpful. The complimentary breakfast is great--filling as well as nutrition-packed. A big cheer for the staff. They were most warm and welcoming, and made us feel at home. We travelled with our six-year-old child. The staff went out of their way to accommodate our requests in relation to food for the kid. They upgraded our room without being asked, and the extra space and facilities added to our comfort and provided the little one more room to move around and play. This was of great relief to us because a substantial part of the day was spent indoors due to the sweltering summer heat. Further, they provided most useful information about the locality, transport, food, and leisure options that helped us streamline our schedule and save time, money and effort. On the second day of our stay, my wife had a splitting headache and the kid showed signs of running a fever. We had just returned in pouring rain and could not locate a medical store. One member of the staff (Allan) went out on his two-wheeler, drove in the rain, and was back with the medicines in no time. For tourists domestic or foreign, this is the kind of care that no money can buy. Please stay at Daffodils Spice Court to have a memorable vacation.
