We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Tissa's Inn. Perfect location with Fort Kochi sights easily accessible on foot. The staff were very helpful and helped us with arranging taxis to the backwaters and to Munnar for 2 days. Everything ran very smoothly and the drivers were very friendly and helpful. Food was good in the restaurant. Rooms are big and comfortable with good air con and fans to keep you cool in the hot Kerala nights. We got a free upgrade to a bigger room which was most welcome.

The only negative was that the pool was a bit run down and not as clean as we would have liked, but it was still fine for a quick dip after a busy day

Super comfortable, with the coziness of a small inn but a highly professional feel. The bedroom was large and air conditioned, and had a large strong shower that really helped after a long hot day of sightseeing. The bed was a little hard for me, although I know that's a matter of taste. I had breakfast in the restaurant every morning and dinner one night. The food was very good and the chef was excited to share Kerala specialties each day. The inn is in a good spot for walking to the cafés and shops of the west side of Fort Kochi, but in a real neighborhood. Sanitha at the front desk was charming and personable and made me feel at home.

Room was spacious and very neat. Staff was very courteous, prompt and helpful. Everyone spoke English, so we didn't feel like language was a problem. The hotel is located centrally in Fort Kochi so all the attractions are in a 5 kms radius. They also helped us in finding a scooty (which is 200m from the hotel), and finalise our tickets for a great kathakali show (everyone MUST go) that happens daily, nearby. The Water Metro and ferry are 5 mins away. We had booked breakfast at the hotel, and it was FANTASTIC. They serve a South Indian and a continental spread, and both were yummy! Loved the ambience, and the pool on the rooftop is cool too. Thanking everyone at Tissa's Inn for their hospitality and care. We'll be back soon!

Staff were very professional and friendly. Made me feel comfortable. They helped organise a Tuk-tuk for me at a very short notice due to some unexpected drawback that I personally faced while I was exploring the beach area on my own. They were quick to respond to my call and were able to help me. The room was very clean and bed super comfy. Even though I stayed for just a day it was worth the time. Special mention to Sanitha & Christina :) thank you for your services and hospitality.

The landline numbers seemed to go unanswered when called. However, when I left them a message on the booking.com chat that their numbers were not reachable. They were quick enough to call me back and help with the directions to reach the hotel. (Travelled by airport Taxi).

WiFi did not work well in our second floor room. They need to install a booster network. Eero is a good and inexpensive option.

We loved everything The hotel was in a beautifully renovated and refurbished colonial house. The bedrooms, all en-suite were great. The roof top swimming pool area was fantastic to chill and relax and take an early morning swim. The food was excellent, deserving of a couple of Michelin stars (so don’t be tempted to eat out every night, you won’t be disappointed). The location is perfect, it’s only a 7-8 stroll into the centre of Fort Kochi or you can head the other way for a walk into Mattancherry. Last but not least, the staff were superb: super fresh, helpful and informative. You certainly can’t find a better place to stay in and explore Fort Kochi

Would recommend, great value for money. “Exceptional” rating is deserved. The rooms were spacious, clean and well equipped with toiletries, great AC and fast WiFi - of a similar standard to the other 4-5* hotels we stayed at in Kerala. Small, quiet hotel - nothing flashy! The staff are all very friendly and accommodating - has a ‘home stay’ feel to it but the team are not overbearing, still respect your privacy etc. Food in the restaurant was excellent and worth a mention. Great location for exploring Fort Kochin. Pool area is quiet and as pictured.

Very nice boutique style hotel with good location. The room we had was spacious, clean, quiet. Excellent breakfast and we also had lunch there which was very good. Kids loved the pool which was much needed after a hot day exploring the beautiful surroundings. Sanitha and her team looked after us extremely well and helped us with transport and gave us lots of useful information. We loved our stay and can highly recommend.

That we could not stay longer

One of the most coziest place to chill out in Fort Kochi if you have come with your friends or family. The room was big and had all the amenities, bed was very comfortable, 24 hours warm water availability and most importantly everything was clean. Morning complimentary breakfast was very tasty with lots of options. Also, the staff were very courteous and very helpful.

There were huge earthen pots placed as decoration in front of our room which seemed to attract a lot of mosquitoes. Also there were mosquitoes in the open space where we had dinner and also the swimming pool area. Wish they could do something to repel them as there are lots of solutions available in the market. Parking too is a bit cramped.

Quiet room, good location and many tourist locations at a walking distance. Very nice and friendly staff and good Indian and continental breakfast options. Chef was very forthcoming and was ready to accommodate any special requests from our side. The staff helped us out with any queries, special requests and were very friendly. They gave us a quiet room on the first floor as per our request . This was tucked away and was very quiet. Room was very clean and cozily decorated.
