"I had an amazing stay at Zostel Fort Kochi! The hostel is perfectly located in the heart of Fort Kochi, within walking distance to all the major attractions. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff were super friendly and helpful. Shoutout to Praveen and Joe, two of the staff members who went above and beyond to make my stay unforgettable! They were always available to answer my questions, offer recommendations, and share stories about the local culture. The hostel organized a great Kerala dinner and cultural night during my stay, which was a wonderful way to experience the local traditions. The common areas were cozy and inviting, and I loved the quirky decor throughout the hostel. The breakfast spread was delicious, with a great selection of options. Praveen and Joe were the highlights of my stay - their enthusiasm, knowledge, and kindness made all the difference. They helped me plan my itinerary, recommended the best local spots, and even took me on a tour of the nearby markets. Their passion for Kochi and its culture was infectious, and I left feeling like I'd truly experienced the best of the city. Very sociable hostel - but not a big party vibe which I loved. The staff, in particular Joe & Naijeen were super friendly and helpful and there's always some activity to join in with. They brought us out on trips to local attractions and helped us sort out scooters for the journey, even organising birthday cake on a whim for some friends! Rooms were comfortable with air con & a fan and plenty of space for your stuff. Also space on the roof to hang out or do some yoga! Would highly recommend staying here I had a wonderful stay 😊

The place is really well located and the room has ac and it’s clean, the cleaning ladies are just amazing

There was a lot of noise even after 11:00pm, not even the guests were the ones making noise but the hosts. They have a pet and smells a lot 😞

I like the place overall, however I do feel there can he improvement done on areas near reception, the area is already small so a lot of shoes laying around the area makes it even more congested. After you enter in the reception there’s no proper light inside the area near the reception. Most of the time the reception is empty so have to wait for check in and check out process.

I loved the place, people, and vibe. The staff was very cheerful, helpful and kind. Overall they had good upkeep. Met some sweet and fun people there.

The kitchen wasn't maintained well. I also think they should do a double background check on some of the male solo guest travellers cause you can encounter some creeps who lack boundaries. I don't want to blame the place for the incidents but I'm hoping Zostel will definitely take care of this next time 😊👍🏻

Could do with some more entertainment, especially with such a nice rooftop, would be good to have like quizzes etc. The bar/cafe upstairs seemed to never be open. Staff could've been a bit more friendly with new comers (were really nice to my friend who stayed before though; maybe they were just fed up of English tourists?).

Excellent location, just walking distance from Fort Kochi beach area ... walking distance from the bus stop .... Perfectly feel at hom .... Praveen is good host ....

None ..... I tell every hostels, keep few outside bathroom/wash rooms .... there are many guests prefer outside wash room ... here we have one outside ...great ... Otherwise everything thing is perfect here ...

The 2 guys who run this place are amazing (I think Joey and...darn, I forget), but they are absolutely they best! These guys made me feel very welcomed and were eager to answer any questions. The two went above and beyond to make sure I got the local feel of Kochi, and that's an understatement. I felt very safe in their hands and did not want to leave when it was time to move on with my journey. I will definitely go back to visit, thank you guys!

The zostel is super comfortable, super location near police quarters, 10 mins walk to the Sea ... and the Fort Kochi town .... Rooms and beds, bathrooms super comfortable ... 1 request, more common outside bathroom pls, which I request every hostels, coz ... it's more private ... and comfortable ... Otherwise excellent stay .... Thank you Zostel team ..

It was a great experience staying over there and meeting like minded other solo travelers and even groups of people across the globe. The hosts were amazing, they helped me in suggesting good cafes and other must visit places nearby.

Washroom facilities could be improved.
