Great location, beautiful furniture and decorations

WiFi was a bit slow; the swimming pool is quite small and unfortunately squeezed right between the front lobby, the restaurant and the open-air corridors to the rooms (more decorative than swimmable); the service at the restaurant was very slow and the lighting was more “hospital-bright” than intimate/romantic.

I have stayed at the Malabar House a few times before and it never disappoints. The rooms and spaces are exquisite and a lovely retreat from the bustle of the town. The staff will attend to any and all requests with a smile and are incredibly kind at all hours (even when you have to depart at 0430 in the morning!) The breakfast is also excellent with a number of fresh selections that should not be missed. I cannot recommend more the Malabar House as both an elegant retreat from the heat of the day but also an oasis of art and beauty in an already wonderful place that is Kochi.

A wonderful experience at this charming and beautiful hotel. What sets it apart is the people. Excellent hospitality from all staff, especially Aparna and manager Vinesh who went above and beyond to also advise and assist to next leg of our journey. Wonderful breakfast. Easy walking access to the fort, local businesses and eateries.

Its a nice property. Well located. But what one pays for it nowhere justifies the service/facilities they offer. They can get away with it on the pretext of calling it a heritage property, which it is. Beautiful place, but surely not worth paying around Rs 35000/- for one night for a double occupancy room.

The breakfast was the lowest point of our stay in this otherwise nice property. Very limited options and even they will get cold by the time they arrive on our table. One doesn't expect this in such exorbitantly priced property. What are we paying for if you cant even offer a decent breakfast ??

Lovely staff, superb location and beautiful layout. The swimming pool was a definite bonus on a humid end of January visit.

The evening meal whilst more than acceptable took a long time to come. Also the wine choices were pretty poor but then again you don't visit India for its wine. The outdoor terrace evening ambiance was lovely

Excellent service. So friendly. The new year gala was lovely with a tasty dinner. Comfy bed.. nice rain shower.. Excellent location.

The pool was small just behind the front desk with no privacy. Car parking is available on the street which is impossible during new year gala night. A huge crowd gathered in front of the resort. So u have to park in some other streets behind the resort. Risky but ok. Food is average. The restaurant is so small. Lots of Mosquitos disturbed my whole night's sleep.

The location was perfect, close to everything. Staff was helpful. Dinner was excellent.

Malabar House has always been a place of respite and generous elegance in the heart of Kochi--a welcome retreat from the heat of the day. But also a glorious place for meals and meeting friends. The staff are always kind and the rooms could not be any nicer with exceptional artwork and space.

We loved this hotel. The staff love their hotel even more, and it shows. The property had an amazing ambience, the team had a familiar friendliness that made us feel welcomed back after each day out...and the food was just ridiculously good. We enjoyed chatting with the managers, the chef - everyone. We would go back to Cochin just to stay at Malabar House - as well as their chocolate samosas....

There was not anything below perfect.

I absolutely loved Malabar House! My room was beautiful, the staff was very attentive, and the breakfast was excellent! I am only sorry our stay here was so short.
