The staff were so welcoming, they helped carry all of our luggage into the rooms, they also welcomed us with traditional drinks. They helped arrange tuk tuk tours for us. The place was absolutely stunning. Huge bathrooms, and an incredible room! It was super clean and nice to be in. The breakfast was really good they have many options and there are eggs and pancakes and other things that you can order that are complimentary to the breakfast free of charge. There was also a snack time at 4 pm which was also complimentary free of charge. The location is very central in Fort Kochi, you can walk everywhere within maximum 10 minutes. It’s also very close to the beach! Overall, you get everything you pay for and more. Lovely staff and amazing place. One of my favorite stays. I would highly recommend this place. It is a must. It’s basically a steal for the price you pay!

The hotel is located in a peaceful area, offering a serene environment for guests. CGH prioritizes sustainability, aiming to minimize waste and reduce environmental impact. The rooms are exceptionally clean, with comfortable beds ensuring a restful stay. The breakfast selection is both diverse and offers great value for money. Additionally, all major tourist attractions in Fort Kochi are easily accessible from the hotel.

There is no dedicated car parking facility for the property however the security team takes care the vehicle being parked out side.

This is genuinely one of the most beautiful hotels I've ever stayed at, it's wonderfully done and decorated, peaceful and serene. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful as well as super professional. The price is more than worth it. Superb location to explore Fort Kochi from. Would go back here in a heartbeat.

Can't recommend this hotel more. The staff were lovely and very helpful, room was clean and comfy. Highlight was the breakfast, made to order and everything we tried was great. Didn't try lunch or dinner but I'm sure it would also be very good. Location was walkable to everything in fort kochi, nice and relaxed area.

The only thing I can think of is the bed was quite soft, which some people might not like.

The property is close to the sea, the morning buffet was quite nice. AC worked excellently and the bathroom/shower was a wonder, beautiful and big. Great hospitality with all the staff.

The rugs in our room were dirty on arrival which was gross but everything else was clean. The per piece fees for doing basic laundry were preposterous, steer clear and just ask a local fora good laundry reference if you need this. We never ate at the restaurant except the breakfast as there are other tasty cheaper options very close by.

Eighth Bastion is a very comfortable hotel right next to the Port Kochi foreshore which is a great place for a stroll or a tuk tuk ride. The room and bathroom were very comfortable and spacious with good amenities. The staff were very professional, charming and helpful. The restaurant was excellent with a mixture of Indian and Western dishes and reasonably priced. There is a small pool, the building has character and there is a charming courtyard garden.

It is far from the cheapest hotel in India, but the quality is good.

The staff is extremely friendly, hospitable, and professional. The room was well-equipped, spacious, and clean, and the hotel is located in a peaceful area of Fort Kochi. They also offer a complimentary sightseeing tour, and the bar serves excellent drinks. Highly recommended.

The rooms have good size; we liked the bathrooms that are large, cozy and well equipped. The location is perfect to take advantage of the Fort Cochin area (galleries, restaurants, Kathakali theatre). Breakfast was good. The staff is kind and welcoming.

Room could be more cozy (bathroom in comparison are uch better). The swimming pool could be better manatained. Ther could be more western option at the restaurant for dinner.

The staff were so friendly and made my birthday a special treat! I loved their service and had a great stay even though I was only there for a day! They were truly spectacular and I had a fabulous time. Would definitely go there again.
