I like the fact that the hotel is located very near to the airport, so that I can rest early after a late flight arrival (close to midnight), without having to travel a longer distance to city centre. I enjoy the modern design and decor of the hotel room, and its carpeted floor provides a warm feel.

Although hotel is located very near to the airport (on google map the distance is 960m, which should be reachable with a 13-minute walk), the design of the road infrastructure is unfriendly to pedestrians, especially tourist with large suitcase who need to walk slowly. There is no proper pedestrian crossing, and rather dangerous to cross the multi-lane streets with heavy traffic. The drainage of water in the bathroom sink was quite slow, as though there was a choke somewhere down. To enhance the breakfast spread, I would suggest adding more intercontinental breakfast options such as cold cut meats, scrambled eggs, cucumber slices, tomato wedges, etc.

Great Location: very near to the Airport. Hotel arranges taxi for pick-up and drop to airport with reasonable payment. Very convenient for people staying in the hotel for overnight flight connections. Superb and Delicious Breakfast with wide variety of choices. Room neat and clean. Very cooperative and professionally trained employees. Hotel employees are very helpful.

It is a Holiday Inn "Express" Hotel with limited services & facilities but the food & drinks prices were extremely High. Moreover there are hardly any restaurants in the vicinity of this hotel and therefore guests have no other option but to eat inside the hotel itself. Hence, food & drinks prices should be more reasonable.

Everything! This is my second stay at this hotel and it is absolutely fantastic. All the staff are friendly, helpful and extremely professional. My room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The hotel's location is just minutes away from the international terminal and it provides a chauffeured car service to the hotel - ideal for first-time visitors or solo female travellers. There is also a yummy complementry breakfast for guests. I highly recommend this hotel - and will definitely return during future visits to Kolkata.

The Holiday Inn has always been a familiar haven for my travels, a place where comfort unfolds like a warm embrace. However, on this visit, a touch of their usual charm seemed to be missing – the absence of a bellhop, a vacancy that tugged at my heartstrings. I can only imagine the plight of weary travelers burdened with overflowing luggage! Thankfully, my own journey required only a single carry-on. Yet, the spirit of hospitality remained undisputed. The staff, each one an A1 gem, ensured my stay was seamless. And to my delight, when a pre-dawn departure was made by me, a perfectly packed breakfast awaited me – a thoughtful gesture that shocked my adventure and exemplified this true essence of the Holiday Inn experience.

While the Holiday Inn did live up to its reputation for comfort, a slight dissonance arose during check-in. The online quoted rate, I had anticipated based on searches, had taken on a slightly higher note. It wasn't a jarring increase, but a minor adjustment that left a surprise.

Hotel is located close to airport which is more convenient for travelers. Hotel is maintained very well and its very clean, also the staffs are always there to help you with smile. Landscape around the hotel is amazing. Food in express cafe and palms kitchen both were really good. Nothing much to complain, to be short it was a very pleasant and comfortable stay. Room not having balcony. I usually love rooms with balcony. Here no rooms have balcony, however apart from this there is nothing to complain about.

Nothing more to advice regarging the property. Only one thing to advice. Keep adequate items of food, lunch and dinner. Everything is fantastic there exept availabilty of some common foods. In breakfast, there were no sweets items. Puri/Luchi were not by good cook. No provision of Dhosa. Sambar was not up to the mark. In lunch and dinner we had to go outside to take our food. A simple availabilty of 4-5 items Viz. Rooti, Butter Naan, Dal fry, Chili chicken, Paneer item was expected to avoid go outside for takng our food. We travel frequently and use to stay 4-5 star hotels. Hope, shortly the management shall take care on food of their guests.

Dining room attendants are like robots. True hospitality was missing. Sometimes napkins were missing from the table. It’s like they were rationing napkins. Sometimes, young waiters made comments that shouldn’t be used. Guests are the reason they are working. One of the manager did not even come to talk to me even an employee told the manager about my concern. Manger was only 30-40 feet away in the dining room. That’s tells me what I need to know about hospitality in that dining room area.

The hotel is located next to the airport, we walked from the airport for the check-in. The morning breakfast buffet is very good. The quality of food at the Palm Kitchen hotel restaurant is very good. We went during Durga Pujo season, so the restaurant had Bengali cuisine buffets which was very nice. If you want to stay close to the airport in an upscale hotel then this is the best choice.

The food menu of both the hotel restaurant as well as the in-room dining is pretty limited, you are out of luck if you are looking for variety except for the morning breakfast buffet or unless they have themed buffets in the restaurant. Food portions may be less for people with big appetites, but, that is something subjective to personal taste. We were happy with the portions served for our purposes.

Proximity to the airport Staff were friendly and helpful. Service like delivering water, tea coffee sachets etc was prompt. The grab and go breakfast idea is a good one and was well packed.

The bed could have been a bit bigger. Something needs to be done about the hotel'name confusion with the Holiday Inn Kolkata airport. The cab drivers keep confusing between the two and getting a pick up from Holiday Inn to the express (if I end up at the wrong one) is a big pain.

Super convenient location very near Kolkata airport. They arranged airport pickup and drop-off for 500 INR. The airport is almost close enough to walk, but would require crossing busy streets. Friendly, helpful staff.

Nothing about the hotel but a warning to incoming international travelers. We couldn't find an ATM at the arrivals hall although there are said to be a couple somewhere in the airport. We were lucky to have some rupees left over from a previous trip to India which got us through to our next destination where we could find an ATM.
