The staff were exceptional. We came with our little boy (1.5yrs) and he loved every moment, we couldn't stop him exploring. From the beach (very clean and maintained), the swimming pool, the butterfly garden, the vegetable garden, the activity hall, the electric buggy, the kids playground and more he was kept busy and happy throughout. We would definitely come back.

We had only one dislike, which is endemic in the hotel industry in general. All water comes in 1 litre plastic bottles, which results in a lot of waste. We would prefer if there were water refills from a water filtration machine(reverse osmosis - UV) and reusable bottles provided with the room.

We had a wonderful four-day break at Abad Turtle Beach. Food was delicious, staff attentive and wonderful facilities. The beach was just a short walk and lovely for watching the sunset. Sweet and friendly dogs on the beach - maybe take some flea and tick treatment as some are suffering with bad skin, but majority well fed by local restaurants. Will absolutely return.

If you want alcohol then you can get this from a local wine shop and take to the restaurant/ drink in your room. This is common across Kerala as most hotels/ restaurants struggle to get a drinks license.

I was really happy that I decided to stay here instead of in Alleppey. The beachfront location can't be beat and the pool next to the jungle and the canals is so relaxing. The breakfast was excellent. The room was clean and well air conditioned. The staff are kind and helpful.

When touring the property the staff warned us against visiting any of the beachfront restaurants and asked us daily about where we were going to dinner, implying that they wanted us to eat at their restaurant. It would be nice if they could be more welcoming to other local businesses.

Our family had a wonderful one-night stay at Abad Turtle Beach Resort in Marari, Alleppey. The accommodation was excellent—clean, spacious, and comfortable, providing a perfect retreat amidst nature. The lush greenery and serene beach access made the experience truly relaxing. The food was delicious, with a great variety of dishes that suited both adults and children. The staff was courteous and attentive, ensuring that we had a pleasant stay. The resort’s peaceful ambiance, well-maintained surroundings, and proximity to the beach made it an ideal getaway for our family. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing stay amidst nature!

Overall the relaxing oasis we were looking for. After a trip through North-India we came here to find some rest and relax. The whole property is amazingly well kept. They even have a butterfly-garden. Rooms are large with good AC. The restaurant serves both buffet and a la carte options. The in-house spa offers a wide variety of Ayurveda treatments - we enjoyed massages and think price/value here is a great deal. At last we want to thank the hotel staff, who are both friendly and very professional. Their attention to detail is just outstanding!

Perfect location - right on a private beach (with sun loungers and lovely staff to assist) and surrounded by lush green nature. I would highly recommend this place and am so glad we booked. The rooms were large and clean, and ours benefitted from a deluxe semi-outdoor shower which was delightful in the warm air. The resort is set on a huge property with lots of facilities and it never felt crowded or loud - there were enough people to create a bit of atmosphere, but enough space that we had loads of privacy. The staff all went above and beyond to assist and made our stay extremely pleasant. For example, on our final day, after checking out (late, I might add!), the reception staff gave us our key back and offered that we could continue to use the room and shower etc for a few more hours until leaving for our flight, allowing us to continue to relax by the beach. All this without us even asking!

The location was incredible, right next to the beach, which was basically empty. The whole hotel seems almost empty although it was pretty much full. It seems that, as the villas are spread out over a large area, there is a lot of privacy. The food was delicious and the staff was very friendly. Finally, the massage treatments were wonderful and reasonably priced.

There was nothing really negative. I would just suggest to install a safe in the rooms and maybe have a pool table in the activity room. It has plenty of space for it and it would be a nice add on for guests staying over a longer period.

This was an exceptional hotel experience for our family. I am generally a lazy reviewer but this time around, I feel obliged to give one as this place has exceeded our expectations. The property itself is very well planned with a great nature and a beach that is kept very clean. The rooms are spacious and the services are impeccable. The staff in this hotel are of the best class and I think the staff are their true strength. Very attentive, honest, meticulous and kind. I only have the highest regard for this hotel and its staff.

Loved the location of the property, the setting right by the beach with a lot of nature within the resort- cows, geese and more! The pool backdrop onto the greenery and water were unmatched. The yoga classes were great and the staff were so friendly and accommodating, the organised trips, spa and mahendi were also well worth booking. Delicious food too. We would definitely stay again!

The only thing that could have been better is the quality of the air conditioning in the room- even on the highest setting it was warm.

The location and close proximity to the beach. We stayed here with our parents to celebrate their 70th b’day. The staff were very friendly and helped us with the surprise b’day cake and decorations we planned for our parents. Really appreciate their effort and they made sure that we were comfortable at all times. Thank you Abad you really made our trip a memorable one to cherish 🥰🥰
