We had a wonderful stay at Abad resort and would highly recommend it.. The resort has a serene private beach where we spent a lot of time unwinding. It also has an Ayurveda center which offered rejuvenating treatments. The buffet spread was okayish with both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. Special mentions to Mr Vinish who went above and beyond to make our stay seamless. He helped arrange transportation and guided us on all our queries for dinner and travel throughout our stay. He also helped us celebrate a birthday party for our nephew with decor.. His support made a big difference in our overall experience due to which we extended our stay to another day. Also, a special mention to Vibin from the restaurant team who was extremely proactive and attentive making sure our dining experience was great. The evening tea and pazhampori was complimentary and good. Overall, I highly recommend this resort if you happen to stay in Marari for a peaceful retreat.

The staff were exceptional. We came with our little boy (1.5yrs) and he loved every moment, we couldn't stop him exploring. From the beach (very clean and maintained), the swimming pool, the butterfly garden, the vegetable garden, the activity hall, the electric buggy, the kids playground and more he was kept busy and happy throughout. We would definitely come back.

We had only one dislike, which is endemic in the hotel industry in general. All water comes in 1 litre plastic bottles, which results in a lot of waste. We would prefer if there were water refills from a water filtration machine(reverse osmosis - UV) and reusable bottles provided with the room.

The resort looked absolutely amazing. It had a great ambiance. There is a great beach at the back. The staff there are very friendly and attentive, and helped us get whatever we needed for our stay. The rooms had extremely comfortable beds, really nice toilets and were cleaned daily. They had a great massage area and swimming pool. There were also books available to read in the dinning area. The buffet dishes were refilled promptly. During the breakfast buffet, they have a chef making fresh eggs for us. I highly recommend the bullseye eggs.

Taxi rides booked through the resort were more expensive than we expected. Wi-Fi signal is poor in some areas. Food could be better.

We had a wonderful four-day break at Abad Turtle Beach. Food was delicious, staff attentive and wonderful facilities. The beach was just a short walk and lovely for watching the sunset. Sweet and friendly dogs on the beach - maybe take some flea and tick treatment as some are suffering with bad skin, but majority well fed by local restaurants. Will absolutely return.

If you want alcohol then you can get this from a local wine shop and take to the restaurant/ drink in your room. This is common across Kerala as most hotels/ restaurants struggle to get a drinks license.

A Four Star property in India , so rooms and common areas are a bit unpolished- but clean and neat . Lots for families to do esp children , very pleasant setting. Does not capitalism on its Great Beach location- very little beach activities are supported by the hotel . Lifeguard seemed dvery nervous about allowing us to swim in the Surf ....so we could really enjoy the waters..

Facilities incl room could so with an upgrade . Breakfast options very ltd .....as are meals , suppose they dont have the kitchens or staff to support a wider variety...more geared towards local tourism rather than international tastes ..

This resort is so welcoming and the staff cannot do more for you. The restaurant had many options for first time visitors to India and we enjoyed every dish. The gardens are kept beautifully, as is the beach area and rooms are cool and spacious. We would have happily stayed longer. There is not much outside the gates that we wanted, and we were very happy to spend our time in resort. There was music each night, just for a short while, all added to the relaxed easy flow of the days into evening.

We didn’t mind this, but you should be aware that there is no alcohol served here.

I was really happy that I decided to stay here instead of in Alleppey. The beachfront location can't be beat and the pool next to the jungle and the canals is so relaxing. The breakfast was excellent. The room was clean and well air conditioned. The staff are kind and helpful.

When touring the property the staff warned us against visiting any of the beachfront restaurants and asked us daily about where we were going to dinner, implying that they wanted us to eat at their restaurant. It would be nice if they could be more welcoming to other local businesses.

Perfect location - right on a private beach (with sun loungers and lovely staff to assist) and surrounded by lush green nature. I would highly recommend this place and am so glad we booked. The rooms were large and clean, and ours benefitted from a deluxe semi-outdoor shower which was delightful in the warm air. The resort is set on a huge property with lots of facilities and it never felt crowded or loud - there were enough people to create a bit of atmosphere, but enough space that we had loads of privacy. The staff all went above and beyond to assist and made our stay extremely pleasant. For example, on our final day, after checking out (late, I might add!), the reception staff gave us our key back and offered that we could continue to use the room and shower etc for a few more hours until leaving for our flight, allowing us to continue to relax by the beach. All this without us even asking!

Beautiful property with easy access to the beach. Absolutely wonderful staff. Very attentive. Special mention of Mr. Srijith and Mr. Bipin’s team in the restaurant. Everything was taken care of with personal attention. Food was yummy. Everyone including the security, housekeeping staff and gardening staff are always smiling and welcoming. Thank you Abad team 🙏🏽
