Absolutely loved my 2-week stay at Hostel Mantra! The 6-bed female dorm was clean, comfy, and had great AC and fans. Bathrooms were tidy and well-maintained. The hostel has two lovely common areas—one by the reception with a projector for movie nights, and a rooftop space with a kitchen and chill vibes. The staff were super kind, responsive, and always happy to help. I met the most amazing people here—it’s a great place to connect with fellow travelers. And special shoutout to Tra, the sweetest hostel dog ever, who made everyone feel extra loved. Looking forward to coming back again!

The place was amazing because of the staff and otherwise. The hostel is located in the Actors/Film makers in the creative district of Andheri West which is the hub for Bollywood crews and aspiring actors and models. The staff at Hostel Mantra are amazingly cool people, especially Pradeep, Sudeep and Jagruti... Always there to help and recommend good places to eat, visit or any other. If you are in Mumbai and if you don't visit Hostel Mantra.. I would say you are missing on a lot!! Highly recommended!! And Bhushan thanks for the Anniversary Party!! i had an amazing time at the hostel and felt very welcome from the moment i arrived late at night. it feels very homey, there’s even a very cute dog living at the hostel. it’s at a very good location in a nice neighbourhood. the room & bathroom was spacious and clean and so was the common area. the staff is extremely friendly and helped me a lot during my stay there. great value for money. i highly recommend staying here and will definitely come back when i visit mumbai again.

I recently stayed at hostel mantra for two days and absolutely loved the vibe of the place. It has a welcoming, relaxed atmosphere that makes you feel at home right away. A big shoutout to Nidhi and her team – they were incredibly supportive, friendly, and always ready to help with anything I needed. Their hospitality truly elevated the experience. If you’re looking for a place that’s both comfortable and full of positive energy, I highly recommend this hostel. Would definitely stay here again!

The hostel itself had a very cozy and laid-back atmosphere. The common area were perfect for meeting fellow travelers. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with plenty of space for luggage and personal belongings. The beds were quite comfortable, and the lockers were big enough to store valuables securely. The location was fantastic—super close to public transportation, and within walking distance to many popular spots like Versova beach and clubs. It made getting around the city incredibly easy.

Great hostel for solo travelers. Very neat and tidy. Staff is awesome. Jagruti and Shubojeet were very kind and helpful. Free breakfast in the morning is a bonus. They also have a lovely dog named Tra who is very friendly. Overall a 10/10 experience.

Loved the place from the moment we walked in and got greeted by the amazing staff. The hostel is a villa converted into a hostel and it is very spacious compared to other hostels I have visited in Mumbai. The rooms are a bit tight but who wants to stay in the room anyways except for sleeping. We were chilling all the time on the rooftop or down in the common area. The neighbourhood is also very posh with only Villas around unlike other parts of Mumbai where there are skyscrapers or slums. Coming back very soon!!!!....

Wish they had morning breakfast, but after speaking to the staff I got to know they are going to start it in the coming month. So it is going to be just perfect!
