The best service

The hotel is a bit outdated but comfortable, and the food is good. It is situated on a quiet street. The service was exceptional - every staff member tried their best to be of best service - warm and smiling - Amaan, Hassan, Sanjay, and especially Mr. Chetan, the manager, who made extra efforts to be attentive and help me out in challenging situations. Thank you very much! I remain with the warm feeling of home away from home and recommend the Svenska Design Hotel in Mumbai Andheri west, to anyone who wants to feel the same.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Svenska Hotel, and I must commend Mr. Chetan, the Front Office Manager, for his exceptional service. From the moment I arrived, he greeted me with a warm smile and ensured a smooth check-in process. His professionalism and attention to detail truly stood out. Mr. Chetan was always available to assist with any queries and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable. His knowledge of the hotel and local area made my experience even better, providing great recommendations for dining and activities. Very comfortable bed and good service

I made a mistake in my booking. I booked for 1 person instead of 2. I asked the hotel to add a second person but was offered this at a higher price than booking. My request to cancel the reservation so that I can make a new booking via Booking for 2 people was rejected. I would have wished for more accommodation from the hotel and do not understand the big price difference between Booking and local prices.

Room size was good, view was nice, Food was tasty, staff was courteous

Booking.com charged me too high. Even Hotel tariff was quiet reasonable and other on line sites were offering half the price (I discovered it later after reaching at hotel, I was believing that I am prime member so Booking.com will provide me best deal, but it was no so)

1. The tariff charged by Booking.com was too high. Even tariff offered by Hotel was low and rooms in hotels at other websites in this Hotel were available at half the price what the Booking.com charged from me. 2. Food was tasty but options were limited in the breakfast & Dinner.

Breakfast was very good with many choices. Staff members went out of their way to be very helpful to us whenever we needed any help, such as to get a rickshaw or a taxi, and to go down the steps because I had an injured foot.

The airconditioning was difficult to figure out and we could not turn it off. We ended up removing the key card to turn all lights off to turn off the airconditioner. In general the light switches were not well-placed or well-marked for easy use.

During my stay at this hotel, I had an absolutely amazing experience from start to finish. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, ensuring that all of my needs were met. The room was impeccably clean and beautifully decorated, creating a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. The amenities provided were top-notch, including a well-equipped fitness center and a delicious breakfast spread. The location of the hotel was perfect, with easy access to nearby attractions and transportation. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a memorable and enjoyable stay. Very friendly staff, very quiet and spacious room, the restaurant is quite nice for fresh Indian cuisine. There's a spot for your driver to drop you right at the entrance of the hotel. If you're looking for an easy clean economical business hotel, this is it.
