Location

Entry gate for beach timing is not convenient as it's closed at 6.30 which is not accepted as tourist who stays at property will visit at beach in sunset only. Rather closing the gate at 6.30 pls put security guard at gate till 7.30.

Over all view and the hotel was good 😊

The room after taking shower turns foggy on the wooden flooring due to AC. Food is very expensive 😞 nothing additional as in we ordered Veg pulav it came without any Raita. Didn't expect the food like this.

Although the front office staff need lot of training, the house keeping staff are wonderful.

The process of check in and dealing with query was very poorly handled. There was a waiting time, even though we had reached much beyond the check in time.

Food and catering. We weren’t given the option of breakfast in our booking and we were then made to pay extra knowing fulling well that there were no better restaurants around that deserted place. Limited menu. Exceptionally overpriced mediocre food. If given a choice, I’d opt to eat every meal somewhere else

Everything was exceptional. Service, food, ambience, pool, garden area, club house and gym.

Door Locks. It repeatedly had an opening issue. Beach entry very poorly maintained. Better not to visit.

Hospitality was excellent. Staff is always cheerful. Food was nice but its very costly. Would like to suggest that stroller facility for infants could be provided on request. Overall experience was great. Would love to visit again.

The ambience, the staff

The rooms had a moist smell in them, like seepage smell. There are very few options in food, that can better.be it in veg or nonveg

Spacious property. Staff was very helpful. Really liked the amenities over there. Breakfast spread was good too!

There was a peculiar smell of fish all over the property once you step outside due to the beach being in close proximity, rest was okay

Neat and clean facilities, peaceful ambiance, practically on the Erangal Beach

Road from Malwani till The Retreat is not maintained well; be prepared for a bumpy ride on this stretch. Very strong odour from unloading of fishing boats and drying of fish just behind the garden. So spending time outdoor (in the garden or pool) may be uncomfortable at times.

The location and staff is very nice

The property needs lot of repairs, which makes guests feel that prices are high compared to the condition of the property
