The location is very good, a bit far from the town , so silent and calm, full of trees and the only sound is the sound of birds and crickets. Our cottage had a huge tree in the front and the night view was amazing. Full of mist and fireflies all around the tree . It's a small road drive up from the highway . We didn't have a problem as we had our own vehicle. The Food was lecker . So yummy and they have a variety of cuisines. Staff was very nice , and the facilities were good.

The bathroom flush didn't work properly. Exhaust is hidden behind curtains. Once you were in the shower , water was going places.

It's a beautiful resort amidst nature with infinity pool with picturesque view. Rooms are very clean and staff did an excellent job in making us comfortable. I would like to make a special mention for shyam the manager who assisted us in making our stay comfortable.

Everything was perfect

We just had two wonderful nights! The staff is kind and professional, the service from the heart and the hotel is beautiful and magical in nature, really wonderful from the smallest detail. Delicious and varied food. Thank you very much for a pleasant stay!

Absolutely enjoyed our stay here. So much calm, peace and nature! Perfect place to do some thinking, writing , and just relaxing.

Rooms didn’t have Ac and a telephone to call for service. Fan was also not ceiling fan it was a standing fan.

Scenic location. Fantastic food of all cuisines having big portions. The breakfast is sumptuous. The rooms are huge with very high awe-inspiring wooden ceilings and the rooms were maintained super clean. The beds are comfy. The staff are very good and super efficient. We also enjoyed a trip into their organic cardomom plantation. And the icing on the cake was the fascinating conversations with the very friendly and well-read owner who is also a doctor; told us how the place itself has got a wonderful history. And overall good value for money too. Thanks to Ambady estate for the memorable experience!

Getting to Munnar itself is a pain due to its winding roads and the approach road to the estate is also not in the best shape. But those issues must be general to Munnar and have nothing to do with our actual stay at Ambady estate. The actual issues with the stay that we faced are with the bathroom: the plumbing is not great, the lighting is dull, the exhaust hides behind the curtain etc. : overall the bathroom needs a little bit of fixing or renovation. Also the living area of the estate is not that big to explore beyond a couple of days. Everything else with our stay at Ambady estate was just superb!

The staff and team were absolutely lovely, really friendly and knowledgeable of the area and the beautiful estate. The location is stunning and extremely relaxing, and the food was fabulous. Loved it and can’t wait to go back.

Furniture inside the villa cud be optimized

This resort is located in a tea estate. There are only 8 rooms available to rent at a time. The surroundings were great, full of scenic beauty. They had big comfortable rooms and well-cooked meals on order were available.

The location is 8-9 km before the city on a hilly road which is not very easy to drive. You are away from the main city and quite dependent on the property for fulfilling all your needs. A person needs to carefully look at the location while booking.
