Exceptional stay experience with natural retreat in the tree house, in our stay we experienced it as tallest tree house ever... Complimentary honeymoon flower bed arrangement and candle light dinner made our trip .... Really surprised 😲 and thanks to the staffs made a great effort to make us happy.... Great and cheerful Welcome by manager sathya started our thrilling experience.... Picked up by jobish with warm hands to our tree house initiated our journey... Restaurant service by Sathish made us to feel homely and taste delicious foods.... His well informed behaviour and kindness fulfilled our journey.... Heartfelt thanks to all the staffs for their amazing and pleasing service... We feel blessed and happy to stay here.... Sure will stay another time....

The property is perfectly situated in a serene cardamom plantation, surrounded by dense trees and the delightful sounds of birds. The flowing river next to the property added a soothing charm that truly made the experience unforgettable. One of the unique highlights of our stay was the hike up to the restaurant—it was a delightful adventure we looked forward to each day. The staff were incredibly polite, attentive, and ensured we felt completely cared for throughout our visit. Ela Ecoland offers a perfect blend of tranquility and natural beauty, making it an ideal getaway. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and are already looking forward to returning. Highly recommended!

Nothing in particular. The soap dispenser in the bathroom was empty.

The location was beautiful. Our room had a beautiful view, right next to a small river. The food was good, nothing gourmet but good. They had good portions for the price and we felt full. The breakfast we had was very homely and nice. The room was clean and set up nicely. At night, the area around the rooms as well as the pathways is well-lit and beautiful. The staff was friendly and polite and spoke multiple languages.

The location is a bit difficult to drive to. As soon as you turn out of the main road into the estate, it is a narrow bumpy dirt road, with the river on one side. The parking space was also insufficient. It could not handle the capacity of all the guests coming the night we came. Our driver had to go to another nearby hotel of the same parent company and park (1-2 km away). More amenities would be better (for ex. handwashing soap was not available, even after asking. And toilet paper was given only after asking for some). The restaurant where the breakfast was held was on top of a hill where getting to can be tiring for some. The dinner being brought to us did make it more accessible. Likewise, having any physical disability will make it difficult to move across the property.

The location was everything! We stayed in the Luxury Tent which had two chairs outside. The view was unreal. We could hear so many different birds; it felt like paradise. The staff were so lovely and friendly. The breakfast was great and the restaurant in general had great food. We had a lovely tuk tuk driver called Jaison, recommended by the staff, who drove us around to different places and showed us around.

It would have been great if there were labels on the menu for vegan food. The luxury tent was quite basic but the view more than made up for it.

The photos don't do this place justice. It's utterly stunning, immersed in nature, so peaceful and serene. All the rooms are located quite a ways away from one another so it feels very private. Lit up at night it is also stunning. The restaurant do beautiful meals and service staff are very kind and welcoming. We walked around the plantation and were shown cardamom, black pepper and coffee, as well as other wildlife. Sathya the manager was incredibly helpful, booking us tuktuk drivers and organising hikes with lovely men. He was on call 24hours a day, and made us feel so well looked after. We will definitely be back next time we're in India.

Not necessarily a dislike, but important to note that you have a bit of a drive to get into town. The rooms themselves are definitely on the basic and minimal side, but will satisfy all your needs.

The rooms were well maintained. And the host Satya was really a gem person. He waited for us at night to receive us and made sure our stay was enjoyable. And we cannot express our happiness without mentioning the food...the food added joy to our experience.. thank you so much sanjay singh 'The Chef' for making our stay so memorable. Looking forward to coming again and staying with Ela Ecoland.

This was a lovely place to stay. Definitely will recommend to friends. *Polite, friendly and helpful staff * Room and bathroom were clean and well maintained, room is tastefully decorated. * Nice Kerala breakfast * Comfy bed * Loved that the stay is quite private, just a couple of cottages here and there on the plantation *Great experience staying on a cardamom plantation next to a stream, feels like in the middle of nature. * A properly working heater in the room, perfect during monsoon times * Water from shower was nice and hot! Loved it.

* There was no filter water available, so one could only buy 1L water bottles. I did not expect this since this place is named 'ecoland'. I expected at least to have to option to get filter water in order to produce less plastic during our stay. * Dinner items available tasted good, but would have liked to see more local items on the menu * Room was musty, but it was also middle of monsoon when we stayed here. With the heater it was manageable. I imagine that outside of monsoon this isn't a problem. * would have liked to have a floor wiper/squeegee in the bathroom, the floor gets totally wet after having a bath. Would be nice to be able to wipe the water away.

Pleasant experience for lovers of greenery! We stayed in a luxury tent for 3 days and felt very comfortable. Great food service we loved the restaurant. The waters in front of the reception are lovely for a dip as well. The sounds of the birds will surprise you :)

The room lacked a bit since some of the lights didn't work, kettle was broken and bathroom not ideal. But if you are just coming to sleep and enjoy the surroundings it will do!

It was wonderful. We enjoyed our stay so much. Everyone was very nice and helpful, the tent was great. Food was also excellent. We hat breakfast and dinner every evening and it was always very much and very good. We also had such a nice tourist guide (organized through Ecoland), he is called Jason. He took us to all great viewing points and told us a lot about the region and India. If you want a guide you should ask for him.
