Loved the size of the room and wonderful private balcony! Peaceful and quiet and bed mega comfortable! A few little shops/stores (small) and a couple of locals restaurants close by so not quite as isolated as I thought in terms of a place to stay. The views make up for this and in my opinion a more chilled place to stay rather than in Munnar town. Breakfast fairly basic but nice and we ate dinner in the restaurant a couple of times so food and price reasonable too! Staff friendly and we got our laundry done here too (back the same day), which was very helpful!

We didn't realise we had booked a room without air con - it ended up being fine in the end as we had a good fan so didn't need AC BUT we needed to pay an extra 500 RPs if we did want air con. I could have missed this in the booking process but be mindful of this if you do want air con.

good hotel , especially if you are on budget , looking for decent place to stay. very friendly staff , food is good (they have their own restaurant, though lunch is not available - but enough options close-by , walking distance ). Bed is big and very comfy, nice views from balcony. Also room very spacious .

the only minus were ongoing constructions / maintenance inside the building, it was pretty loud during the day , thus very disturbing. Not ideal conditions if you come to rest . had there been no constructions going on, we would have stayed longer , cause otherwise everything was all right.

The view from our balcony was stunning, the room was clean, very comfortable and big and the staff were really helpful. The hotel is connected to Munnar Info tour company which provided excellent tours, we went on three and highly recommend them. The hotel also helped organise autos to various places for us. Excellent value.

The hotel and restaurant doesn’t have an alcohol license. It was low season so the restaurant was a bit eerily quiet and the food was just ok. We ate at Desi Aroma 1km down the road instead which was really good but you need to hail an auto unless you want to walk in the dark with no pavements.

The room was amazing and clean - the view was beautiful. The staff are so lovely and will go above and beyond for you. They work so hard to make your stay comfortable and give you everything you need. The thing that stood out most was the kindness of the owner who drove us to the hospital late at night and helped us so much when my partner got food poisoning. He also arranged all tours for us which were great, so I recommend doing tours through the hotel (and you should request the guides Raja Jay and Shiva - they're brilliant!). Definitely book this hotel if you want to be well looked after, a beautiful view, and lovely staff 😊

The accomodation has a hotel part, and a small cottage with two bunkbeds, that´s where I booked my place. Comparing to other hostels, the small house was super cozy and peaceful, bed with sharging point and night lamp, a nice bathroom with hot water, shampoo, soap, drinking water, just like in a hotel. On the top of the building, there is an awesome little place with a hammock, with a beautiful view at the hills. The accomodation also runs many hiking tours for a reasonable price, the largest part of the profit directly supports the local community.

The instant coffee powder was a bit shocking in a coffee producing landscape:), but coffee is just not such a big thing in India generally.

Fabulous hotel, very warm welcome and continued help from Manager Manoj, fantastic spotlessly clean and comfortable room with amazing view and wonderful bird life to watch from the room balcony . Great breakfast and evening meals. Great staff throughout .. kitchen staff brilliant, special mention to Ravi. We went on one of the organised treks which was half day and was excellent with a brilliant informative guide Vijay. We also wanted to trek a local peak independently and Manoj helped us to plan that and arrange transport. The hotel has a few shops near by including a local made chocolate speciality shop. All in we had a most enjoyable stay here and would highly recommend.

A lovely large room with an amazing view of the valley. Sunrise was one of the best I have ever seen. Facilities in the room were really good - a fridge, air con, slippers and other toiletries along with lots of information about trips etc. Staff were very friendly and helpful and made our stay comfortable. Breakfast was good with lots of choice. Restaurant clean and lots of choice on the menu for evening meals. Location good - a bus stop is over the road and it took about 20 minutes to get to Munnar town. Only 46 rupees for two people. We then got a tuk tuk to Lockhart Tea plantation which is really interesting.

A very quiet restaurant. A bit too quiet. Some music would be nice.

The view from the balcony is superb. Every room has that amazing view. Although it is not a homestay, the place still felt very personal. The staff is very nice and helpful. They helped organise a cooking class at short notice and helped us booking bus tickets. The food in the restaurant was good. There's a Kalaripayattu and Kathakali place around the corner with daily shows.

Don't expect a 5 star place. It is a bit dated, and some of the facilities could use an update. But it's clean and functional. There are not many places to eat within walking distance, and you need to take an autorickshaw or bus pretty much everywhere you want to go.

Great location - nice to be away from the busy munnar town but still easy enough to arrange tours and tuktuks to get around, lovely balcony with great views, spacious rooms. restaurant on site with decent enough food, good tour organised by hotel, and very friendly and helpful staff

Sheets could have been cleaner. Food took a long time to be served in the restaurant. There is often loud music playing in the early evening nearby, but this comes from other hotels/houses so isn’t their fault. I was just personally hoping for more peace and quiet.

We booked this place because it is connected to Munnar Info tour company and we wanted booking day trips to be as easy as possible, and this was absolutely the right decision! If you are overwhelmed by all the options in Munnar and don’t know how to decide where to stay in relation to day trips and other activities, just stay here and let the front desk employee take care of the rest! We could book day trips the evening before and they all left from our front door (and the guides/trips were all fantastic!)! The hotel itself is great! Beautiful balconies overlooking the valley, floor-to-ceiling windows, comfortable beds… all as or better than expected! The restaurant food was delicious and reasonably priced; since it is difficult to walk around due to the narrow roads and fast cars, we ended up eating dinner here every night and everything was great! The included breakfast was also delicious and offered a good number of buffet options! The hotel is right around the corner from an auto stand so it‘s always easy to grab a ride somewhere if you need one, and there are also a couple snack shops there as well. A great sunset viewpoint is only a couple-minute auto ride up the hill.

- The front desk wasn’t always staffed, so there were a few times we had to come back a bit later to get assistance, but we were also there right before Christmas so they may not have anticipated how booked they would be and it may not usually be like this. It wasn’t a huge deal to us but a slight inconvenience. - It would be nice if the breakfast buffet was available for longer. It was only open from 8–9:30 am while we were there, which didn’t work great for some of the earlier day trips or if you want to relax and sleep in.
