Over the next 2 to almost 3 months I had a great relationship with the staff and came to appreciate the hostel’s location which had clean air, overlooked Dehradun, showed the straight skyline and stars. The food while not necessarily the yummiest was always convenient and well-made, and I knew I could rely on it when other restaurants were closed or out of reach. I lived in a dorm of 6 beds and had seen many, many people cone and go for their getaways. There would be nights where at least one roommate would snore loudly which caused me to wake up (If you sleep on your back then you WILL snore. If you sleep on your side you won’t snore) and the staff allowed me to change rooms that night which greatly helped me. It was also helpful because I had Hindi language school classes or would travel to or from other cities in India, so I would need good quality sleep. The general building was colorful and kept clean while there was free water. There was a common room where people would watch movies and play game, and the fire-chat nights were fun to see. Overall, I feel like this was an excellent investment of my time, money and location over these nearly 3 months of my stay in India.

I admire the artistry of goSTOPS because it is quite the colorful place. The size of the hostel in general is spacious. Personally my favorite area is the common room where I can sit comfortably on the multilayered couch or watch a movie with the overhead projector. It is understandable that Mussoori is a mountainous place, and the hostel does provide a wide array of food and drinks for you to enjoy your stay. This has served as a solid backup option for my friends who have trouble making the long trek as well as for me who can easily order yummy meals at anytime. The food and drink service is 24 hours by the way, and guests can eat at the reception area, outside, in the common area or in their rooms. The cleaning service is quite satisfactory as there are people cleaning the rooms in the general area every day so that the hostel maintains the clean look that is promoted in the images. There is laundry service, and it is very cheap and affordable which means you can stack all of your clothes and pay for it easily the next day, and if you need towels or other amenities for your bedroom, then they will be provided to you at the reception. The hostel is situated around 20 minutes from the main marketplace, the hub where there is a great deal of food to eat, a great deal of items to buy, all of the banks, ATMs and stores. Well, on my way to my learning center. There are a wide range of options to choose from. As for me, I am an international student who is studying in India, and needed to find one of the least expensive places around. I feel that GoSTOPS is the most suitable option for me because it is colorful, is comfortable, and spacious at low prices. At the same time it is well-maintained and clean. The food, free water and other services provided are very handy.  I have also made friends with the reception and staff who are both funny and friendly. They have been so good at what they do that my week here has been smooth.

For me, it is not a problem since I am athletic and can walk or hike up an hour to the Landour Language School, but for many other people less physically fit hiking up the steep slopes may pose a challenge, therefore, it is not the hostel itself, but its location which some may find difficult to navigate through if going to Landour.

The view from the stay is spectacular, I used to sit for hours in the balcony and enjoyed peace. My go to person was Aashish who took care of everything at the stay for travelers along with his team. The best thing was access to variety of tasty food.

The road to Mall road was very steep if you have to walk. But if one hire a 2 wheeler that is no problem.

It’s comfortable, affordable and I am at home with the staff and the location. It’s a colorful area, more on the artistic side and has ample space as well as nice food service.

Not a problem for me personally, but some people might have a little trouble climbing the steep hills.

I liked the location and the staff were very helpful. Both Ashish, kunal and others were easy to talk to and helped a lot with local information. The vibe at the hostel was great and it's amazing to sit in the common area and have a view of the valley at night.

The property is little old and may need some repairs like the hinges of cupboards etc.

It was so so beautiful and comfortable! Wonderful staff wonderful service ! They went out of way to help us and every area and corner was safe and clean

Excellent view from the room corridor and food being prepared and given 24*7 along with good wifi connection. Parking facility. Common room and courtyard facility ver good.
