Located at Dona Paula, this resort is a very pretty and beautiful one with nice Portuguese villa type architecture with a private beach which was extremely convenient. One could have a sea view from most of the rooms and we had requested for one and the management kept the promise. The room was spacious with a balcony where one can sit and enjoy the sunset and the sea-view. The lawn with the trees and a small swimming pool went well with the surroundings. The restaurant had lots of choices and we had exquisite Goanese cuisines. The food was tasty and the staff always cordially advised us regarding the fresh catches of the day which helped us to choose our dishes. The breakfast was elaborate with some Goan specialities and also other Indian varieties. The rooms and the hotel were neat and tidy and lived upto our expectations with very good internet connections. The staff were very friendly and courteous. Overall a very satisfactory stay.

The only criticism I have for the kitchen is that they do not have a kids menu and since many of the dishes were on the spicier side (as expected for Goanese cuisines), the kids had a bit of a difficult time and had few choices to fall back upon. The cook may take note of that and my tips for other travellers : try to instruct the kitchen people to cook food with minimal spices for the kids. Sometimes that helped, but often it did not..

The location was amazing, the staff were exceptional, the facilities were great, the food scrumptious and the views from the restaurant and garden cottages are to die for.

The price, I felt, is very steep compared to what you get. Esp. for standard rooms which offer no views and quiet small. And the view from our sea view room was blocked off with trees. The private beach was dirty with so much trash around.

It's an absolutely beautiful location. Nice rooms, nice views, and great and friendly staff. I don't think I've seen so many people smiling in my life!

That I can't stay here forever. Really I have no complaints. The only thing I can think of is that trying to order a beer to my room was not possible at all after the cut off point of 11. I do understand that this is for legal reasons and it's out of the staffs control. But that's just the Irish in me craving beer. Nothing to worry about :)

The rooms are lovely and big and we had a private balcony with sea view. Also really nice bathroom. The staff was very friendly. Cocktails, food and breakfast were delicious. The pool was clean and had a good size.

I liked that the property is still run in a homely manner, not corporate style. The old block designed by the late architect Ralino d’souza has been kept well and almost in original state - that adds to the charm. And the location is great - private beach, central, quiet.

The cottages didn’t have a mini fridge. I think for that price they can include it.

Everything! outside restaurant, wonderful lawns, great swimming pool, loungers, good swimming beach!

Confusion over room that was booked per booking.com! The room we booked was only available for 3 of the 4 nights and we were told it was in any event an upgrade as booking .com had shown a misleading photo! Not a good start!

It was a good getaway, with good host and room facilities

The location seemed a bit dull , there isn't much to see around except the view point. Minimum level of travel is needed for shops

Well maintained and very clean resort. Location is great. Restaurant is right next to pool and has a brilliant view of the ocean.

Rooms were beautiful and clean. The resort is well positioned and has beautiful amneties.

I think it was a bit too expensive. But pther than that, really loved everything.

We had a great time at Prainha. The staff were always friendly and helpful. The resort feels secluded but is still very close to Panjim.

The pool was broken during our stay but luckily the reception staff arranged for us to use the pool at the neighbouring resort.
