Hotel Annamalai International is a luxury 4-star hotel located in the heart of Pondicherry. The hotel offers the best facilities and caters to both leisure and business travellers. It is just a few kilometres from the clean beaches of Pondicherry. It is well-connected to the bustling urban life of the union territory. I had the opportunity to stay in this hotel with my aged mother and my spouse for two nights (20th & 24th Jan2025) recently. All three of us are senior citizens and in particular mother was about 90 years old needing wheelchair services. Right from our arrival (on both occasions) the hotel provided us with excellent services including complete assistance with their wheelchair services whenever required. The hospitality shown by their reception, house keeping and room service staff were excellent on both the occasions. The room allotted to us (on both occasions) was spacious and clean with a good view. The toilets was very clean and comfortable. The room was provided with sufficient quantity of tea/coffee ingredients in the coffee maker table, toiletries, linen etc The room service was on time and the food served was very good. Excellent ambience was present in the lobby, the staircase and the corridors. An attractive transparent lift was also present in the hotel. Though the hotel is a roadside establishment, the double layer sealed soundproof glass panels ensures noise free environment inside the room. Overall, our stay in this was very comfortable, safe and memorable. I will definitely recommend this hotel for a safe and memorable family stay. Good show.

Good location Staff are polite and courteous Rooms are spacious especially the suit and executive room. Really value for the money Would recommend.

Reception ambience could be livelier and could improve breakfast options like live counter etc If these are evaluated and improved the hotel is worth going up another star !

Staff were all good. Specially security guards, the porters and the Room service staff. Rooms were maintained tidy and clean. And to the best its in the center of the city. All things nearby.

I booked for a single room with a double bed but instead they gave two individual beds. When asked they said its subject to availability. I think they should tell this after booking confirmation. So anyone booking,Just kindly write whatever u want in the special request. Then only they will take into consideration ur needs and will do the needfull. And items can be added in breakfast buffet. Variety seems to be less. And in case of non-vegetarian its way too less. No live counters. So the omlete available becomes hard. These two points need to be worked out. But regardless, the breakfast prepared is tasty and i loved the sambaar and wadas. Had no issues with taste and service. It was worth a stay at the hotel. I could recommend to anyone.

Breakfast was good Not happy with the location

My flight was at 5.10 p.m. When I requested for either half an hour or one hour beyond 11.00a.m to stay in the room . They Turn down my request. With no option I vacated the room sharp 11.00 a.m

The food was really good, the restaurant is great. The location is also good, but the road has traffic most of the time.

Parking is an issue, but the staff were very helpful. But some guards couldn't understand English, hence there was difficulty communicating. Seemed a bit costly.

A very comfortable 1980s decor corporate hotel. Large bedroom and bathroom with great shower. Friendly staff. Good value. Whilst quite a way out of the French colonial tourist area, it was easy and inexpensive to take tuk-tuks to White Town.

Room, cleanliness, facilities, breakfast all good

Checkin time is 2 PM which is really a headache, if a visitor arrives early morning for checkin around 11 they need to wait for couple of hours more

All staff behaviour was very polite and helpful and the food served in the hotel inside is awesome, very tasty and high quality food.

Small points here and there has to be ignored when u have super quality service

Location of the hotel is very center to all the places which i would like to visit with my family and more over Property is maintained very well neat and clean

this is not complaint but this could be even good if they can provide below services 01 Valet parking 02 Toiletries like toothbrush , shaving kit etc not kept 03 from toilet to room footrest were not kept which is necessary after bath

The way hotel was decorated internally was very good. Also, it was comparatively close to Aurobindo Ashram
