As expected for a homestay. Ali & his family were the most welcoming hosts, very attentive and always available to help with any questions or suggestions for places to eat or tourist spots. Like to chat during breakfast etc which is nice. They have a friend who is a tuk tuk driver who can take you most places too. Room was spacious, clean & comfortable. Location great, not far from the tourist sites & you can walk to shops/restaurants also.

You don't always have to use their tuk tuk service etc - so don't feel pushed into using it if you would prefer to walk etc, they are happy enough regardless.

The property features three guest rooms on both the first and second floors, providing a cozy and intimate atmosphere. We were fortunate to have all three of our rooms on the same floor, making it convenient for our group. While each floor offers private accommodations, the common area is open to all guests, creating a welcoming space to relax and interact. One of the highlights of our stay was the beautiful terrace, where we enjoyed a peaceful breakfast the next morning. The open-air setting, combined with the morning breeze, made for a perfect start to the day. We had planned to experience the Taj Mahal under the full moon, and Ali, our host, gave us a fantastic tip. He arranged two autorickshaws for our group of five so we could visit Chai Taj View Café, a wonderful spot where we could admire the breathtaking view of the Taj Mahal bathed in moonlight. It was a truly magical experience. Breakfast the next morning was delicious and satisfying. We were served a variety of items, including bread omelet, freshly made parathas, a selection of fruits, and hot tea and coffee. The meal was simple yet flavorful, perfectly complementing the serene atmosphere of the terrace. Overall, our stay was memorable, and I would highly recommend this property for its hospitality, charming ambiance, and unique experiences!

Its centrally located so travel becomes easier. Host is very good, food is delicious.

I can really recommend this place - even though I was aware of the good ratings, it still exceeded my expectations! Ali and his family and staff members are very warm and welcoming. They take their time right from the beginning to check you in and provide you with a lot of helpful information and interesting insights. The rooms are clean, spacious and equipped with everything you need, nothing more, nothing less - especially the bed was very comfortable! My personal highlight was the rooftop - you can really see that Ali and his staff have a big passion for flowers. You will find hundreds of different flowers and an awesome view of Agra. Last but not least, the location is very good as well. Both, from the train station and to Taj Mahal it took only a couple of minutes with a Tuk Tuk. To the team: Keep up the good work! I can't think of anything negative - overally a very pleasant stay.

Ali is the most friendly men we met in India! We were welcomed very warmly at the homestay. The room was beautiful and very clean. We were able to get breakfast and dinner which was both really delicious, I highly recommend it. Breakfast you can have at the beautiful rooftop terrace with many lovely plants. Ali helps you a lot with your travelling, not only in Agra, but he also organised transportation for us and kept our luggage the whole day, which helped us extremely! We were really happy about the hospitality and friendliness we found in that homestay. We could not have had a better accommodation for our stay in Agra, we would come anytime again! We had a lovely stay at Alibabas Homestay! Ali and the owner were super nice and welcoming. Ali helped us with organising a tuk tuk driver for visiting all sights including the Taj Mahal, which is close to the homestay. Breakfast was very good (best Paratha we had on our journey!) and rooms were very nice and clean! They also had a nice rooftop terrace and good restaurants nearby. Since we had to leave really early to catch our train they made us a packed breakfast, so we don't have to travel hungry. Ali even helped us to organize a driver from Jaipur to Jodhpur for a local price. He made sure we have a safe trip to Jodhpur. Thanks again for your help, Ali!!! At the end of our stay the owner made us a present and gave us a magnet of the Taj Mahal - we will put the magnet on our fridge at home as a memory! 100% recommendation, best place to stay in Agra!

Everything was great!

The guesthouse looks really nice a nice rooftop terrace! Rooms are big and look very good. The beds are a bit hard and the room was a bit smelly (as is common sometimes in India). They changed our bed sheets to resolve this. Our room was a bit smelly (as you sometimes have in India). They changed the sheets and this helped a bit, but there was still some smell in the room. I think it was just this room, because the room we stayed in after checkout did not have this smell. It is close to the Taj Mahal, but it is in a quiet neighborhood and also there is no sound from the other rooms. It was the most quiet room we had in India. We had a bus leaving late at night and they let us stay in a different room after check out without charge.

We enjoyed our stay here, one of the best hotels we stayed in India. Just one thing I really didn’t like: They were forcing us to write a 10 star review before we left, reminding us upon 4 times we still need to do it. This is really inappropriate for me! In my opinion reviews should be honest, giving future guests an honest way to compare hotels. Fake forced 10 star reviews do not help.

We had a great stay with Alibaba and his nephew Ali. Both kind and helpful hosts. Walking distance of about 15 mins to the Taj Mahal and a short tuk tuk ride to Agra Fort. We arrived by train from Jaipur and picked up a driver for 100/- to take us to the accommodation. All easy. The house is off the main road at a dead end so quiet and away from the traffic. Breakfast was fabulous, my favourite so far. There's plenty of choice of easy to walk to restaurants. Our room was comfortable, it didn't bother us that our window looked into the internal landing/sitting area. The aircon was the best and the bathroom was good. It was a bit too hot to use the roof terrace and I would have liked to as it was so inviting. I would definitely recommend this Homestay.

We had a few bad experiences with our drivers. Though this was not the fault of the Homestay. The aircon pipework dripped it's water into the corner of the bathroom rather than outside, the bathroom floor was wet when the aircon was running. My suggestion would be to remove it as it makes a noise dripping at night IF the bathroom door is left open.

The staff were so friendly & couldn't do enough to make us feel welcome. The owner showed us all around on our check-in (rooftop & balconies, etc). There were lots of plants in pots everywhere which was lovely

They didn't tell us the hot water cylinder circuit breaker, very high & hard to reach, had to be turned on to get any hot water while staying. It was the last day of stay when we found out for us to get a warm shower. The bed was a little harder than I'm used tofor myself, however I have psiatica & need a soft one. Thankfully there was a spare mattress in the room we were able to put on top which made it a bit easier.
